Furniture City review: No returns after delivery-even for brand new items

I recently (2 days ago) purchased kitchen chairs from City Furniture, and while the ordering and delivery process went smoothly, I was very disappointed with the return policy.

The chairs were delivered and the plastic was taken off immediately. The delivery people left quickly, and I realized that the chairs were too large for my space. The next day, I contacted the customer service twice and went to the store to speak to the store manager. I was told that no returns or exchanges are allowed after delivery-even for items that are brand new and unused. In the last four years, I have spent at least $3K in City Furniture in Boca Raton. I have bought a king size mattress and a set of chairs. My son has recently spent $3.5K in the store for a sectional sofa because I recommended City Furniture.

I understand having policies, but this one feels very restrictive and not customer-friendly, especially for furniture where sizing can be difficult to judge in-store. I will not be buying any more furniture in City Furniture in the future.
