Fortiva credit card company has on file that I am dead. I contacted company in October, paid the balance in full as per the agent on the phone. After making full payment they charged me a late fee, and now will not let me pay off account and close account until I provide proof I am not dead. They have 95.00 in fees for a paid off account and will not let me pay, which will lead to more late charges etc.
This is unacceptable.
