We purchased a brand new 2021 Forest River Cherokee Grey Wolf Limited 23 DBH travel trailer. We also purchased an extended warranty for almost $2200 that extended the warranty another 5 years. We were told it covered everything. It has 2 doors to enter the trailer. We used it 4 times in 2021 and everything worked well. At the end of 2021 we put it on a permanent site in a local campground a half hour from our home and that is where it has stayed for the last 2 seasons. Near the end of this year 2023, we were having trouble with the doors not operating correctly. The forward door was separating or pulling apart. We stopped using this door and only used the other one until we could get the first one looked at. I contacted Susquehanna RV in Selingsgrove Pa. where we had purchased it. We were told to take it to their Bloomsburg Pa. store to have it looked at, since this store is closer to us. They told us that Forest River had trouble with these doors because there was no frame inside, and therefore the doors would pull apart because of the hinges being made stiff so the doors do not blow open or shut from the wind. The stiff hinges are what is pulling the doors apart. The mechanic at Susquehanna rv told me the hinges are operating correctly, it's a door problem. We tried to go through the extended warranty and the warranty company said it did not cover doors. We went over the warranty and it does not say it covers doors. The mechanic there told me that Forest River actually redesigned the doors after they started having trouble with them. They built a new door for them thaat had an internal frame. These doors sell for almost $2500 a piece and I need 2 of them. I believe since it is a design flaw and they should issue a recall on them and fix these doors for free for everybody that has a problem. We were lucky to have a trailer with 2 doors in or we would not have been able to use it. The other door is now getting too tight to use and is starting to separate like the first. When we use it next year, it's only a matter of time until we can't use the other door. Then I'm stuck with a travel trailer that I won't be able to use at all.

Claimed loss: We are going to have a complete loss of use of this trailer if the doors do not get replaced because the other door is now pulling apart. This is a design flaw.

Desired outcome: I would like these doors to be replaced and get my $2200 back that I paid for warranty. When I called Susquehanna RV about this problem and told them it was a 2021, the first thing they asked me was "did I buy the insurance".
