FirstKey Homes review: Stay away. Bait-and-switch is what they do.

Do not rent with FKH if you plan staying more than a year. I've been paying 1990$/mo , rents in the area have gone down about 1-2% in last year. Today FKH sent me a letter offering "early choice" lease renewal with, drumroll please, 18.3% increase in my rent to $2355! They scam people like this hoping its too hard to move - attract with smaller price, then hit you with almost 20% increase. They rent much bigger buildings in the area for less money. Also most trees around the house were cut down in past year so now it looks like a cement lifeless disaster. Needless to say, looking to move elsewhere when october market will be flooded with properties. AVOID this company.
