FirstKey Homes review: Horrible company - feels like scam

This company is terrible, with shady and unclear practices. They only seem to care about landlord profits $$$$. The move-in inspection was already completed in their favor, with no alternatives offered. You had to sign it to get access, with no explanations provided. They simply pushed you to proceed with their process. They tell you that later you can submit your own version to address any discrepancies, but they don't guide you through the process and abruptly close the window, preventing you from submitting your side of the story (the actual condition of the property). They also do not support maintenance services, expecting tenants to handle everything— from changing a lightbulb to replacing a faucet or sink. It's absurd. They rarely spend any money on repairs and will cancel service requests on the same day if scheduled after noon. Customer service is nonexistent. So disappointed.
