I heard 'bout First Centennial from my Realtor in 2020. I didn't buy a house then, but my first talk with *** was good. When I was ready to buy a house in 2021, I went back to *** and First Centennial. I'm happy I did. The help and knowledge I got from *** was great. From start to finish, I had a good time.

Dottie was so helpful with our Mortgage. Our realtor told us to go to her and she was great. We were new to buying a house and she helped us a lot. We had a lot of questions and she always answered our emails and calls fast. She was really nice and made us feel good about everything. We are happy we picked her and her team to help us. They made it easy for us. We really like her and think you should go to her too.

Me and my partner were first time home buyers and we had a really bad experience with our LO, Andrew H. He seemed like a nice guy, but he really messed up our loan. It wasn't monitored properly and we ended up with a loan that we didn't even qualify for, even though we were honest on our application. We found out just two days before we were supposed to close that we couldn't get approved and we were homeless for two and a half weeks. It was super stressful and really tough on our family. We had six weeks to catch any issues, but we were told everything was fine until the very end. So, if you think you're asking too many questions, you're not.

Me and my wife started our home buying journey in March , right when the virus craziness started. We found a great realtor and after talking to Dottie ***, we knew she was the perfect mortgage lender. Dottie was always on time, super smart, and a really nice person to work with. She was also tough when dealing with a pesky selling lender, which was great. As first time buyers, we did our homework and looked for the best rate. But Dottie was unstoppable and always found a lower rate than the other guys. Eventually, she locked us in with an awesome rate. If you want a great mortgage company, call First Centennial (and ask for Dottie!). You won't regret it.

First Centennial Mortgage Corporation ain't all that great at checking their accounts, they just hold onto the cash until they feel like checking once a year. Seems like they think they're above the law when it comes to SHEVD (Homestead Exemption for Veterans with Disabilities).

First Centennial Mortgage Corporation really messed me up, both mentally and in my life. I've been trying to get approved by their team for over 10 years, and when I finally got approved and asked another realtor for their opinion, they lowered it and wouldn't give me my pre-approval back. It took a bunch of calls and emails just to get it back. The guy never said sorry or showed any sympathy for what happened. He's a liar who makes fake promises and offers bonuses or credits just to keep you with his company.

I sent some papers to First Centenial Mortgage Corporation on September 8, from *** County in ***. I told them that the initial property tax amount they charged us was wrong and I gave them the right amount. But they didn't process it in time, so they paid the wrong amount. They eventually got the right amount and gave us back the difference, but they haven't fixed their payment system. They keep sending us letters saying we owe more money than we do, and they blame their payment processor. I called my banker, ***, but he wasn't helpful. I called customer service a bunch of times, but they didn't do anything. They keep saying it's a tax matter, but we paid the right amount and they have all the papers and money. They keep sending us letters saying we missed payments, but we didn't. They said it won't affect my mom's credit, but I don't see how that's true with all these mistakes. We don't need to send any more papers.

I started my refi with First Centennial Mortgage Corporation on Aug 13, 2020. They had our mortgage before when we bought our house in Feb 2018, so we thought it would be easy. I gave them all the docs they asked for and paid $450 for an appraisal on 8/24. But since then, they keep giving excuses for why we haven't closed yet. They keep saying just a few more days. We finally got "conditional approval" on 10/28, so I waited. But I heard nothing until I sent an email on 11/13 and then again on 11/25. They said they couldn't get the payoff amount from my current mortgage company. Finally, on 11/26, they said we will close on Dec 1, but they needed all my account statements again. I sent them again. They said we are clear to close and will try to set up closing on the 10th or 11th of Dec. But today, 12/9, they said there was a lien on our house. I told them they knew that from the start and they said it wasn't going to be a problem. But now it is a problem and they need to make some calls. I never heard back despite my husband calling them later today. I didn't want to lose my $450, so I waited, but now it's been almost 4 months and the loan officer still can't give me a close date, even though they said we are clear to close. I'm done waiting and have moved on to another loan officer who got the deal done in 2018.
