First Aid Web CPR certification wallet card

I took the CPR and First Aid course on-line. Passed. Paid for CPR and First Aid certification wallet card. Money was taken out twice from my TD Bank Visa/Debit card for the CPR wallet card on 1/27. It was only taken out once for the first aid certification card. I am requesting a refund for one of the fees for the CPR card.
I would appreciate you resolving this matter. I can be reached :

First Aid Web First aid and cpr certification

Passed the required course for First Aid and CPR, paid the $24 for EACH course. I requested the email version of the large size and got an confirmation number for each. Never received the certificate, but did receive the confirmation email. At this point just want to speak to a person, cause there is not one working number available. There has to be a good reason for this nonsense. If there will not be an explanation then at least refund the money and stop wasting our time. These certifications are needed for our work.

First Aid Web Not the real thing

If you are looking for a legitimate CPR certification, FirstAidWeb Inc. is not an authorized American Heart Association affiliate. The course was nice, downloaded a certificate, but recieved nothing in the mail, and my employer informed me it was not an authorized AHA certification. I wasted time and money.
FYI-make sure it's AHA certified if you need it for work.

First Aid Web Misleading

I needed to get re-certified for my job. I had found the First Aid Web.Com website which offered the CPR/First Aid online course. I finished the tests and put it on my credit card. I didnt feel comfortable about the situation when all I received was a piece of paper with a "order number" yet there was nothing explaining what they charged my credit card or the amount they had charged to my credit card. I then clicked on "Contact" and just received a box with a simple pop up with a box to reply. I replied with " Can I get a phone number to speak with someone about the situation"?. I received a response with " your answer is not clear can you elaborate on the situation"?. I then responded with " I am not feeling very good about this web site. I need a copy of my renewal cpr/first aid course now for proof at work. I cant believe the email I recieved back. It was written just like this without capital letters in the beginning of sentences or just the tone of the email.

"why should it matter to us what you need NOW? if you wanted your cetification NOW you either could have ordered it last week or you could have ordered it by download. poor planning on your part does not constitute am emergency on our part.
and actually, WE dont like YOUR attitude-what makes you think youre entitled to more than what youve paid for ? your order has beem canceled and your funds have been returned to your credit card. please take your business elsewhere. good bye".

I did contact my credit card establishment to inform them of the scam. I need to check if they have actually returned my funds!

I tried a new place " www.CPRAEDCourse.com " and they were great! I now have all my renewals for CPR/First Aid/AED and submitted them to my Supervisor. The final cost was only $32.95 and that also included the AED certification that First Aid Web didnt even offer. I hope this helps someone else. God Bless

I'm the owner of www.cprclass.org. I am very sorry to hear about both of your experiences with these companies, but I'll tell you what...I will give both of you access to our online CPR program and mail you a wallet card, for free. We usually charge $18.95 per class, but since you had this unjust experience, I will set you up with the courses with no charge. Please contact us on our live support chat or send us an email and we will get an account set up for you. I hope to hear from you soon. :)

I ordered my card from cprtoday.com and they never sent it to me nor will they respond to my emails for over 3 weeks now. Does anyone know how I can go about contacting them to get either my card or a refund? If not, where can I go to file a complaint against them?

Dear Sir/Madam:

While I understand your frustration at not having received your order I want to point something out - instead of leaving a nasty, hateful and - most importantly - anonymous comment (which is not only offensive but is also unproductive) you can simply contact us at support@firstaidweb.com (as instructed numerous times on our website). We reply to EVERY email (please make sure that our emails are not blocked by your ISP's spam blocker!) Our support team will be happy to assist you (that's what we're here for) in tracking your order or, failing that, promptly sending you a replacement order. It's that simple. We process and ship approximately 2, 000 order each month so it's inevitable that USPS may occasionally mis-direct or lose an envelope. I guarantee that we have NOTHING to gain by NOT sending you your order. Posting ugly comments without so much as telling us who you are is plain silly and certainly won't help us help you. Again, it's support@firstaidweb.com - but PLEASE, when writing us, be courteous (try to refrain from as you put it "giving us a piece of your mind") and at the very least provide us with your name and order number so that we may be able to assist you. Short of that, our hands are tied.

Jamaal

I, too have been trying to get a hold of firstaidweb. They never reply to my emails either and refuse to provide a phone number to get in contact with them. I can asee there are complaints all over the internet against this company. I'd suggest skipping this company when looking to get yoiur certification.

I have the same experience. I took the test and paid for my CPR and First Aid wall certificate. It's been almost a month and it still has not come yet. I've tried to contact them through the support e-mail, but nothing has happened and not response so far. I'll definitely will NOT recommend this site to anybody.

This happened to me as well. I paid for my CPR card and took the test. It's been almost a month and it still has not come yet. I've tried to contact them through the support e-mail, but nothing has happened besides the usual, "We regret to learn your order failed to reach you in a timely manner. Please contact us at support@firstaidweb.com so that we may confirm your shipping details and promptly send replacement certification." I told them they had the right address and please send it to me ASAP...Absolutely nothing. Guess I'll keep waiting. Definitely will NOT recommend this site to my co-workers

We had the same problem with firstaidweb and too couldn't get a hold of them. We have filed a complaint and are building quite a large following of others who have recently had the same experience with them.
While we are waiting to hear from firstaidweb, we got our real, legit certification from www.emergencyuniversity.com.
We are not affiliated with them in anyway, but did want to let others know there is at least one honest company out there for obtaining real First Aid CPR, etc. certification: Emergency University.

My Husband and I took course from this website and like everyone else, paid the $24.95 for our wallet sized card in January, 2009 and here we are the beginning of March - AND NO CARDS RECEIVED YET! It is very frustrating to pay and put your trust in a company for the FEAR of being SCREWED. That is exactly how I am feeling right now.

I must mention, that I took the CPR course first, passed, paid and received my CPR card within 5 business days. I was impressed. This is the reason my husband took the CPR course and I took the BFA course. All we want is for us to get the cards due us and that we paid for!

First Aide and CPR courses are usually a hands on course for a better understanding of what and how to implement the different procedures. At the end of the course there is a written multiple choice test. It probably would have been cheaper and faster to get your certified card through your local American Red Cross. The instructors are certified to train the public and fully explain the life and death situations that may occur with the victim and the person that delivers the help. Most people do not get involved helping someone in an emergency situation in fear that they may be sued. Every state is different and perhaps you need to check if you are covered by a good samaritan law in the state you are in. Getting a certification over the internet would make me leary of anyone coming to my aide in an emergency after all it may be a life and death situation. Are you going to know how hard and fast your hand depressions are going to be if I need CPR over the internet? Not likely. Are you going to be able to feel my pulse over the internet? Are you going to know how to bandage my leg if it seriously gashed or even torn off my body? Or any other missing limb? There are certain ways to tie the wounded area up to prevent any more lost of blood. Can't learn that on the internet. Good luck with your on line certification card, and if you do receive it like your friend did I truely don't feel that you or any one else is qualified for it. From a former American Red Cross First Aide and CPR instructor, learn the hands on course you will have so much more advantage over your friend. You will know how to respond in an emergency situation.

First Aid Web Left me vulgar message

I wrote them because the online CPR was not free as mentioned on their site. They have you go through entire course and at the end to receive the CPR card you have to pay 24.95 for it. So I wrote them and mentioned this.

There response to me from support group by the name of Joanne wrote me back stating: " your an idiot - you want free certification? Try the red cross and watch them laugh at you! Du***ss!"

WOW, how unprofessional can it get. I hope my account number I gave them is secure and will not be used. I'm now nervous and need to watch my account for transactions!

My Husband and I took course from this website and like everyone else, paid the $24.95 for our wallet sized card in January, 2017 and here we are the beginning of March - AND NO CARDS RECEIVED YET!

First Aid Web CPR card is a rip off!

Since filing the original complaint have been contacted by First Aid Web. I supplied them with a copy of the receipt that I paid thru paypal. However instead of providing the CPR card they have been arguing about their customer service. If they had good customer service the card would have already been provided. Instead I have had to spend the last month and a half trying to get what I paid for. I have now gone elsewhere to take care of the problem.

Horrible customer service. Spoke with a Bryan, who is incredibly condescending and unprofessional in his demeanor. This CPR is not accredited by any recognised by any major CPR institutions. Bogus. Do not purchase! They refuse to refund. This is a scam. CPR certificate does not have a license number.

This website is a complete fraud. My husband completed the course, proceeded to the payment page where it took his credit card info before loading the card to print. Once he hit submit it charged the card but never loaded the card to be printed. We emailed them twice and got no response and the # they have on the website is no longer in service...how convenient. I reported them to my bank as for fraud so I was refunded the money while my bank investigates this on our behalf.

If you took an online course that was not connected to a local real person provider/trainer, you got what you purchased. There are a lot of $19.95 training websites, if they don't require a hands on skills test by a local person, Stay away from them.

You got what you paid for.

I also took the course, and paid with credit card. It has been almost a month and I have no recieved my wallet card by mail. I have emailed twice and have gotten no response. I need this certification for a class and if I do not show proof of being certified I will fail the class. I am extremely frustrated and angry that I wasted the money and now I am going to possibly fail my class.

I took the two tests - first aid and CPR. they took my credit card number for both tests and the wallet cards. I passes both tests with 100% too. As soon as the card was accepted, the web site went dead...I could not reach them again. the disclaimer came out on my printer that there were ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS AND NO RECOURSE TO GET THE MONEY OR THE CARDS. hOW CAN THESE PEOPLE GET AWAY WITH THIS KIND OF FRAUD. I am a Director of Nursing, and sent most of my nurses to this site for CPR. I have had to call them all immediately -- some of them did the same thing I did -- and the site went "dead" on them too. I feel terrible to have been unknowingly part of this fraud. what am I to do about the money my nurses have lost when all they did was follow my instructions. It's a mess.

My wife bought their fraudulent product on February, 27 and it is now April 17. When she got no response, I got involved and traced them back to Allstate Moving and Storage of 70 Gazza Blvd, Farmingdale, NY 11735. The phone number there is [protected]. I think everyone they have ripped off should start calling them... Of course it will do no good. They make more promises on the phone and never call you back or deliver your product. But at least maybe someone will realize how badly they are ripping people off and start doing something about it.

I plan to do something about it and it is outlined below in the last letter that I sent to them this afternoon. Almost two months of runaround and broken promises is unacceptable. And it takes more than coming on this site and posting your happy message about contacting you to make it better, firstaidweb. We've tried and you don't answer. Now we know why there is no phone number on your website.

Here is a copy of my letter. I urge everyone who has had the same problem to take the same steps and maybe we can stop this fraudulent company.

---I have been very nice about the lies and lack of contact from this company. My wife took your online course and paid for a wallet card on Feb. 27. She needed to have her certification turned in within a few days so she would receive her yearly stipend at work (just over $900). The information on your site assured her that this was a reasonable time period to expect so she signed up.

After about 7 days of receiving nothing from you and her deadline approaching, she tried to e-mail your company. She got an autoresponder message that says someone would contact her in 24 hours or less. No one contacted her. She tried for the next three days and never got a response. Finally the e-mails started coming back as undeliverable so she asked me to help her figure it out. Since e-mail is the only contact information you have on your website, I found a phone number through your domain and left a message. Amazingly I received a phone call in a couple of days. I told the lady about the situation and she said that we should send another e-mail with the information in it and that she would get the card out to us. About a week later the card showed up… with the wrong name on it. My wife paid for your service with her PayPal account that she uses for her side business. The business name is --------- --------. In all of her e-mails she was very plain that the name for the card was ----- -------. Obviously no one bothered to read the e-mail completely and just used the name that appeared in the header. I would love to think that they just copied and pasted the wrong information but even --------- -------- was misspelled!

So she tried to e-mail again to ask if there was a way she could just print out a card.. hoping against hope that she could still turn it in and get the stipend. Of course, she got no response to her e-mails… So I called your moving and storage company again and tried to find out how she could print out a card instead of waiting for your incompetent employees to mess it up again. The lady I spoke to on the phone seemed to want to help so I calmly explained the situation to her and she said that she thought it could be done but she would have to check. I told her of the urgency yet again and she took my phone number and said she would call me back as soon as she found out. Of course I never got a phone call. That was 3 days ago.

I called this morning one more time and was told by the young girl who answered the phone that no one who dealt with firstaidweb.com was in at the moment. I told her the story and about all the broken promises and screw-ups and that if no one could take care of this today that I would be reversing charges on the credit card and she asked if I could call back in the morning. I told her that I could not since I would be leaving town in the morning. She asked for my phone number and said that she would have someone call me back shortly. Knowing that no one would call, I gave her the number anyway. Of course, no one called.

So the incompetence of your company has cost my wife $900 plus the $49.90 that she paid for the certification card. I am disputing the $49.90 charge with the credit card company and will also be reporting your shoddy business practices to the BBB, the NY state attorney general and anyone else I can think of. And I will also be posting this letter on any website I can find in hopes that other people will not be taken in by your lies. And before you try to threaten me with libel, believe me that every word I have typed is true and I have documentation to prove it. As a matter of fact, I think I will speak to a lawyer about trying to recover damages for the $900 your fraudulent promises costs my wife on her job, not to mention the fact that she also loses her position as a coach at her school because you have to be certified to be a coach.

I’m sorry it came to this but your company did nothing but take my wife’s money and make empty promises. Maybe you should post my letter on your ‘Testimonials’ page. Or better yet, maybe you should stick with the moving and storage business. Hopefully you are better at that than you are at firstaidweb.com.

I signed up for CPR/First Aid via FirstAidWeb.com in FEBRUARY, 2007. Because we were in the process of an adoption, time was of the essence, so I opted for the "download now" feature. I paid $50 through Paypal. No download, no card. I sent multiple emails, without ANY response from the company. Finally, we got our CPR/First Aid cards elsewhere. I put in a complaint to PayPal and -- guess what? -- They said "nontangible" items -- like CPR cards and first aid certificates -- were not covered under their buyer protection. I've called the phone number PayPal gave me for FirstAidWeb.com -- it's just a "full" mailbox, which won't allow you to leave any information. I am angry and frustrated at FirstAidWeb.com, and also at PayPal, which purports to give the buyer protection, but instead aids companies like FirstAidWeb.com in getting paid for their fraudulent claims!
