I want my money back for the $360.50 I was charged on November 17, for removing broken tie rod ends and installing new ones, as well as performing a performance alignment. This was done by Fast Lane Auto Service. The work was done because my alignment failed and caused the tie rod ends to break. Fast Lane Auto Service did the work on November 8.
On November 17, I, the owner of the vehicle with license plate ***, went to Fast Lane Auto Service for a performance alignment. Before the alignment, the handling of the vehicle was good and there were no strange noises. After the alignment, I noticed a clunking noise and a decrease in responsiveness. I tried to get the issue resolved with the business, but they didn't help.
On November 23, after inspecting the vehicle, Fast Lane Auto Service recommended replacing the damaged tie rod ends, which were beyond repair. They said that the improper alignment caused the tie rod ends to fail completely. If I had known that Fast Lane Auto Service couldn't handle advanced vehicle setups without damaging important safety components, I would have gone to other certified technicians for the performance alignment.
As of December 23, the vehicle is responsive and there are no strange noises.
