Fareshope review: Flights

I found a flight from Montreal to Miami listed for $350 CAD on this website and purchased two tickets using my credit card. Right after completing the purchase, I received an email asking me to call their support line to confirm.

When I called, I was told that the fare I booked was “no longer available” and that I would need to pay an additional $250 per ticket — otherwise, the original $350 per ticket would not be refunded.

This is blatant bait-and-switch and a complete scam. The price they advertise is clearly just a tactic to get you to commit and then pressure you into paying more. I am extremely disappointed and intend to file an official complaint with the appropriate consumer protection authorities.

Avoid this site at all costs.
