EZ Pass Delaware review: Administration fees

I have SunPass Pro, which I paid a bit more money for transporter to put on car windshield, and it works for out of state. I can use it from Georgia all the way to New Hampshire.

11/11/2022 I traveled through few Delaware toll stations, all use the express lanes.

At 12:27:27pm toll charge of $19.42, the EZ DE took money out of my SunPass account automatically.

12:34:52pm toll charge of $5, again took money out of my SunPass account automatically.

Traveling through states North to South. Went through many tolls and all using express with my SunPass Transporter stick in the car windshield. I have SunPass app that I can keep track of balance and make sure account has surplus fund.

On early of February 2023, I received mail from EZ Pass Delaware for toll violation. Toll price is only $4, but other fees $50.

I emailed EZ pass Delaware to request waivers of fees total $50 and fix their invoice to toll free for $4 only so I can pay the toll online with credit card.

Because, it’s not my fault that their toll camera was glitching and can’t capture the barcode on the transporter like it should be.

If the camera was working properly it will be able to charge me through my SunPass like it did in the two transactions above.

(P.S. a lot of states are doing tolls by plate with free of charge or small admin fee, like under $5. Not like this ridiculous DE charge $50)
