This company requires a $50 "activation fee" to process a free stay at a resort as long as you attend one of their timeshare presentations. It also says if you did not get confirmation of your stay then you can cancel the booking and get a refund.
I contacted them multiple time to change my reservation since they are unableto confirmmy booking. They have still not confirmed or refunded my money. This is rip off. They only use fax and fax being an outdated tech no one uses it any more. Another way to contact them is mail. Even if you mail multiple times they deny receiving it. They sent emails but they do not respond to any requests in emails. So convenient to do fraud.
This is a rip off !
I suspect that they hope most folks will simply forget about the activation fee refund and they get to pocket it. And for those who actually request their money back, they are going to make damn sure that it is going to be as difficult and drawn out as possible. The associated who are on the reservation desk are the rudest people you can meet in the hospitality industry.
The Office of Consumer Protection is going to hear from me next. ETTSI are freakin' rip off artists!
Desired outcome: refund my money back ASAP.
