On or about August 6, 2021, electrical service commenced at 1011 Alvin, Sulphur, LA., 70663, under Account Number [protected]. The breaker on the pole and the breaker box inside were not activated. A few days later, we requested the drop line be removed so we could move the pole to 1009 Alvin, the City residential lot next door to1011 Alvin, service be discontinued while we attempted to pass the City electrical inspection, and addressed other construction issues. We did not request Entergy reconnect the drop line after the pole was moved. From the day the drop line was removed, in August, 2021 through today, July 14, 2023, a meter has not been available and a drop line from the street to the pole does not exist,

A few months ago, early in the year 2023, electrical service was requested at 908 Cass Street, Sulphur, LA., 70663, under account number: [protected]. A few days ago the invoice from Entergy reflected a $ 478.22 charge from Alvin!

We request you amend the invoice to reflect reasonable initial connection fees and disconnect fees; nothing else.

Please contact me as soon as possible as the matter is urgent and will quickly become a major issue.

Please contact me today...

Sincerely,

Country of complaint: United States

Desired outcome: Remove the $478.22 Alvin fee and replace with a reasonable "initial hook-up fee and disconnect fee". Thank you !
