I am horrified to see that this is allowed. The world is sick enough without having these kinds of adverts on TV. What kind of people allow this kind of thing. I wonder if they have children. Are they not afraid that this will somehow harm their own children, never mind others.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I wish that they would stop showing porn adverts and showing all those shows i cant watch a decent movie any more and my husband even agrees with me that this is ridicules i find porn adverts offensive please respect us enough to stop showing those adverts.
this is one of the reasons why i want to leave this country. my two daughters had their sleep over party to night with seven of their girl friends. right before our eyes they screen an advert on porn with not only naked pictures but obscene noises. this is not on. i will not renew my television licence and i will push this further with legal aid
I would like to inform you that I will be boycotting ETV from now on. I was horrified on Saturday night while trying to watch the Last King of Scotland, I was subjected to continuous advertisements being flighted for Hard Core Porn. These advertisements were graphic and should never have been seen on TV. If it was not for the fact that I wanted to watch the end of the movie I would have turned it off.
I was forced to leave the room every time these advertisements were shown.
I am not a prude, but in a Country where we experience high incidents of Violence, rape, child abuse etc, no honorable TV Station should allow this kind of advertising just to earn a buck or two. I am thoroughly disgusted.
I can not believe what I am seeing! These sex and porn adverts are criminal! And that in a country that is riddled with sex crimes! Have we completely lost our sense of morality? eTV, you disgust me! Whoever authorized this should be put behind bars!
I totally agree with you "sadnessofsoul" ETV's relentless screening of these SICK, DEGRADING and PATHETIC adverts cheapens its image and annoys many of its viewers. I believe that, unfortunately, chances are slim that ETV will make any changes based on these types of complaints. I'm wondering what percentage of that R5 per sms goes to ETV.
