Dutch Barn Landscaping, Inc. ain't no good. They messed up our pool and it still ain't working after months. They won't even tell us when it'll be fixed and the owner won't answer our calls. We had to beg them to fill in the trenches so our pets wouldn't get hurt. They don't know how to talk to customers and it's just plain awful.

DutchBarn did a great job with our pool, fire pit, and shade structure about a year ago. I waited to write this review to make sure everything worked and lasted. I gotta say, I can't recommend DBL enough. They make your backyard look amazing! Whenever I had questions, they answered quickly and went above and beyond to fix things. They made my family so happy to have our own little resort in our backyard, and we're super thankful.

We signed a contract with Dutch Barn Landscaping, Inc. in early 2021. They said they would finish our pool before the end of the year. But it's May 2022 and it's still not done. We had to call them a lot, and they didn't always answer. They always had an excuse. Finally, we thought the pool was done and ready to swim in. But the water wasn't right, even though they said it was. And then we found a leak from the skimmer. They didn't caulk it right when they installed it. We had to call and email them a lot to get them to fix it. They still haven't fixed it yet. We don't recommend Dutch Barn for pools. If you're going to spend a lot of money on your property, use a reliable professional. You shouldn't have to beg a company to finish a job you paid for.

This company put in a pool for us in late 2019. Unfortunately, they damaged our septic mound, even though we specifically told them to stay off of it. They were initially working with us to diagnose and fix the issue, but then stopped responding to our messages. We had to pay for a septic mound inspection and repair, as well as a soil test. Dutch Barn did reimburse us $2,000, but we still have a balance due for the septic pump installation. We have pictures and copies of our correspondence with them. If the pump doesn't fix the issue, we want them to pay for the mound to be completely dug up and repaired. The pump is supposed to fix a bio mat issue caused by soil compaction. Once the issue is fixed, we need the mound dirt on the south end to be added back due to constant leakage.

Dutchbarn did our pool and deck, they said it would take 4-6 weeks but it's been 13 weeks and it's still not done. We had some problems with them, like they messed up and we had to pay $2,000 extra. They also didn't follow the rules and got in trouble with the city. When we tried to cancel, they said we would lose a lot of our deposit because they had already bought materials, but they didn't even have a restocking fee. It's been a big mess and we regret hiring them.

We got our pool and landscaping done by Dutch Barn Landscaping, Inc. in September . The pool was finished in November, but they didn't clean it before closing it for the winter. This caused staining on the pool shell when we opened it in the spring. They put some chemicals in it, but it didn't work, and they said it was safe for our kids to swim in, but it wasn't. We tried to talk to *** their pool expert, but they didn't help us. We had to deal with the stains ourselves. The landscaping was installed in November, and it was basically dead in the spring. We tried to contact them, but they didn't do anything. The paver walkway they installed needs attention, but they haven't done anything about it. They just wait for the warranty to run out.
