On 08/02/22 I renewed my subscription with Avast , and was paid up to February 2023.Then I got the following charges on my bank statements.
9/6/22 46.43 DRI* Avast
9/26/22 107.99 " "
10/3/22 71.27 " "
10/5/22 21.59 " "
10/5/22 71.27 " "
Total $318.55
I only have One device and Avast had 10 devices noted on something.
I have been an unpaid volunteer at a large veterans help site online for decades and finally retired, I also needed new glasses and waited to use my Prescription online to save money. I was shocked when I could finally see better and found these charges on my bank statements.
It seems the withdrawals stopped-none in November and none so far in December but I only have a partial December statement.
I would like a refund. Who, in their right mind , would pay these fees for one personal computer, used basically for email and ,in my case, unpaid volunteer work?
I am a senior citizen and wonder how many here, complaining, are senior citizens too?

That was my last complaint- Early 2023 -----I no longer want to deal with Avast, please cancel my subscription. Please tell me the status of any refund from above.
I just got a email message from Avast and they want to charge me again and I want my so called "subscription" cancelled.
I was not the only one who complained about this same thing. Maybe I should contact the NYS Attorney General.?
