Cabo San Lucas, Cabo Soft Dental Care, DR ROSA PENA ARRESTED FOR FRAUD, formerly Angels Dental, Angels Touch Dental Clinic - CABO MEXICO DENTAL TRAVEL WARNING! Re Dr Rosa Pena and Enrique Ilitzsky.
Cabo Soft Dental Care dental clinic dentist Dr Rosa Pena has committed felony defamation and other crimes including threatening, harassing and arranging the false arrests of competing Cabo dental professionals and dental fraud on patients.
CAUTION: San Jose del Cabo, Cabo dentist Dr. Rosa Pena changed the name of Angels Touch Dental Clinic to Cabo Soft Dental Care to avoid civil judgements by her victims after her arrest for felonies.
Cabo dentist Dr. Pena is a general dentist only and is accused of dental fraud for performing shoddy work on patients while pretending to be a dental specialist. Dr Rosa Pena hasn’t any formal post-grad dental school specialist training critical for oral surgery, dental implants, endodontics or cosmetic dentistry according to when I checked with Cabo's Salubridad. I personally was a victim of a bait and switch amounting to several thousand dollars by this dentist.
THIS MAKES IT OFFICIAL! I found a copy of the orignal arrest order for Dr Rosa Pena and her partner in crime Enrique Ilitzsky issued by a Cabo judge at: www.angelstouchdentalclinic.com
This site was set up by her former partner who along with her dental specialists who used to do the big dental treatments requiring dental specialist left her. Now this under-trained general dentist attempts it on her own. Beware!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I had a similar experience with Cabo dentist Dr. Rosa Pena who is also called the Dentist with the Touch of an Angel in her ads. We had just come to Cabo on a vacation. I had a terrible toothache. My friend said to try San Jose del Cabo dentist Dr. Rosa Pena because she had seen some of her ads.
Dr. Rosa Pena said my tooth was abscessed and would have to be pulled, but she could not deaden my mouth because of the infection. My husband said I just sat there with tears running down my face as she was pulling the tooth. Dr. Pena yelled at me to stop being such a baby.
When she pulled the tooth out - she quietly said Oops. It was a perfectly good tooth! The abscess was in the inner gum not the tooth. I asked her if she was a periodontist and she got huffy and said she was only a general dentist but had been practicing for many years. My husband refused to pay her and fortunately we never went back to her. Now I have a bridge where that good tooth could have been saved had she not been pretending to be a periodontist.
I am happy to read she was arrested and not surprised.
Thanks for the posting!
I had a great deal of work (crowns) done by Dr. Pena in 2007 and have had to have some of it redone here in the states. A fractured crown replaced in less than a year, a broken crown in less than three years which resulted in an accidental crown removal from the mold process less than 4 years later. Thousands of dollars here in the states, even with insurance. Sad to know - she seemed like such a nice lady. Very sorry.
