I had "work" by the above Dr. and he left me with lumps on my stomach, a dent in one thigh, and an obvious pull on one eye. I do not wear shorts, I do not smile so my eye is not obvious to others, and I do not wear anything form fitting. I was better off before I went to the "Doctor".
If you look at Long Island Plastic Surgery Group, take a look at his pix and you will see he obviously does not take any pride in himself or his work. Trust your first instinct. I should have but LIPSG is the oldest plastic surgery group on Long Island and located in a lovely, lovely town.
PLEASE BE-WARE & AWARE.
Dear Disfigured,
I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with Dr. Douglas. I, however, had the opposite. Two years ago, Dr. Douglas performed my complicated breast reconstruction. I came out looking as good as new. Maybe even better. He was, throughout the process, both competent and concerned.
Wishing you luck with your self-esteem issues,
Noreen E.
I have found Dr. Douglas to be a competent, caring physician, he wants you to be happy with the results, if you have issues discuss them with the doctor. After all we are all walking advertisements after plastic surgery so it only makes sense that a doctor would want you to look good.
I just can't believe that he/they wouldn't make corrections. I'm going to find a way to post partial pictures.
You would think so; however, I sent pix & letter - didn't have the courtesy to even repond.

That doesn't even include the results of the facial I had there, from which I had a severe reaction & was off work for 1 month. They referred me to Dr Tina Funt, a wonderful Garden City Dermatologist - but I had to pay for it. They wanted nothing to do with me.
I have had many procedures with Dr. Douglas and always found him and his staff to be caring and very skilled. I did have a problem with breast augmentation and he went out of his way to correct the problem. In the end, my implants were removed at my request due to a problem with my bone and muscle structure. I can only say wonderful things about Dr. Douglas.
I had lower eyelid surgery with Dr. Douglas in February 2009 and I could not be happier. As an operating room nurse, I did a lot of research and talked to a lot of people. He is truly an artist- he is calm, soft-spoken and just a wonderful caring human being. He has an excellent demeanor with patients, as do his staff and I would go back to him in a heartbeat. I have nothing negative to say and I am surprised that you are not happy. LIPSG as a whole has a great reputation and Dr. Douglas is an excellent doctor and surgeon!
