I'm a regular Dixy customer, mainly go there for the chicken but made a huge mistake by buying some chips from there! Firstly, the chips portion is extremely small, by that I mean it would not even fill up a child's stomach. Next problem, they were completely oily and soggy, it was as if they had been left there for ages.
For people who eat there, please observe the hygiene around and trust me it will completely turn you off! I'm not gonna go there again and I will be sending a formal complaint shortly to their head office!
Sad to say the chicken is absolutely disgusting. Many people stop going to the shop because the chicken is awful. My son and daughter has complained before. The shop is in Wellingborough. They never wear a mask not even in the height of covid. They had it around their chin. Their style and attitude is clearly reflected in the chicken. The chicken is pink, the batter is soft and uncooked. I took pictures if there is a way you could let me know so I can send it to you. Very disappointed and disgusted
