Discount Van Lines review: Moving company nightmare

We hired discount van lines to move are furniture from indiana to flordia on may 5th 2022 they sold the contract to unlimitted moving and storage from illinois, whice they jacked the price up by double, they left with are furniture on 12am the 6th, took it up by chicago put in a warehouse and didnt deliver it untill june 11th, all while my husband sat in flordia waiting and reshduleing his airline ticket 3 times because they kept promising it would be this week and that failed, so week after week we were lied to, I then became so irriated I started to do some research with the online federal motor cariers only to find out unlimitted moving had been suspended on april 29th for 30 days, so they crosssed state lines to take my furniture and held hostage because they were suspended, when they finely delivered 6 weeks late, they loss an end table and coffee table, we imediately filled a claim and finally they responded in an email that said they were going to settle are claim for 24.00 lol, this is such an insult are living room furniture was 3years old from flexsteel all wood and metal and will cost us at least 800.00 to replace, they lie, and never return calls, pretty much drop off the face of the earth once they have stolen your personal items
