They're preying on people i'm lucky enough to know how they work and to spot bs. What's more bs is i'm not even a senior so i'm glad that i got it instead someone that's vulnerable. I want to say here is the number to file a fraud complaint as well as the website to do it on.[protected] file a https://consumer.georgia.gov/resolve-your-dispute. Both are to the AG in GA. Also make a complaint on ftc.gov, direct it as fraud, other, other, other and thrn put in the explanation. It will ask who you spoke to just put "first name: records, "last name: division" explanation follows. Our information is being stolen and sold from company data breaches. It isn't fair that they're allowed to do this. Senior citizens are getting scammed more than ever. That's good ol amerikkka for you not giving a damn about nothing but their pockets.

I also received this very mailing on 7/25/2023 from the "Records Division" indicating I was eligible for a "state regulated program" as a "resident of Georgia" for "all final expenses up to $35,000."

Unfortunately, it is probably all legal and not outright lying, but intentionally deceptive. It is sad that this kind of thing is normalized by the advertising industry.

This shouldn't be legal. The name "Records Division" is intended to seem like a generic government office. The envelope stamp "SECOND NOTICE/TIME SENSITIVE" is a blatant lie, as there is never a first notice sent. The mailer listed our mortgage lender at the top to try and disguise itself as a legitimate mailer from our legitimate lender. Please investigate and shut this company down. And then shut down Direct Mail Processors, Inc. as well as they're engaged in the dissemination of this fraudulent phishing scam. If anyone gets a mailer with this return address DO NOT respond.

I received a form today that looks like a W-2 federal tax form. They labeled it as a "T-X XXXX Benefit Information for Ohio Citizens Only". They made it sound like a government program that pays 100% of funeral expenses tax free. However, no where on the form or the envelopes did it indicate which government agency they were talking about, and in teeny tiny print it says they are not affiliated with any government agency. Sounds too good to be true so I searched the names and addresses on the envelopes, and found this ComplaintsBoard.com record with a rating of F. That sounds about right. Definitely a scam.

This is definitely a scam. Name is super generic so you think it MIGHT actually be some government office you don't know about and the "Second Notice" makes you nervous. Mailer looks professional, with the name of your mortgage lender and states how the benefits you sign up for might protect you against "Disability, Critical or Terminal Illness, Death or Unemployment" (lol that unemployment is a fate worse than death). Requests borrower and spouse/co-borrower information which...if you got the info from my lender, shouldn't you already know, if you're legit? Totally bogus and should be shut down immediately.

This company sent harassing mail solicitations to my mom, who is not eligible for Medicare yet, telling her she had one week to call them or she would be charged a penalty for not signing up early. I went to their website and walked her through how to opt out. She called me because I work for a Medicare brokerage company and I hate to see companies like this scaring people into thinking they have to call within a week or they lose their opportunity for Medicare OR they're told they "pay a penalty for life." We have already opted her out online on your dnpoptout website with the 9 digit code she was given. Please do not contact her again.

This looked suspicious to me from the get-go with it's nasty "SECOND WARN
iNG" label - but I never received a 1st warning so already I was on alert. This cannot be anything real - never heard of the company - don't live in or near GA and don't know anyone ehtere. Thanks to the postings and warnings I can see this is a SCAM. I wondered about it - companies like this should be put out of business. Sadly they manage to trick some people - those who don't know how to look it up and believe the fraudulent look of this to be actually serious documents.
Really companies such as this should be put out of business. I would give less than 1 star if I could.

I received this letter, showing "Second Notice, Time Sensitive" and "Important Document Enclosed" At the top of slip was T-2, in middle 2022 Benefit Information for Texas Citizens Only, then 2022. Looked like an official government form at first glance, but it gave no specific information. Only said "your are entitled to more benefits not provided by government funds...up to $35,000.00" In microscopic print above the bar code was "not affilated with or endorsed by any government agency." I got one 10/14. Said I was eligible for Government programs, including car purchase plan, cell phone, health care and may even qualify for a government position based on my education.

I love to talk to telemarketers and scammers. I called and finally got a woman named "***".
After she "explained" my benefits and was very assertive wanting my information. I started asking her questions..."how long have you been there, how's the pay, is it a friendly work environment"?

Told her if she was willing to relocate, my company would offer a her a job. She gave me her date of birth, SS number address, telephone...apparently one does not have to be very smart to work there

This is nothing but a mining operation for email addresses so they can flood your email with come-ons. DON'T FALL FOR IT! When you respond to the optoutdmn.com you will start getting dozens of emails loading up your inbox or spam. To the ComplaintsBoard.com - I am a senior citizen and so sick and tired of this c*** it isn't funny. I suggest very strongly see to it these complaints reach the *** Attorneys General Offices of Fraud Complaints using the *** Mails. They don't listen to individuals but they may listen to you.

At the very bottom it states: "To opt out of future mailings please visit dmpoptout.com and enter this 9 digit code: XXX-XXX-XXX."
I am concerned this is a phishing attempt.

A myriad of scams began when I turned 50. I've avoided them all for years, until 7/5. I requested a Medicare form from AZ DES. Few days later, the "2021 T-2 AZ benifit" form arrived. Thinking it was form I asked for, I sent it in. Then the actual form arrived. DES has no idea what a "T-2" is. IRS site directed me to phishing and to images/stories about the T2 scam. Smallest, lightest, finest print on form directs me to dmpoptout.com where it appears they're just gathering more information. The plethora of calls, texts and emails are overwhelming. Literally hundreds. A scam isn't just theft of money. Could someone tell me how to truly opt out of direct mail processing llc and dmpoptout.com? I would truly appreciate it.

I received the same letter as each of you did as of today, And it seems to be from the Record Division out of Georgia, but it is from Direct Mail Network, LLC. Have never heard of this place to be sending me a second notice which I have not received the first notice. It`s stating that I can be getting more benefits from the government . I did fill it out but did not send yet until it brought me to this page. I did not even think the mail would even deliver this if it is a scam. They are really good at making it look legit.

I am tired of getting these envelopes in the mail that are made to look like official documents with verbage like "SECOND NOTICE/TIME SENSITIVE" from..."Records Division *** is just another way to steal our money. I do not buy it! These get torn up and trashed along with all the other organizations and companies that want to take my money. I can't afford it and I have far too much of this junk filling up my mailbox... It's too much for me to handle. I am trying to clean out the excess paper out of my apartment and every day I get *** more of these kinds of items.I went to the company website and opted out and complained. Luckily I have *** Informed Delivery. I get email with scanned images of most of my mail (not all) and I was able to pull out the necessary information using the *** Lens app on my cell phone to report the code they need to hopefully stop this ***.These kinds of businesses should be illegal and companies that buy and sell personal address info should be fined. It's invasion of privacy!

I just received a somewhat convincing IRS lookalike form with "T-2" in the upper left-hand corner and "2021" in the upper right-hand corner.

It reads, "As a resident of New *** you are entitled to more benefits not provided by government funds. You now have access to a 2021 state-regulated program which will pay 100% of all final expenses up to $35,000. Return this postage paid card within 5 days to request this new benefit information."

Dear Sir or Madam,
In today's mail I received a form addressed to my late wife, *** A ***, who has been deceased since 2013. The outer envelope had a return address of "Records Division" PO Box 100080, Kennesaw, GA [protected] (address of Direct Mail Processing LLC, although this was deliberately omitted from the envelope). Inside the envelope was a form deceptively sized and designed to mimic a government tax document. It was titled "2021 Benefit Information For New Jersey Citizens Only," and included a statement that she was "entitled to more benefits not provided by government funds." The form also referenced "a 2021 state-regulated life insurance program which will pay 100% of all final expenses up to $35,000. Return this postage paid card within 5 days to request this new benefit information." The form solicited my wife's name, address, age and telephone number. This is the third year that Direct Mail Processing LLC has been permitted to deceptively solicit personal information in this widescale phishing scam, continuously noting in its apologies to complainants that they are simply a mail processing company representing unidentified insurance-industry "marketers."
While in its many gratuitous apologies to complainants to the BBC, Direct Mail Processing LLC notes that on this form they provide an "opt out" process from future mailings, since these mailings are all directed to senior citizens from Medicare mailing lists, it should be noted that the referenced "opt out" instructions are printed in a font size tiny enough to evade communication to its recipient demographic. Worse yet, an even more crucial sentence is deliberately and deceptively printed above the form's barcode in even smallerindeed, absurdly miniscule font sizeclearly designed to deceive Medicare recipients. It reads, not accidentally, and I will print this larger, "Not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency."
How can Direct Mail Processing LLC continue to be permitted to conduct this nationwide phishing scam let alone continue to promote a ComplaintsBoard.com rating of "A"?
Kindly see that the name of *** A *** at *** Court, *** XXXXX-XXXX is permanently removed from all mailings disseminated through DM Processing.

I received a 2020 Benefit Information Form from this company asking for my personal information (Name, Address, Phone & Age) This is clearly a phishing scam that misleads the consumer by telling them they are entitled to more benefits.

I received a 3 inch by 8 inch advertisement that mimics a government form regarding Medicare benefits . It was requesting my age,name,email,address. The advertisement was requesting my personal info and the form was mimicking a US government form.

I continually receive these letters with no phone number and only. As P.O. Box address. I am tired of receiving these harassing correspondence. I'm so tired of receiving these harassing letters for solicitation. I would like to keep this on file for record.

I received a notice from a company posing as a Government agency (Records Division, P. O. Box XXXXXX, Kennesaw, GA XXXXX) saying I have a final notice for $95,000 thru the lender: Veterans United HM LNS. My house is paid off and I want them to cease and desist from contacting me!

Recieved a "2nd notice" letter from "Records Division" in Kennesaw, GA requesting specific personal information regarding possible death benefits. I have never received a "1st notice" and they are requesting personal information without stating who they are and where these so called benefits are coming from.

I receive misleading documents that claim to obtain personal data from me. The same thing happens to me that other people have complained. As said company says it has nothing to do with the content of the documents they send me, I ask them to exclude me from receiving any other type of notification of this type.

I have asked them before to leave me alone and yet the persist in sending me their bogus government looking documents. This company will not quit sending me their bogus government looking documents. Each time I get one I reply back with a remove me on their forms and yet they persist in sending me these documents. I want them to remove me from their mailing lists.

Receive a mailing from Records Division asking for my phone number, age, spouse age, email and address. Called Social Security and they said to call you because this party has a poor rep. Also, on the envelope was second notice which it was my first. Do not like giving out my information to anyone I have not previously had contact with or a trusting agency like yours.

Unsolicited mail received although I am registered with the federal consumer Opt Out program. I have been enrolled in the Federal Consumer Opt-out program for several years, however this company still sent me unsolicited mail. When I followed the dmpoptout instructions, it stated it would be contacting me. I do not want to be contacted from this organization any more.

Like many others, I receive mail from this company that is intended to deceive recipient into thinking it is from a government entity. I have seen the other complaints and the companies response. I think their response is unacceptable. The mail is intended to perceive. Whether they are the designer or the conduit makes no difference to me. They should chose their customers better.

I received an unsolicited document in the mail meant to deceive me into thinking it was a government document. Like others, I received a document for "Washington citizens only" which looks like a tax form. It is intentionally deceptive. I don't care who they are mailing for or whether they endorse products or not - they are knowingly sending out deceptive documents intended to gather personal information.

Today November XX XXXX I received a second advertisement for life insurance from Records Division. A couple of years ago I was getting the same advertisements for life insurance from the same company but it was a different P.O. box in Kennesaw Georgia and I wrote to them and asked them to stop sending me theses advertisements. The advertisements stopped until recently when they started again in September this year.

My late mother received a notice from a Records Division out of Kennesaw, Ga 2021 BENEFITS INFORMATION FOR TEXAS CITIZENS ONLY. The return address envelope shows Direct Mail Processing PO Box XXXXXX, Kennesaw, Ga XXXXX-XXXX on April 23. They are scamming deceased Texas Citizens. There is no phone number to contact them on their letter. If they continue to send her UNWANTED MAIL, we will take legal actions against them.

I repeatedly get correspondence from this business which is trying to impersonate my mortgage lender. They try to make their mailings legal-looking, putting the name of my mortgage company front and center, and try to make this look like an official document from my mortgage company. They mark their mail "Time Sensitive" and "Second Notice" and I feel are being deceitful about the product they are selling being somehow related to my mortgage lender.

How do I know that this is a phishing scam? The fact that they "need" more than my full name and address, that's how. Then there's those scare tactics My only real dispute is that they are misrepresenting themselves, and in more than one way. The threat of paying penalties for non-compliance in signing on with Medicare, for one, and for "the rest of my life", no less. They demand that I respond by 11/24, and I just received this TODAY, which triggered more alarm bells. This is garbage. I want them treated as such. AND left alone.

This company asked for personal information. This company sent me a form akin to a government form in appearance asking for my email address, spouses name my phone number and address. In addition the company was telling me I needed to enroll in Medicare now or risk a 10% or more penalty taken directly from my social security payment "for life". I do not respond to threats of any kind, I'm a veteran and am very protective of my personal information and ANY information regarding my spouse! I do not wish to be contacted by this third rate company again and would rather see an end put to businesses that conduct themselves in such manners. NO FURTHER CONTACT!
