Dikran (George) Pilavdjian review: illegal mechanic work 1

I went to the Sunoco Gas Station (on 470 Communipaw Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07305) to see if they could do some body work. They called up Dikran Pilavdjian (973-610-9066), who self reports to be a mechanic. He does not have a valid mechanics license.

I paid for half of the repair cost up-front and he took my Nissan for what was supposed to be a week, which then became 3 weeks. He didn't replace the body parts as he claimed that he would. He simply used a hammer to reshape it and paint it over. The job was shoddy, to say the least. He promised he would get the parts needed while I took the car back. The car was also so badly painted that there are spots all over from his dirty hands.

After I took the car back and paid him, he stopped answering any calls or text messages. My car is still unfinished and I am now finding out that he drilled holes in places where he shouldn't to hold the parts together.

I have proof of the work done and a picture of his ID.
