We as prettystores.com were selling 2 sofas, 2 barcelona chairs, and 1 barcelona bench at around USD 800 totally, using high grade leather to a customer named diana wellenbrink from Seattle, and shipped the items ontime and up to standards. This woman didn't buy insurance herself, and had the items crashed by the US customs without compensation from insurance company, then she used bad reviews to threat for money from us. She is a vary bad buyer with intentions to rob from others, and we reserve the rights to take actions against her for defamation.

She wrote untrue reviews on resellerratings.com, and she is dishonest, only want to rob money from others.

Very pity for people fooled by this liar and kindness being used for her greediness:

1. For bad quality issues, see the email from this woman admiting herself explicitly: ""Last but not least the furniture is of a good quality and I would have been happy to have it in my home."

2. How much money she spent?
2 barcelona chairs with 2 barcelona ottoman in special grey color at USD 268*2=USD 536
1 barcelona long bench (180cm long) : USD 245
Florence Knoll sofa 3 seat dark: USD 310
Florene Knoll sofa 2 seat : USD 290
(6 LCW chair USD 438 refunded ontime as she delayed too long and can not catch the ship)

And because of her numerous changing mind which caused delays from the customs, there were USD 495 for additional penalty charged by the customs on us, of course she would not pay.

3. Who causes the damages? Before the shipping, we have sent pictures to show the perfect status. What we shipped to her is 100% qualified items. The damange was judged to probably happen on exams of the US customs. But what rumors this woman make was: " We sent her damaged and unqualified items."

4. Who should buy the insurance? Before the delivery from China, there was a USA shipping agent recommended to this woman, and all the shipping fee she spent was directly to this USA shipping company, not us, we were only responsible to ship the items to seaport of Seattle. As this woman was wiling to pay to her shipping agent, and took the responsibility to give instructions and authority, who shall be responsible for buying insurance for the damages happened in USA and do related jobs as she already had shipping consultant?

This story is not boring as it relects the quality of personality. If you want to damage others for the damages on your own responsibilities, and use lies to fool people for supports, the dirty purpose behind will always be disclosed finally, and all people will know what kind of person you really are.

1. It is really a good thing we had dealt with this person with such a brillient mind thinking that she changed the order for numerous times, delayed the payment for at least 10 days thus put her shipment into next month while still thought the shipping company would wait for her shipment with no need to rise shipping fee for coming peak season. Maybe we should have the same smart mind and complained to Maersk in the same way, saying:"how could you change the price from month to month, you should fix a price for me no matter when I decide to deliver my shipment, because I have such a big shipping order as it is up to 5-8CBM." For so long time, the shipping companies such as Maersk which this woman paid shipping fee directly to is keeping rising price with no listening to other voices, but they will definitely change the attitude to you, Diana, as long as you can write them as "###dy" several time, then so many people shall get benefit from your "###dy" actions, what a great Integrity, if not so "2”in our words...

2. It was not your fault, it was our fault asked by a brillient person, who wrote exactly for "LCW chairs", but changed to "DCW" later, we shall not help to change it, we shall not spend money to buy wood again and spend time to produce again for making up the 5cm, we even shall not spend shipping cost to ship them to the seaport warehouse, waiting for customs inspection, spent time for fumigation, but failed when customs rejected for delays, while costing us USD 35 per day for the storage. It totally was our fault to be kind and supportive to lead someone to think that she is a goldness so she can ask everything done in one munite, as long as in the name of buyer, of course, never expect this goldness to show any appreciation if her will is not reached no matter how much effort you have taken for her purpose.

3. Yes, you are so kind and polite. You are so kind to complain for USD 50 in the rising of shipping when the money is still in your pocket, but not rejected as you will, instead, accepted and paid, while complained again after all the items arrived, and use it as a big point to say bad of our service. You are so kind to say the items are of good quality, "more than happy to keep them in the house", while after knowing the unreasonalbe requirements were rejected, changed the tone within one second, starting spitting on numerous websites to shout as "low price leading to low quality". You are really kind to write down something dishonest using your identity as a woman and US citizen to fool others. You are most kind when you receive damaged items because your own fault, and when we and the shipping agent tried to help you cover the loss, you asked greedily for everything totally neglecting your own responsibilities. Sharing your letters with others was really a good offer from us, maybe the truth and Integrity is the most thing you lack of in your life and the last thing we can do for you.

OK, I need to stop here as I have spent another 30 munites to clean up the dirty lies for the truth . Thank godness that, in your reply, there is totally no complaint for quality any more, just as what you posted in resellerratings.com that you deleted something in your reviews which you know it was not true? Maybe you can continue this kind of actions as it is obviously from your writings that you are happy with getting thinner while lying.

By the way, elegenat and sincere lady, about point 2 in last reply, if we were not refunding you the USD 438 of the LCW chairs soon after the customs rejected combining them into shipment, you shall treat you as a poor victims of scam by Chinese, right? I am sorry we didn't leave this room for your thoughts.

I searched for reviews for barcelonachairfactory.com and found this posting. I didn't pay big attention and now I regret. If I have read carefully I would have saved the troubles of dealing with this trading website. If you are like me don't make the same mistake read it and if you still have doubts whether or not to use them read it again.

I just recently received a 36 in Black, fiberglass table, tulip style dining table that I ordered from them and it was BEAUTIFUL. Not a nick, or scratch. It was very well packaged and protected in bubblewrap, styro-foam and a cardboard box encased in a wooden frame. It arrived UPS freight and took the two pieces, table and base took less than ten minutes to put together. They even included the tools. They kept in constant contact with me, and even sent me pictures of my finished table. I couldn't be more pleased and would not hesitate to buy from them again and in fact I definitely plan to. My table traveled from China to California and then to me in Baltimore, MD., and it was well taken care of apparently to get to me in the condition that it did. I had read your review after purchasing the table and must admit, you had me worried. But it was all for nothing. This was the best, pound for pound, dollar for dollar purchase that I have ever made online and I shop almost exclusively online. My only problem is I can't decide what to buy from them next!

Firstly... Both of your language skills could be greatly improved (and do not misconstrue my comments by assuming that means I assume that mine are so much better)... Secondly, placing orders for overseas deliveries, you should always assume that some damage may occur to your item(s) (not that it's unreasonable to assume that IT SHOULD NOT BE DAMAGED)... Now, barcelonachairfactory.com, maybe if you handled your customers with a bit more humility and concern, you'd find they are much more inclined to work with you regarding matters of customer/seller relations. A business is just as likely to steal from a customer as a customer is to steal from a business. Don't ever forget that and don't pretend that you're all honest and full of love and honor... Even if you are, many people will think you're just out to take all that you can. SHOW that you're honest and fair and don't try to call every person who gives you a bad review a liar and a thief. This just makes you look like a fool, a liar, and a loser. None of these qualities makes anyone want to supply your business with their patronage.

Oh, I need again to spent time explaining few minor details:
- Shipping: " You will pay shipping fee from China to Washington seaport USD 495 to us, and USD 592 to Terri." It seems I paid money not only to US agent. Then this fee paid to directly to the website was increased "But your shipment is actually starting in April, there is a rising in the shipping fee because of the shipping season is coming, and it is USD 35/CBM, and USD 385 for 11 CBM, and USD 240 for the customs fee, and USD 20 for the warehouse in the seaport, so total is USD 645" Because I dared to ask why the fee was increased I have been called "###dy". Well if checking where my family money go is called ###dy, then I am proud as I feel the responsibility to do that.
-it was my fault that I wanted dining chairs but I was offered instead lounge chair and the slight difference of 2 inches (5 cm) was blamed again on my ###dy or was it something else, I don't remember. I am sorry I make a big deal for 2 inches exactly like the designer Charles Eames did when he designed the two versions of the chair. And If I am blamed for using a code of three letters wrong how about an invoice sent with clearly spelled word "dining chair"?
-Thank you for showing my e-mail. It proves that I tried during all our correspondence to be polite and keep with an intelligence my voice even when I screamed alone in the room. Well, your e-mailes were something else, really :) and they do not need to be published because your posting say pretty much everything. Just calling your customer even if she/he is as evel as I am a criminal, who is "robbing"?! is enough (I think and many other people think too).
-and keeping with the polite voice, I should thank you for helping me out loose some weight dealing with you. I know there are healthier ways, but ...what ever

This story becomes a little boring and tiring. It happened now over a month ago and I got over the fact that I lost money and energy because when I puchased the furniture from this website there were still no reviews. Now there are and not only mine, some good, some not that good. Well, the people that wrote the bad reviews are called criminals or trying to steal money. Luckily the interenet visitors read carefully and I surelly appreciate the many supprotive e-mails I received. Please acept my deep thankfulness to every one that took a minute of his/her time to express their opinion and to all my friends that we had a good laugh over.
Now few minor things that I wish to share with you, interenet site visitor. The mentioned price I paid to have the furniture including everything was slightly different, approximately three times more. The high grade leather is really "high" - only on the top and front of the furniture and cusions. The listed pieces of furniture are short of the 2 sofas, as correctly stated they were broken while shipping. Yes, I did not purchased insurance and well, I am sorry for my lack of experience that I was supposed to know that they are not insured when shipped over the sea. For th rest of the story you could visit the website mentioned inluding the website of seller for the full effect.
