I went to Diamonds International Grand Turk on Feb.13. I went specifically to trade in my Crown of Light Blue and white diamond ring. I understood I would have to pay double the amount of the purchase price of around 1800.00. I found one ring I really like and was told that the couldn't trade on that piece as it was on clearance. So I continued to look and found a ring with cognac diamonds. They informed me of the price and the sent it for sizing. Meanwhile looked up my credit account. I had enough credit to purchase but was having issues until I was able to use there Wi-Fi to access my account to okay it. I reminded them I wanted to trade my ring. They said they would not take it in for trade on nothing. The Carnival representative informed me they said it didn't have enough carats. Pictured is the ring I wanted to trade.
Claimed loss: 1800 trade in value
Desired outcome: Would like to have credit for the trade and would send my ring that I wanted to trade.
