As someone who enjoys watching videos online, I recently explored DailyMotion to find a platform that offers a variety of content. However, my experience was quite mixed. While I appreciated the diverse range of videos available, the overwhelming number of ads significantly detracted from my viewing pleasure. The frequent interruptions made it challenging to immerse myself in the content, and the repetitive nature of the ads became frustrating over time. Despite the potential of the platform, the intrusive ads ultimately hindered my overall enjoyment. I hope that DailyMotion can find a better balance between ad revenue and user experience to create a more seamless viewing environment for its audience.

Maybe its just my PC, but DM really s#cks the last few weeks. The videos only play in a stop/play or play/stop mode, their commercials play the same way. I've tried to contact them through the problems link but that seems to be impossible.

These guys have been nothing short of outstanding way to go Dailymotion!

This is actually one of the better alternatives to youtube. Occasionally I check out dailymotion.

Few years ago i was the daily user of this site but now it is getting complicated to use it since whatever i need is not there and its moblie application is even worst i cannot imagine to use it anymore..

Although the visuals are not precisely synchronized with the sound, the sound quality is not distorted. The sound is more important than the visuals. Keep the sound and sacrifice some of the visuals,... It's the Music... Brilliant thank you.

I love dailymotion.com because there are many videos of varying kinds that cater to many different kinds of tastes.

Registration is not that difficult and the site also has the ability to allow one to upload videos.

The site also has a parental filter ti filter out adult content from the eyes of children.

This is an excellent alternative I would think to youtube.com

The fact that they do not allow comments on their site or under their videos is very telling!

The site is laid out as platform built to allow sharing in a delightful community of video enthusiasts. But it isn't quite what it first appears.

The reason they do not encourage comments is because they have little or no interest in the feelings or opinions of their users. Their existence is to profit from us and not cooperatively share.

They thrive on the our desperation and once 'hooked', proceed to try to extract all they can from our viewing experiences.

As a child of the 80s, there are many shows of the 80s and 90s that I hold dear. Most of these are very difficult to get hold of and there lies the problem.

With so little alternatives I find myself consigned to the limited selection of viewing platforms online. Platforms that care little for the integrity of the content or quality of the viewing experience.

Dailymotion do not allow comments because they DO NOT WANT TO HEAR our opinions on the experience.

They are acutely aware of the value of the files they hold and our interest in their content. They know also how limited an access to some of this content exists so are assured of our patronage.

Watching an episode of American Gothic 1995 recently, I endured one of the worst online experiences I've ever had the miss fortune of suffering.

Painfully Enduring a succession of advertisements that diminished the pleasure, distracted from the narrative and disrupted the atmosphere. In fact for a 40-45 minute run time we endured no less than over 8 advert breaks.

Advertisements are supposed to be about selling or seducing the public into purchases of products or experiences. Something that cannot be achieved when forced upon us in such an aggressive and overly repetitive manner.

Dailymotion method of advertisements included in their videos is reflective of their entire ethos - Fishing.
Lure us, hook us and bash us with adverts.

With a collection of rare videos we cannot find elsewhere as the bait, they proceed to feed us advert after advert in onslaught.

Little care is taken to the quality (the recent episode I watched was back to front and terrible picture quality).

Some will probably say- if you don't like it, dont go on the site.

But as it's the only place I can find to watch certain shows from my youth at all there is little choice.
And I personally do not think that the fact they have these and others do not is an excuse to be so poor at what you do.

Any site that has no interest in their users opinions is one that doesn't deserve its place online.

I signed up on your site last year and complained about not showing that evening or the next day of Days of our lives which always shows "no preview" I all the time that I am so sick of this that your site doesn't even try to correct this... don't you people ever read your complaints... even when people get in touch with the BBB you lack the effort to correct this... Can you please start to check videos before putting them online ? So many are reversed left-to-right. Many are in ridiculous 'frames' which add nothing but only reduce the on-screen picture size. One of the worst offenders is your contributor "Pascalzoren", but there are many more. I have to waste hours searching for correct videos. This is very annoying, please stop it.

Generali and sky on dailymotion while watching korra:
Both ads are very loud, in the case of generali (extremely aggressive ad - violates several human rights!), huge bright red letters used to move very fast and come at you over and over again and the music is most aggressive: death metal and hardcore is very nice compared to that, something that looks like a cut off thumb in red with a black background is shown in the generali ad - it is bound to cause heart attacks in many young and old people (young people can get those too - I am sure you realise that, besides all generations have a right to watch tv online without killed!), sky gave me a headache for 2 days - that is how loud they were, both ads are much too loud. They are trying to sell products in austria: generali and sky by putting their ads into Avatar (legend of) Korra: link: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7ow81x Just because videos online are for free, does not give anyone the right to violate human health and hence human rights. The human rights court of brussels would be interested in this. Those 2 companies should be banned from advertising, esp. Generali. Honestly, if sky set their ad to no longer loud, it would not violate human rights, but generali should not be allowed to advertise after that. I know you may not be able to change that, but you can have the dignity to not allow their ads on your site. Horror movies are less terrifying than the generali ad, it is most aggressive as an ad. Ads like that are exactly why people give you, dailymotion, half a star in ratings. You need to check on companies and see the ads yourselves before you place them while watching movies and eating. Find out how it is to almost suffocated, because you choke so much when you watch the generali ad. This is against various human rights for sure. Sky is too loud, which can affect hearing and give people headaches for days, which also violates human rights, but they can still set that to a normal sound strength (half of it or less). Overly aggressive & loud ads make people hate that product and tell everyone about it to their thousands of followers on twitter and not like the products advertised. Your other ads were quiet and pleasant and I am sure people like those and will buy those products, if they need them. But, whoever saw the generali and sky ads on dailymotion will hate those companies and tell thousands of people to hate them. That's what these companies get for violating human rights of humans. - impacting their health is just that.

I am a cabin crew and someone posted my video on dailymotion without my permission I want dailymotion to remove that video... Because it is effecting me and my family plus my job. Please help.

I want to put in a complaint about this advert. Firstly as someone who is just trying to watch coronation street, I shouldn't have to be subjected to swingning dildos on the screen! But it's not even just the advert itself it's the fact it is being forced in your face every ad break as the only ad and it gets played twice in a row.. I must have been forced to see this bloody advert about 1000 times now and as a bloody single woman have no use for it anyway! Sick to the back teeth of it!

This film is a disgrace. It misrepresents and degrades Romania, its people, its traditions, its culinary reach tradition and its dignity as a nation by far. It is a vulgar, gross insult. Why Anthony Bourdain, the author of such a large and much watched movie production, went so low in this romanian presentation is a mystery only himself could and should explain. I assume his lack of knowledge and education combined with his association with a totally unfit character and foreign to Romania to play as a guide that has not the minimal knowledge and good intention for the job he was responsible for explains it all. This movie should be taken off Dailymotion at once, the same way as it was not accepted and removed from Youtube.

i googled my mobile number 07500 549... a while back. a video featuring asian children came up on the first listing. underneath was the capton."more videos for 07500 549... " the whole of my number was showing in this caption. so it does nt look like a random listing where part of your number brings up something. it was a video on dailymotion. com. i e mailed them about six times as i know they could probably help to remove this. a girl form france e mailed back for the url number but i have heard nothing since. i dont know the nature of the video because i didnt want to click on, it is called "playful kiss". i received a call from a man asking me if i make videos but i hadnt seen the problem then. as google are difficultt to get through to i will continue to report this
