Been with Cypress for like 3-4 years now
Been with Cypress for like 3-4 years now. This year they jacked up the insurance price by almost 20%. And to make matters worse, they added this nonrefundable "Convenience Fee" to squeeze even more money out of us customers. It's like they're trying to bleed us dry.
This insurance company is not good
This insurance company is not good. I live in a place that doesn't flood, but they charged me too much for insurance. Then, the next year, they raised my rate by 20%. They said they were reducing policies, so they cancelled mine. Don't use them because they might cancel you too. Find a good company that cares about homeowners and won't cancel them. I talked to someone at the company and wrote a letter to the insurance office. They just want to limit their risk and make homeowners worry about insurance. I hope they have to prove their business practices when they ask for more money. I will keep writing letters to the department.

I been with Cypress Insurance for 5 year, this my first claim for roof damage
I been with Cypress Insurance for 5 year, this my first claim for roof damage. Cypress sent a adjuster who found the same issues that the roofing company discovered. I'm getting the run around from the Cypress agent and now I've received notification that my policy will not be renewed next month. This company is absolutely horrible and their customer service is more like customer harassment.

I had a problem with mold in my crib and filed a claim on 9/5. It's already 9/27 and I still haven't heard back from them about when they'll start fixing the mold. During the crib check, they said they found water in the back of the studs and it took a bunch of phone calls for someone to come over and patch the roof. I think this company doesn't take claims seriously and doesn't have any work ethic. I keep calling my adjuster and his boss, but it's been over a week and I still don't know when they'll start fixing the issues in my living room.
