Better Business Bureau Mixed Experiences with Rouse's: A Closer Look

As a potential customer considering Rouse's, it's important to note the mixed reviews from various platforms. While some customers have highlighted positive experiences with the business, others have expressed concerns and dissatisfaction. It appears that there are issues related to customer service, trustworthiness, and overall business practices that have left some customers feeling disappointed. Before making a decision, it may be beneficial to weigh both the positive and negative feedback to form a well-rounded perspective on Rouse's.

Better Business Bureau Estate Sale by a Professional Team

RiverRunners Estate Sales conducted a sale of all our house contents in March 2021. From the beginning we knew that we were in good hands. Dennis explained their team's process and our responsibilities. All items were set up beautifully for the sale. Three days of sale were advertised and carried out according to plan. Clean-up was as promised. We were very happy with their work. Ross and Carol

Better Business Bureau TJK Plumbing/ Augies Drain Cleaning

We hired Augie's Drain Cleaning/ TJK Plumbing to clean out our bathroom drain. Daniel, our technician, was on time, courteous, friendly, efficient and had our drain cleaned out in roughly 30 minutes. Went over ways we could avoid the drain clogging again in the future, and even went above the call of duty to answer a few unrelated questions to help my husband with another project. We would definitely call TJK/Augie's again and recommend to friends and family.

Better Business Bureau Nexus Letter

Oftentimes, I know it's very difficult to try and convince the VA that your civilian doctor's opinion should mean something; especially when you're trying to increased VA disability compensation. Thanks to American Medical Experts, the civilian doctor's opinion was transformed into a language the VA can understand. Win, lose, or draw; I highly recommend their services for a job well done. Again, I was totally impressed with their services and without a doubt you got m vote!

Sincerely,

Better Business Bureau BBB is there to help you! Use it1

I Am happy we have a service such as the BBB. I buy and sell on ebay and etsy. Twice this year (2015) I was scammed (one shop on ebay and one shop on etsy) Once I was able to locat the real address of the shop on ebay, I filed a complaint. It was resolved in a few days, and I had my refund. The shop on etsy was different. It was in China. So I used Etsy address, NY, and filed against "etsy shop Best Supplies". It worked. In a few days I had my refund. Use the same complaint (copy and paste) for ever contact, Paypal, Resolution centers, etc. Any correspondence from seller, specially sellers and lame excuses why you didn't get "whatever". Use as much information when filing a complaint and the BBB does help you

Better Business Bureau Forever customer

After a monsoon storm that removed a lot of roof off the east side of our house I was lost on who to call. I noticed a neighbor that was having her roof done and it looked AMAZING. I asked her how she found them she told me she had researched roofers on BBB and Yelp and ProWest was at the top of the list with raving reviews. We had ProWest come out and look at our house, they were quick to come an get us protected from any storms that would have pop up before the roof was replaced. They replaced our roof in a quick and timely manner. All the workers were professional and treated all our concerns in a caring and professional manner. We never had to wait for call backs and they were on it every step of the way. I highly recommend ProWest to anyone who has roof problems.

Thank you ProWest for a painless experience.

Better Business Bureau Thoughtful and patient while I considered other bids. Prompt, skilled, clean, complete

Dear Tony Lucchesi (of Unlimited Heating and Cooling Inc. Elmhurst, Ill.),

Susan and I are very much pleased with the new furnace/air conditioner installation work you did at our home on April 5th of this year (2019). Prior to that day, your initial visit to our home to inspect the sites (outdoor and indoor) was complete and brief. Your bid for the job came to us two days after. Our reply, and the final signed agreement happened with you within one week, and allowed for the April 5th start.

On the job, you, your adult son, and his assistant all applied the obvious skills of many years in managing the home site HVAC work. You also were all in good humor in your dealing with one another and with us during the work at our home (including managing kindly and well our dog's initial curiosity upon your entering our home). The inside removal/installation labor in a somewhat tight furnace location spot was done well, timely, and also very cleanly. That you had a team of three made it possible to simultaneously do the job's outside compressor removal/installation/venting work in a timely way. You personally attended to the final paperwork in advance of the work done (including the two significant Nicor & ComEd rebate forms ---a nice savings for us!) in such a way that made for an un-rushed and tidy job completion.
The day had begun with you at 7:45AM, and you were done at 3:00PM (if not maybe a little sooner). This was very much how we anticipated things to go time-wise. We are very pleased with your work and enjoyed engaging with you throughout the day. We thank you for your help getting our home ready for the summer heat, and the coming fall/winter's chill. We wish you well in the busy summer work season for your company.---Jim and Susan

Better Business Bureau Better Business Bureau of Washington DC

Had I read these reviews, I would not have engaged with this BBB. Echoing the sentiment of a previous reviewer - Looking for an organization that protects consumers? Keep looking.

The BBB Board, stakeholders, or representatives should look into the wasting of funds for branches that have these types of horrific reviews. Clearly, there is an appearance of this non-profit using funds appearing to provide services when, in fact, people have had experiences with some BBB branches where the BBB branch went to extraordinary efforts to protect companies and not act as a neutral entity they stand for.

My direct unfortunate experience with BBB representative Heather Ortiz goes in line with what others have shared. Heather Ortiz was unprofessional and was especially severe in her lack of neutral decision making. In fact, after weeks of no contact and after a follow up to her, she closed the complaint for unknown reasons. There wasn't even a company response to the complaint nor was there an option for the consumer to accept or reject the company's response. Ironically - MONTHS later, Heather Ortiz randomly contacts me through the BBB platform and finally decides to send me the company's response letter they wrote MONTHS prior. In other words - Heather Ortiz withheld evidence and clearly had an interest to send the required document MONTHS after she closed the account without notice. No voice and no choice by the consumer should be their motto. Upon further review, we discovered Ms. Ortiz closed the complaint a day or so after hearing from the company and denied me the basic right to be heard or even be privy to documented response from the company. Ms. Ortiz just decided to hear the company (and/or follow their instructions to her) and not follow the BB's own procedure to give the consumer the right to accept or reject the company's response (by giving the response to the consumer) - isn't this the point of the BBB? Ms. Ortiz never apologized, never explained why she was sending the company's lettered response MONTHS after she closed the account - she just sloppily emailed me the company's letter. More than likely, Ms. Ortiz was acting on behalf of the Allegiance Plan Benefit, a subsidiary of Cigna, by suddenly sending a letter they penned months before, otherwise, in a neutral professional capacity, Ms. Ortiz would have just sent the document MONTHS prior. Ms. Ortiz took the path of least resistance and took clear advantage of the consumer. Clearly, Ms. Ortiz certainly did not act within conduct the BBB tenets stand for. First closing the account suddenly after she was asked for an update (appears retaliatory for the consumer asking for an update), then Ms. Ortiz withheld evidence, then she randomly sends the evidence MONTHS later with no explanation. These are the actions only a large corporation would benefit from because MS. Ortiz's position was to serve and protect them. Regardless of excuse, her conduct was unjustifiably inappropriate by all measures. This behavior exhibited by Ms. Ortiz would be sanctioned anywhere else. In this case, don't be a Non-profit reaping the many, many benefits afforded to Non-profits if you actually work for the business's interests, as was the case in this situation.

Better Business Bureau DON'T BOTHER-RELYING ON THEIR REVIEWS WILL COST YOU MONEY

I NEED TAXES DONE. I READ REVIEWS, REGRETFULLY BBB'S OF OPTIMA TAX, A+ RATING.
I HIRED THEM AND BEFORE I FINISHED "PHASE 1" THINGS HAD GONE TO HELL. OPTIMA HAS NO OFFICE IN N.CA. ALL WORK IS DONE ON PHONE/COMPUTER. THEY CLICK THROUGH PAGES AT LIGHT SPEED, THEN SAY "SIGN". THERE IS NOT EVEN A FAKE EFFORT TO ENABLE "READING" THE CONTRACTS. I ASKED MY "PERSON" 3 TIMES TO SEND ME CONTRACTS PRIOR TO SIGNING.
HE IGNORED ME. I SIGNED, TO GET AWAY FROM THIS GUY AND MOVE ALONG TO "PHASE 2".
I GOT SCREAMING VOICE MAILS DAY AFTER SIGNING-GUESS HE DOESN'T KEEP UP W/EMAIL. EMAIL'S SAID I'M THROWN OUT IF I DON'T CALL BACK. HE WAS OUT OF CONTROL-I'D CALL NXT DAY. HE DID THROW ME OUT, IMMID. AFTER THAT HE CHARGED MY CARD 4,000.00, W/O NOTICE OR RECEIPT TO ME. I WAS LEAVING THIS A+ BBB RATED FIRM AND I WANTED A REFUND. REFUNDS DO NOT [protected]@ OPTIMA. I HAD TO MEET W/EXECUTIVE BOARD. THIS WAS LONG PHONE CALL W/A HYPER ACTIVE PIT BULL. HE OFFERED GREATLY REDUCED REFUND OF CHARGE THAT WAS MADE 3 DAYS AGO. I DECLINED, HE BADGERED. I NEEDED MY 4,000.00 BACK. I'M OLD AND LIVE ON S.SEC. IT'S OPEN SEASON ON ANY ONE W/MONEY. HIS FINAL OFFER WAS I HAD TO GIVE HIM 300.00 DOLLARS TO GET MY REFUND. EXTORTION I BELIEVE. I REFUSED TO SIGN, DIDN; T LIKE BEING RIPPED OFF. FAST FORWARD 1.5 YRS, NO TAXES DONE AND 4 MONTHS OF DEALING W/A JERK WHO PUT A GAG ORDER ON ME. IE HIS OPENING WORDS "WE'D LIKE TO OFFER YOU 300.00 DOLLARS AS A COURTESY". MY HEAD EXPLODED. THEY NOW OWED ME 7K! I COULD NOT BELIEVE THEY WERE PULLING THEIR EXTORTION CRAP... AGAIN! I'M A NEW YORKER. CURSING SOMEONE OUT IS AN ART AND NO ONE GET UPSET. NOT SO W/O. TAX CHIEF WIMP. HE PUT ME ON A "GAG ORDER". REFUSED TO SPEAK. I HAD TO WRITE ALL COMMUNICATIONS. I WROTE HIM HE COULD GET LOST. I WANTED A DIFFERENT CONTACT "EXEC" WIMP. BBB ACTUALLY HELPED ME FIGURE OUT WHAT HE WAS DOING. I MADE A COMPLAINT TO BBB ABOUT OT, AND MY EXEC WIMP WROTE BACK "I HAD QUIT OT AND THEY WERE NO LONGER DOING BUS. W/ME. BBB SENT ME A COPY OF MY C/O W/HIS RESPONSE. I REPLIED HE WAS LYING, I SAID I WANTED A NEW CONTACT EXEC, I WASN'T DONE GETTING BACK MY MONEY. I TOLD HIM THE SAME. HE IGNORED ME. I CALLED THE OFFICE FOR 3 WEEKS, ASKED FOR HIS MANAGER. NEVER GOT A CALL. BUT, EVERY TIME I CALL I HAD TO GIVE MY BIRTHDAY SOC.SEC #.! HE WROTE AFTER 3 WKS OF CALLS. HE OFFERED FAR LESS THAN I WAS OWED. I WAS DONE W/HIM. THEN MONDAY MONEY FROM OT WAS IN MY BANK ACCT! I HAD DECLINED ALL HIS ROTTEN OFFERS, BUT HE SLIPPED THIS MONEY IN MY ACCT. I SENT IT BACK. IF I ACCEPT HIS MONEY OT WOULD CLAIM "ACCORD AND SATISFACTION" AND THEIR SMALL REFUND WOULD LEGALLY PAY OFF THEIR BILL, I'M WORKING W/GOVERNMENT AGENCIES-THEY ACCEPTED MY C/O, BUT WHO KNOWS. I DON; T HAVE THOUSANDS FOR A LAWYER. THEY HAVE 7, OOO. 00 DOLLARS-MORE THAN 1/4 OF MY YEARLY INCOME, BUT FAR SHORT OF ANY THING A LAW FIRM WOULD BE INTERESTED. I'M NOT DONE. DISCUSTED. I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED A BUSINESS SO DISHONEST WHO HAD NO INTEREST IN WORK, JUST GETTING MONEY ANY WAY THEY COULD. AVOID THEM. GO TO HR BLOCK. OT WILL NOT HELP YOU. DO NOT BELIEVE BBB'S SCORES. THEY REFUSED TO PRINT THE LAST 2 OF MY REVIEWS B/C OT SAID NO! BBB'S DISHONEST REVIEWS AIDED MY HORROR OF ENTANGLEMENT W/OPTIMA TAX. A NIGHTMARE, NOT A TAX FIRM.

I'M A 72 YO REGISTERED NURSE SINCE 1973. GOT A LAW DEGREE IN1986. I WORKED TO PAY FOR MY AND MY SONS EDUCATION. I'M A GRAND MOTHER.

Better Business Bureau Fraud company

100% fraud company

Gill's home repair

They make promises they do not keep,
They change rules and screw with your pay.
The owner will not meet you face to face... only way of contact is thru email or text, or the occasional phone call.

There are 100 other companies out there that do the exact same type of work and pay 3 times as much.
If you are dumb then apply. You will soon get an education that you never knew existed.

You will work to pay him, and for his toys and vacations. You will be harassed over deadlines on jobs given to you 2 days before there are to be completed.
You are harassed if you don't except a job that is in your area, don't matter if you do not have the equipment, experience, or help to complete it.

If your late expect the minimum of a 50percent deduction in your pay and another 10 dollars a day till its complete. And wait there's more. If the client company suppling, dirigo with work fines him, you pay that penalty to. You may work as a sub contractor and call yourself a business owner but when working here, you don't own nothing you are in charge of nothing. You are expected to work everyday, mainly because you get work so late that sometimes it ends up do on the weekend. So if you want to avoid friends, family, camping, vacations and want a stressful life and no money. By all means apply here

If you want to feel human and like you own something and wanna be proud of it, run away from this place as fast as you can, and don't look back.

Communication is key they say. But don't matter what you say. Your wrong. It's a company that runs on the ideals of its my way or the highway. And the famous slogan I've heard said to people by people who have worked here, and I'll quote them

"YOU HAVE A HIGH VOLUME OF WORK, NOW YOU AREN'T GOING TO MAKE MONEY ON EVERY JOB, BUT IF YOU DO ENOUGH IT MAKES UP FOR IT AT THE END OF THE WEEK"

Now I understand that, but that is when they need to stop cutting the pay down into basically 3rds on most things.

Cause it works like this 1/3 for them, 1/3 for the company, and 1/3 for the employee

So example 90 dollar recut on a lawn mow
Under ***sf you'd get 25 dollars
Up to ***sf you'd get 30
Over ***sf but no more than an acre 35 dollars

Forget a picture? Forget to prove the lawn was over 2inches? Forgot to use there app to load photos? Now you lose money... 2hr drive to go retake that picture... now your in the hole

Partially your fault yes... but if the pay was there you could absorb that with no problems.
But the kicker is when your out on the job and you complete it on time and turn it in. Now it comes back and says you didn't so this and this. Your now standing there scratching your head cause your looking at the work order you printed and the one they kicked back to you, and what do you see? That it is now different it's been changed cause they forgot something, but you have to go back, fix it and not get paid for it.

So once again turn and run, tell all your friends to stay away, and never talk to them. They are the black plaque of the property preservation industry.

Worst part about it I've never worked for them. These are the things I've heard from friends who have and other property preservation companies that here the name dirigo property services and laugh and tell you your dumb if you ever work for them.

So make your choice carefully it may haunt you!

Better Business Bureau ServPro services - Flooding of master bedroom, master bedroom closet, living room and dining area

This was an ongoing issue - starting early May (9th first email) to July 12th.

ServPro Martin County - [protected]

I thought this company would be good for all services ServPro provides.

I found that after several months of drying out my place, getting Mold Co. to take care of mold, and then restoration would be good since they are close to where I live.

Unfortunately, this company constantly wanted to be paid in advance for their services of restoration, etc.

Due to trying to get the insurance company to pay in advance and then when that didn't work, they wanted me to give them a credit card for the payment. I told them not to put any money on that card.

I was told it would take approximately 2 weeks to restore everything after the mold restoration was complete.

I believe this company escalated problems in my place by taking so much time bickering with the insurance co. and then asking me for a credit card.

I cancelled their service 7-12-23 and cancelled the credit card # I gave them.

I spoke with Dean [protected] about this - he shows as "owner" but said he was the manager not the owner.

I just wanted "buyer" beware of this company as I believe it is unethical and caused me to have more higher electric bills, and possibly added to mold issue because of delays.

I chose ServPro in Boca Raton - they have been very responsive and are waiting for approval to restore my unit. They are rated on your website as A+ and I believe they deserve it. They told me after approval it would only take 2 or 2 1/2 DAYS not 2 weeks.

Thank You,

Desired outcome: I just want to let others know that they should beware of what this company tells them, and how they do business, wanting money up front and my credit card. On a scale of 0 - 5 they get a 0 from me.

Better Business Bureau Residential house floor support

I hired Javier Leyva, DBA Quality Crawlspace, for floor support repair at my home residence. I paid him $4,741.56 to install ten (10) floor supports to make my house flooring more stable. The work was performed in March 2022. After the supports were installed, my living and dining rooms had a crown or hump in the central portion of the floor.

I think that Javier Leyva has the experience and knowledge to resolve flooring issues. He showed-up to determine the problem and make the estimate. Then, his workers, the 3 stooges, show-up to do the work without his supervision. I didn’t see him again until it was time for him to collect money for the work.

From March through November 2022, he made several trips to adjust the floor jacks to correct the problem, but I still have a crown in the center of my living and dining rooms. After his last adjustment in November 2022, he never responded to my requests to correct the problem. In January 2023, I hired another flooring contractor to correct the problem. He made some adjustments to correct the crown in my living and dining rooms, which is better. It still may need some additional supports to correct the problem that Quality Crawlspace caused.

I regret that I didn’t file this complaint sooner. I should have filed it after his last adjustment in November 2022 when I realized that he wasn’t going to correct the problem that he created. Over the last several months while looking at the crown in my floor, I decided that I needed to file a BBB complaint to keep someone else to falling into his smooth-talking trap.

Desired outcome: I do not expect any money to be returned for his effort. I just want future consumers to be aware of him and I would not recommend Javier Leyva, DBA Quality Crawlspace for any house flooring repairs.

Better Business Bureau Precepts for living sunday school lesson errors

On February 13, 2023, I purchased The UMI Annual Commentary [protected] from The Urban Ministries Inc. of P.O. Box 4870, Chicago, Ill. [protected]. I paid $23 for this book. I am a teacher of Sunday School, and I teach Sunday mornings at 8:30AM on Zoom; and 10:00AM in my church, Union Baptist Church in Dover, De. Upon my attempt to teach on Sunday Morning March 26, 2023, at 8:30AM, I discovered that the lesson I had prepared differed from the lesson the student hand books, for the same company. The lesson in the student book was the lesson for April 2, 2023. On Monday, March 27, 2023 I called Urban Ministries' customer service and spoke with a gentleman who gave is name as Noah. I explained my problem to Noah. Noah indicated that Urban Ministries was aware of the issue and that there were further discrepancies for May, as well. Noah indicated that there was a notice on their web site of the issue, and promised to send an email to me alerting me exactly of the dates of the other issues as well as have a supervisor call me back. On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, after not hearing from anyone from Urban Ministries, I called back and this time spoke to a supervisor who indicated her name was Abagail. Abagail indicated that all the books were incorrect and that it would not do any good for her to send me another. I inquired about the student book so that I would be able to follow along; Abigail indicated the student bood was wrong as well, and offered nothing else.

Desired outcome: I would like for Urban Ministries to either send me a corrected book, or return my $23 as I did not get what I paid for or ordered. The current book makes it difficult for me to teach without know what to teach.

1. If you still want the product, we can resend your order, but this time we need to charge some money for our loss of the product and the first shipping fee.
2. If you would like a refund, we can refund you, but we have to minus the shipping fee and the loss of the product from the refund.

They are trying to charge me because my item was lost or not delivered to me. I had free shipping so I should not be charged for redelivery. They want to charge a "loss of the product" from the refund. I feel this is unacceptable since none of this is my fault. I believe they are fraudulently trying to get more money from their customers.

Desired outcome: FULL refund of product $34.41$29.00 Discount 9TH7E2 - $1.45 Shipping Insurance $0.87 Shipping $5.99 Total USD $34.41

Better Business Bureau Payment not received

Unfortunately, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding horrible communication, care, and support I’ve received over the last couple of months with support representatives, their supervisors, and claims adjusters. I’ve called time and time again to reach and talk through my issue with an understanding that Florida has just had a hurricane come through and are busy. I get it. At this point I’ve lost faith in the staff and management. The lack of accountability and trust is the driving force behind my anger with UPC Insurance. To make a long story short, our original claims adjuster, Deb Martin (License #W699406) was great. UPC transferred her to another department in which she seized all communications during the restoration period. The adjuster (Christian Ramsey) who was reassigned to our claim completely screwed this up and mis-interpreted our Final Supplement Letter and closed our claim when we were still owed our recoverable depreciation for both the mitigation claim and restoration claim. I tried to reach out to Christian for several weeks and it turns out that "he's no longer with the company." After Christian was taken off our claim UPC was unable to assign another adjuster for over a month. This is with 2 to 3 phone calls in a week to UPC Support inquiring about when the new adjuster would be issued. I knew nobody was actually putting notes on my account because I kept getting the answer; "An adjuster hasn't been issued because your claim has been closed." I KNOW! "I've spoken and emailed your support and claims department regarding this issue." We are owed close to $10,000 of recoverable depreciation which is not including an additional supplement claim that I’ve been trying to address for almost 3 months which we had to pay $3,500 "out-of-pocket expense" for the restoration to proceed. But I can't get anybody to reach out and introduce themselves and acknowledge that I exist. I am open to having a conversation with someone who has the time and accessibility to research this matter. At this point though I feel the need to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and The NC Attorney Generals Office to put on record that I need help.

Desired outcome: The remaining portion of our recoverable depreciation and the supplement claim processed and issued.

Better Business Bureau Illegitimate business entity - evasion of state business laws

I would like to file a complaint against a business that is running under a disguise of a legit entity. The business is under the name "A-1 Groceries" and is located at "2919 Arlington Dr, Alexandria, VA 22306, United States" and the phone number is "[protected]". It is known that a person named "Mian Zulfiqar" is the owner but in fact the registration of this business is under a false name. The business is a scam where EBT, Food Stamps and other state sponsored programs are handled with neglect. Customers are given non-food items and cash payments in return of state issued subsidies. Also, I have noticed, there are employees hired on cash that have no proper paper work to work there. Please investigate this business since they are evading state laws and have a bad influence of other legit businesses in the area.

Thank you

Desired outcome: Complete investigation in regards to the legality of this business.

This scumbag now is a defendant in a civil case brought by the Ohio Attorney General's office.

https://cpdocket.cp.cuyahogacounty.us/CV_CaseInformation_Summary.aspx?q=ZslM676jxW-h3rubCuUMSg2.

I gave him 1/2 down to expand my driveway. He never performed the work or provided a refund. Sued him in Small Claims and won judgement against his LLC, but that only insulated him against my ability to collect against him personally.

Better Business Bureau-I had ordered three light bulbs that were cameras. However, they did not work with my system and the company {Bulbcam360} did not mention this up front. Then they had 30-day refund policy. When I contacted them, they tried everything for me not to return them. I finally got them to tell me how to return them. I sent them back and thy received them on March 19. Now they keep telling me that the refund is still pending, and I haven't heard from them since. Is there anything else I can do to get them to respond?

Better Business Bureau Luminess Cosmetics

Placed order on 1/10 for Breeze. Received email stating it was on it's way a few days later. Email had no tracking number so I called today to get a tracking number since my card was charged. I finally after numerous (at least 20) attempts got a live person on the phone. I asked about the tracking number and told there isn't one, so I asked him to call the warehouse where the order may have shipped from to get it and he told me he couldn't do that and that it shipped and would be here. I explained to him that they had taken the money for the order and should be able to give me a tracking number and he hung up on me. Extremely concerned not just about that but also further charges from what I am reading. At this point I want the order cancelled and my money refunded. This is not the type of company I care to do business with at all.

Desired outcome: Cancel all of order(s) and refund the $47.01 I was charged. Also cancel any automatic future orders as I do not want to be a part of this.

Better Business Bureau Palm coast builders license number 19676

Palm Coast Builders license number 19676 agreed to renovate my condo at 2C Marsh Harbor, SC 29907 June 29th 2021.
In October we met at our new house to discuss renovating it at 591 Sams Point Rd. in Beaufort SC.
Water damage was done by Hargray cable when they came to install the cable service and stepped on the main water line. Hargray has accepted fault for the water damage and agreed to cover the costs.
We requested a new contract and but never received the contract for the new address or the bid for repair that the Liberty Mutual's appraiser representing Hargray, has been requesting for 4 weeks.
The house isn't livable, so we have had to rent an rv costing $4500 per month as well as any cost to keep the rv runniong.

Desired outcome: get my deposit of $40,000 back as well as the new appliances they have at they're workshop

Better Business Bureau Mostly better business with corporate world and mass surveillance

Like any other trust promise site which pretends to be fair and a trusted platform, BBB silences negative reviews with vague reasons like full name required or 'beyond' their scope or location/area.
The automated emails from their server have tracking pixels that are usually used by hackers to collect personal data such as device details, IP address, location and time.
Customer service is non existent. They fail to be a complaint bureau for us, the consumers.

Desired outcome: Be fair and stop mass surveillance

Finally received an email that claims there was nothing illegal about tracking pixel.

"Given the ease with which any user can employ email tracking without any assistance from the I.T. or compliance departments, it’s likely that most corporate compliance departments are unaware that email tracking is causing their employer to collect such protected personal data." ~ gdpreu.org

BBB closes complaints just after receiving first responses from the businesses, however irrelevant those responses could be including 'someone will be in touch with you' or 'we are looking into this', even you state that you are not satisfied with those!

Better Business Bureau They do not handle complaints fairly.

We had a legitimate complaint against Saratoga Potato Chips. The company replied and we were not allowed to respond back to their final response. We feel that BBB took the position of the company instead of being a neutral party. They are supposed to allow the consumer a chance to reply to each response. The Northern Indiana Branch did not do this. They basically allowed the company a chance to cover up their situation and never let us respond with evidence. We had taken a video after receiving a bag of chips with glass chards. The company also has a review stating glass chards had been found by another family. They also have had violations in the past for mislabeled bags of chips which had allergens. They had Kroger chips Mesquite Barbecue which had Cheddar Cheese chips inside instead. This poses and allergy risk for consumers. BBB did not permit us to add our review evidence as needed. We just wanted to inform others.

you are aware that they need time to analize the complaint and assess what the company says? if it states closed then that means the company has complied with the complaint. it maybe a glitch so just keep checking it. if they closed it you can contact BBB and ask why you cant respond to the answer.
