Corel Draw 2019 Support Failure
I am a multi-decade user of Corel Draw. I recently upgraded from Corel Draw X6 to Corel Draw 2019 which works under Windows 7. I have legacy hardware and software that requires use of Windows 7. I have been through hardware and software nightmares with Windows 8 + 8.1 which Microsoft has dumped for Windows 10 which is designed for internet surfing and consumer goofing around. Corel Draw 2019 locks up in the Print module, rendering the software useless. Tech Support after multiple requests for system reports tells me to upgrade to Windows 10. The software is sold under Windows 7 compatibility. Support refused to give me a patch or another recent version that is compatible with Win 7 and gave me the run around to a supervisors phone number that would not answer. I called Corel Corp headquarters in Ottawa Canada and was looped thru a system designed to get rid of inquiries.
Corel Corp has 3 options:
1) Provide a patch for Corel Draw 2019 so that it works with Windows 7.
2) Replace my Corel Draw 2019 with a Corel Draw version since X6 that is functional under Windows 7.
3) Refund my upgrade purchase price and I will send back the DVD and uninstall the software.
Apparently Corel Corp is a black wall of nothing and has decided to go out of business. Meanwhile users are treated like so much garbage. Time to get this corporation to obey international trade law or lose their ability to make sales in the US.
