This company is a scam, yet Gulf News Appointment has placed many job ads on behalf of them despite of many people complaining about their scam.
please dont give them 100 dhs or 150 dhs which they usually ask for, they are only making money on you.
They do not have any real jobs to offers anyone, they just make up fake interview calls and ...you are never selected by the client!..

I have live in UAE more than 20 years and have seen agencies like these steal your money by running 'illegal' business of charging you any kind of fees, before you visit such agencies please read this ..

"Recruitment Agencies warned against collecting fees from job-seekers
The Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Labour, Humaid Bin Deemas, said that it is illegal to collect fees from jobseekers as it is against the Labour Law and agencies getting into such practices will be shut down.
Bin Deemas mentioned that charging fee from job-seekers for acting as a broker between employers and the job-seeker is considered illegal not only under the law of UAE, but also under the international law and the ministry has the right to shut down all agencies involved in such an act.
The Minister of Labour, Dr. Ali Abdullah Al Ka’abi, has expressed anger over the manner in which such recruitment agencies are operating and mentioned that any individual who has fallen as a victim to such agencies should report to the ministry immediately. As an initiative to stop such practices, the Ministry has stopped granting licenses to any new companies for two years."

I received a call from Core Elements last week at around 7pm - which I thought was a little strange for a 'recruitment' agency to call at a time like that - and a soft spoken lady (possibly from India) said I had an interview the next day at 10.30am. Apparently my CV had been shortlisted and the company was a JAFZA construction company and my CV just so happened to be short listed. Up until that point, I was pretty happy considering I've been looking for a job since October. However, when I started asking questions like salary, name of the company and who was I meeting with, the lady couldn't give me an answer and brushed me off with a "um..I'm not sure you just go for the interview and they will explain".

Anyway I received an sms on my phone telling me where to go but something just didn't sit right with me, so I didn't go. The next day I called the same number (+[protected]) to say I couldn't make it (out of courtesy and curiosity considering no one called to find out why I didn't show for the interview) but no one answered.

On Thursday (20th Jan) I received two missed calls from another number (+[protected]) and when I tried to call back - twice! - it was just blank, no dial tone, nothing. That same number just called me again, about half an hour ago. So I answered - it was a well spoken Filipino sounding lady telling me I had an interview tomorrow at 4.30pm, my CV has yet again been shortlisted and my interview is somewhere on SZR. After typing in the number on Google, I came across this website - I'm pretty furious at this point because I think it's pretty disgusting how they can go around telling people they have interviews and then expecting us to pay with false hopes and promises. I just tried calling back and no one's answering.

We need to put a stop to this so that others out there don't get hurt by these guys. I know the police have a scam number to call them and I think people need to start doing that and set these guys straight, once and for all.

Hello everyone,
I received call today from this company core-element, at 10:30 am as they offered me two excellent jobs located in dubai and abu dhabi, then the lady ( Indian accent ) told me : the offers are good & I may earn 9000 aed up to 13000 aed amonth ( depends ) on my skill and profession experiences, so I was excited and very motivated to for it, but my first note that she asked me to come for interview tomorrow ( which is Friday ) and from my experience in this country, that no recruitment office, company or anything relevant to this sort of business would work on Friday and around 99% of the companies in the country are off for weekend, so i passed this note, then in my lunch break, i said hmmm let me check their website for more knowledge and after loooooooong searching, , I found this website & went through the posts here I worried then I called them again to ask if I am going to pay any fees for the interview or membership or paying any fees for any procedure, the lady told me NO sir, you pay anything, so I felt like it's only ( change in scamming strategy ) and later on after after doing the interview they will call me to say : Congratulations, you have passed the initial interview and if you would like to pursue with us you must pay blablabla ... so they will not ask you to pay in advance & definitely somehow they will try to trick the candidate to pay later, , so after seeing all posts here and they are all reasonable notices for me, my opinion about this Core-element company : This company and their staff knows how to play on labour regulations pretty good and they have calculated carefully & professionally everything they do or say and no regular person or job seeker can put them in troubles for the next 100 years as I can predict, but what comes around goes around and one day they will pay dearly for playing on rules & fooling needy people & ripping off their blood & sweat money .
(((( DO NOT GO THERE, YOU ARE WARNED ))))

Dear Sir / Madam

I am in Dubai on a visit visa for a job hunt. On Monday I received a call from the number [protected] where a lady asked me to come for an interview on Tuesday. She asked me the time that is convenient to me and I said 10 Am and she said to come over at that time. When I asked her the job position I am called for and address details, she did not tell anything about it but said I will be send a text message containing all the information.

Later that day I got a message from the same number that gave the address of the said place which is :-

Core Elements Management Consultancy
Office # 2309, 23rd Floor
Grosvenor Commercial Office Tower, same tower as Noor Islamic Bank
Before Crowne Plaza Hotel
Sheikh Zayed Road ( near world trade center metro station )
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Contact number :- [protected]/[protected]

Interviewer : Ms Sheikh

I was suspicious from the beginning so searched the internet and got to know the fraudulent activities of the client.

Please let me know as to how could i assist the Government against such Company.

Yours Sincerely

Thanks Guys! After reading all those comments i am convinced that this is really a scam. I was approached for an interview and only after reaching there i realized that they were actullay consultants offering jobs for a fee, luckly i did not have sufficent cash in hand, otherwise i also would have been a victim. I went to this agency myself yesterday.
First of all, we all were waiting for 2, 5 hours (!) for an interview. I wanted to leave but due to the fact that I came from Abu Dhabi particular for this interview, decided to stay.
The interview was hold by a lady called Melisa, even though during our telephone conversation she said that I would be interviewed by the client (!) She re-asked me about my cv, said that they have a client who is an international company based in Jabel Ali. If I want to get a job I should pay 300 dhs (!) for CoreElements to add valuable points to my cvs and add the cover letter. I refused to pay and left. Melisa said that they will get in touch with me within a week or so.
If there are so many people who already were cheated by this company, why DED does not shut it down?

It looks like Core Elements did not yet learned their lesson as I received a call and SMS yesterday regarding an interview for a client at the Free Zone. Same story I have read in lots of the complaints. They had a whole list of positions within this company and it sounded the company does everything from IT to construction. Happy I did some internet research to find out this scam and I wonder if anyone already got it's money back.

Dear All,

I've written in this Blog before and asked if anyone would be interested in reporting this company's fraudulent dealings. I have personally approached the Department of Economic Development of Dubai and have filed a complaint. Although I haven't paid Core Elements anything, they had lied to me about the position they had interviewed me for.
I got a call today from the DED saying that they had fined Core Elements for their "Unfair & unclear" method of advertising for their CV rewriting service. They have been fined AED 5, 000, and they are returning any money taken from people who file complaints.

If you have been scammed and have already paid money to Core Elements, just call the DED on [protected], file a complaint against them, and the DED should be able to get your money back.

Good luck all, and thanks for voicing your complaints!

Dear All,
I have received a call from [protected]. Same question whether I have ever received a call from core elements? when i said no, the lady informed me that i have been selected for a position for a company based in Jabel Ali and asked me which time is suitable for me to come to interview tomorrow. anytime between 9 to 7.
now i am sure they will ask me for money when i go there.
2 years back same thing happen with me, when i visited their sheikh Zayed road office at the referred time, the lady at reception asked me to wait in a room. after waiting for 30 min no one appeared and i have asked the lady, she asked me to wait and after waiting for almost 1 hr i lost my patient and left the office. she told politely that someone from the agency will call for reschedule my interview and i told in front of atleat 25 people sitting there "No thanks. I am no more interested to deal with the people who doesnot have value for time".
I am sure if i go there tomorrow, same thing will happen and definitely I will fight with someone of them... better avoid it.

I've had a similar incident, though I didn't make any payments. However, they turned out to be fraudulent to the bone!
I intend to call the Dubai Chamber of Commerce about this, would any of you be willing to make a statement about this? we can blog and complain all day about it, but they'll still be doing it to others! this blog was started back in march 2009, and they were still willing to interview and attempt to scam people me December 2010!

If anyone is interested, please respond to this blog.
Thanks

They are absolutely, 100% fraudulent. I tried asking questions during the phone call and she would not answer them appropriately. For example I asked for a job description and she said she could not give me one. I asked where she had received my CV, she could not tell me. I asked for the job title and she recited my previous job title word for word, a job that was VERY specialised and does not even exist in Dubai (trust me, I have looked). I asked for contact details and she could not give me any. Upon receiving the SMS I attempted to contact them on the three numbers supplied and ALL THREE did not work, even the number that message came from.
I googled them regardless and thankfully people have commented on their deceitful and illegal behaviour and I have saved some money from going into crooks hands.

Aria is most definitely working for them, or has some sort of benefit for defending them. Truthfully I have not heard of a single job placement from this company. A real recruiter NEVER, EVER asks for money - they receive their compensation directly from the EMPLOYER as a percentage of YOUR salary.

DO NOT waste your time, money and energy on CORE ELEMENTS. DON'T FALL FOR IT!

Sadly, i recently went for an interview with Core Elements without going online and checking out this company and ppl's comments. I thought that it was just a recruitment company, what's there to check, right? In my case they robbed 300AED off of me. I must have looked rich considering all the other comments say they were charged 150AED.
Aria, do you work for them honey? Or are you writing on behalf of the company? Is that why you are defending their crimes? And yes i assure you that it is a crime to rob ppl like this. The poor girl sitting in the interview next to me came all the way from Ras al Khaimah for this interview. Now that's sad. Playing with people's lives and hopes for the bread on their tables, is a crime.
Points to me noted about them, 1st. They had no appointments for anyone. Just a bunch of people showing up in line to be interviewed. 2. They had no idea about your CV, your work experience, education or what you are even looking for. 3. Yes, they offer you a dream job and make it seem as though their "client" is dying to interview you and that "the salary" is not an issue to them (like really, in this recession) 4. They get really nervous around the point where they ask you for the money. (Core Elements if you are reading, these tips are a good point of practice for you to note)
Now listen here Aria, if the Ministry of labor says that it is illegal in the UAE under the UAE law and under the International laws, to charge anyone before actually getting them the job, then i think that pretty much says it all. I don't even believe for one second that Core Elements will call me, do you know why? Because I tried calling the number which they gave me to call, and it is constantly disconnected.
With all said and done, I don't blame them. At all actually. I only blame myself for being as stupid as to go to their office before researching them online. For all of you who are smarter than me and are doing your research now, please don't make my mistake. They really are a fraudulent company.
