Cool Event Fun Run review: Postponed/cancelled event scam

I registered “Free” bubble run event in 2023 January, it’s supposed to happen in June 2023 in St.Louis, in order to register it has venue fees and insurance and taxes for $40+, I paid and registered it.
Then later early June they postponed the event. Once I received their email about postpone the event, I replied back to them about I am requesting a refund, I read on their website, at that time if the event date was changed due to circumstances, we could either choose to defer or refund the credits, so I email them pretty quickly to get the refund. But they never replied my emailS.
And in the end, it didn't happen in St.Louis either in 2023, nor in 2024.
The website did not event show any event in 2024.
So the email they sent before about rescheduling to 2024 was a lie.
It's like a scam, they stated in the email saying my registration will still be good in 2024, but no event happened here . And they never responded me.
It’s a scam! And now CE Fun Run send me another email for a “Free” muddy run, they are keeping to scam people!
