Some of BJ's and Sam's Club stores allow this company to use them to obtain leads. The same stores allowed the predecessor to Construction Pros, Proconstruction, to also use them for the purpose of obtaining leads. THEY SHOULDN'T! Proconstruction went bankrupt one year ago leaving numerous BJ's and Sam's Club customers with nothing but empty wallets and high blood pressure. Read the complaints for both companies. They are the same only the name of the company has changed. The owners of Construction Pros, Brian and Elsa Apollonio, operate from a metal shed, hire illegal imigrants, demand that everyone be hired as an independent consultant (no unemployment insurance, social security, paid vacations, medical insurance, overtime, days off) while at the same time they have bought a new Corvette, motor boat, joined a fancy new club, bought a new home and are expecting a new baby. They treat their employees just like their customers. You are not a customer, you are a victim. Whatever it takes, they will get your money and will do anything to maximize it Stay away from this company and these horrible people

This is the same address as Construction Pros. The public address is 1 East Market Street Hyde Park, NY #253 (this the US Post Office and the P.O. Box Number). The listed owner is Jason Tabor an individual who is a partner with Brian Apollonio in Pro Wash.

Brian Apollonio states that I am a disgruntled exemployee. How insulting! He thinks he knows me - OK. I give you permission to post my W2/1099 on this site. Go ahead - do it. If I have one than I must have been an employee. If you don't, then you are just misinforming the general public one more time.
Brian Apollonio and his partner, Vincent Simmons put Prostruction out of business in 2010 wether he wants to admit it or not. Go to all the complaint sites for this company and see for yourself. Why anyone would want to do business with this company is a mystery to me. There must be 100 home improvement companies in The Hudson Valley and most have got to have a less disturbing background

Look at the post that begins - Yes Geoffrey. Review it and see how Owner BrianA refutes ownership of Prostruction USA. Now go to the following website -
prostructionusa.com/main.php?page=news
I am not a psychiatrist so I can not clinically state what Owner BrianA's condition is. The article clearly reveals he is the owner of Prostruction USA.
Now look at the post that begins - Also in regards. Review it and see how he claims Construction Pros is in Building B.when, in fact, Prostruction USA was in Building B in a completely different address in Pleasant Valley.Again, I am not a psychiatrist!
When you as a customer hire a home improvement contractor you enter into a legal contract that you sign and date. Ask yourself,
DO YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH BRIAN J APOLLONIO?

Click on LOCATIONS on the upper left side and scroll down until you see on the right the title - PROSTRUCTION USA WAREHOUSES. Directly below will be a picture and current address of Construction Pros/Xterior Solutions. That is it! That is all that is left. He has been caught with his pants down!

Dear Jason Tabor owner of Xterior Solutions:
OK, so let me see if I understand. You admit that you are operating a contracting service out of a private residence which you will not divulge the address to the general public (let alone your customers). You receive mail at a Post Office Box at 1 East Market St (PO # 251) instead of having it sent directly to your private residence. Just this knowledge alone should be very helpful to those who are interested in zoneing issues and those who think that having the ability to follow up, if needed, after the sale is important.
As far as the 11 years go, I wrote that you claim 11 years of experience eventhough your company is only 1 year old. So what are you thumping your chest about? Do you not want to explain how you have 11 years experience with a one year old company?
Your involvement in 5 Charles St Pleasant Valley, NY is more than just using them as a temporary wharehouse space. Your BBB states that this is your legal address.
Your website promotes a showroom where potential customers can view all of your products. Just how is that possible if you operate out of your private residence which you will not tell anyone what the address is?
How do you know what my employment status is? Why does it even matter? You are so defensive! Usually, when people are this
defensive, they are hiding something.

Below is a copy of the incorporation papers for Construction Pros obtained on the internet from The NYS Division of Corporation, State Records. It reveals the following:
a) Construction Pros is less than one year old.
b) Prostruction began in 2007 and went out of business only 4 years later.
c) The mailing address is 203 Cardinal Rd Hyde Park, NY 12538 (the home address of Jason Tabor, owner of Xterior Solutions)
Here are some conflicts that anyone thinking about doing business with Construction Pros should resolve first.
1) Brian Apollonio denies involvement in Xterior Solutions
2) Jason Tabor denies involvement in Construction Pros.
3) Xterior Solutions is NOT a legal corporation in NYS.
4) Brian Apollonio, on Construction Pros facebook page states the following:
Construction Pros, Inc is a family owned and operated business that has been around for over 15 years. Located in Pleasant valley, NY they service Dutchess, Westchester, Orange and Putnam counties. They specialize in windows, siding, roofing, sunrooms, decking, construction and remodeling. Construction Pros, Inc. offers a vast array of home improvement and remodeling solutions. They are also a retailer of many of the largest brands. Whether you are looking to add to your home or improve the space you already have, Construction Pros, Inc. has what you need.
I urge everyone to reconsider doing business with this company until you fully understand the ramifications of these facts.

It seems some dweeb named Ryan, a childhood friend of Brian J Apollonio, has discovered a method of negating negative comments from the site Judysbook. Read the site and you will see that the general public is kept from knowing the truth. This is just one more example how Elsa & Brian J Apollonio manipulate the facts and deceive the general public. So far, he has not been successful with this site. He obviously has no shame just like his employeers.

Update by windowman
May 17, 2012 10:33 am EDT

To further clarify Ryan' s involvement in his blatant actions to conceal information from the general public concerning Construction Pros, I submit a copy of the following website - www.elharo.com/journal/job.html - titled -

I'm Just Doing My Job

I hate that phrase. It's used by cops harrassing black drivers, soldiers burning down villages and napalming children, utility workers cutting off power to elderly widows, telephone solicitors calling you during dinner, network administrators working at spammer ISPs, data entry clerks who insist on getting your social security number even when you have a legal right not to provide it, and many others.
"I'm just doing my job" is an all-purpose excuse by anyone who doesn't want to take responsibility for their own actions or even consider that what they're doing might be wrong. It's as if the person who's just doing their job isn't a real person with the ability to make choices and moral decisions. Instead they're just an unthinking cog in the corporate machine with no more choice or responsibility than a photocopier or fax machine.
People aren't cogs and they aren't machines. They need to stand up and take responsibility for their actions. They need to make choices, and admit the choices they've made. They need to be prepared to defend those choice, and if they're wrong and can't honestly defend the choices they've made, they should be prepared to correct their mistakes.
I'm less alienated than most from my labor. I'm a freelance writer, and I write pretty much what I want to write, when I want to write it. I say what I want to say, and I admit that I've said it. Sometimes people disagree with me, and they let me know. Sometimes they're right; sometimes they're not; sometimes the issue is cloudy. That's fine. Sometimes I make mistakes, and I admit those too. But I accept responsibility for my actions. I don't claim that somehow I'm not responsible for something I said or did simply because I was working for a paycheck when I said or did it.
What spawned this latest tirade was the news that Bell Atlantic is trying to censor a web page that advocates calling and writing certain Bell Atlantic employees at home to express displeasure with their advocacy of per-minute ISP fees. Now the site in question was at least a little over the top and did advocate some possibly illegal activity, perhaps even to the point of being illegal itself, so that's not what bothered me. What bothered me was the following statement by Larry Plumb, director of communications for Bell Atlantic.
I suspect many of us would object to having incidents at work coming back to haunt us at home
Sorry Larry, that doesn't cut it. Our lives are our lives. We cannot and should not separate them into a "work part" and a "home part" where the home part isn't responsible for anything that happens at work. We are whole beings, indivisible. If you commit a crime at work, you don't just go to jail from nine to five. If your job requires you to take action in the public sphere in an an attempt to influence government regulation, people who disagree with you may call you at home to discuss it. This shouldn't surprise you. You have to take responsibility for your actions, regardless of whether or not you were acting at work. It is not acceptable to advocate particular policies that are beneficial to your employer, and then turn around and say to your friends in private, "I don't really believe that, but it's my job to say these things." I know this goes against everything that qualifies you to be a "director of communications", but it's the truth. Corporations are legal fictions. Corporations don't speak or communicate or lobby for regulation. People do. And those people must be prepared to take the heat for their actions and their beliefs.

Ryan should be ashamed of himself., however, that is the paradox of this situation. He isn't. He continues doing what he does and the general public continues to NOT understand the whole situation because of his actions.
Contact Ryan at the office of Construction Pros and tell him your thoughts concerning this situation.

In addition to investigating the county clerks office (as suggested by Kimberlk), all of you may want to contact Brian J & Elsa Apolonio directly to ask them the following questions:
1) Why are you paying someone to delete negative comments from the website Judysbook?
2) Why do you have the home address of your supposed competition (Jason Tabor owner of Xterior Solutions) as the mailing address for New York State to contact you as the owners of Construction Pros?
3) Why do you have on your social websites a vastly different number than The New York State Government concerning the years in business for Construction Pros.
4) Being Brian J Aplolnio is only 33, how can Construction Pros be in business for over 15 years?
Here is how you can contact them:
(Home) 130 Mayfair Road
Poughquag, New York 12570
Home # [protected]
Better yet, do what Kimberlk suggests - STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Take your business to another home improvement company.

One of the selling points GAF offers is their Master Elite program. This program allows contractors who want to promote their services the opportunity to rise above the typical local dealer. These contractors must follow the warranty. If they don't, GAF will hire another contractor to repair the roof and bill the offending contractor for the job. Contact GAF and inform them Construction Pros refuses to correct the problem. Not only will they get billed for the work they may lose their Master Elite status.

The saying - sticks and stones will break your bones but names will never hurt you - has been around forever, however, Brian J Apollonio and his blow fish look-a-like wife, Elsa, have changed this reality. There has been The Brian J Apollonio Construction Corporation, The Prostruction Corporation, The Prostruction USA Corporation, Construction Pros Corporation and now Xterior Solutions Corporation, all from a 30 something year old. There is a reason for this name game and you must determine on your own who is the beneficiary. To assist in this endeavor please read the complaint Xterior Solutions Misinformation. It is your home - deal with it!

The saying - Sticks and stones will break your bones but names will never hurt you - is not always true. In this case, we have name changes that could definitely hurt you. Brian J Apollonio and his blow fish look-a-like wife, Elsa, have created in approximately 10 years the ongoing saga of - Name That Company. The Brian J Aplollonio Construction Corporation, Prostruction Construction Corporation, Prostruction USA Corporation, Construction Pros Corporation, and Xterior Solutions Corporation and they are only in their thirties. Look up the complaints for all of these companies, especially Xterior Solutions, and you will see how, in this case, a name can break your bones.

Go to the following site:
Construction Pros Inc. Remodeling Contractor - Pleasant ...
porch.com › Pleasant Valley Remodeling Contractors
and you will see Brian J Apollonio, once again, lie about how long his business, Construction Pros, has been in existence. As I have already shown, his company began on 8/15/2011 not sometime in the 1990s. Don't enter into a written financial commitment with someone who won't even give you the basic facts about his own company.

This company is downright awful. My husband and I hired them through BJs Wholesale Club, and contracted them to redo the roof on our house. We had the work done in June
2012, and within a few months (in December 2012) we noticed that water was dripping on the underside of the front part of our roof only. We contacted the shingle manufacturer (GAF) and the owner of Construction Pros INC (Brian Appolonio) about the problem immediately. Both companies sent out a representative. The rep from GAF quickly determined that we had a condensation problem that was not due to shingle defect, and was an airflow problem created by too tight insulation that did not allow air to reach the ridge vent. The rep from Construction Pros (a Mr Fisher) who came out instead of the company owner, who told us he would be out of the country for a week, also agreed we had an airflow problem, and that it would need to be rectified. He told us the owner of the company would get back to us, and to date we still have not heard a word from him. The only calls we have received are from his wife, Elsa, who promised up and down that she is e-mailing him, and that he will get back to us shortly. Seriously? We have left numerous messages with the company owner on his cell phone, to no avail. This is a disgusting and unprofessional way to treat a customer, especially one with young children, whose rooms are just under this roof. (We have a Cape with a finished attic)
We have since developed a mold problem and have gotten nothing but the run around. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. They are unprofessional, will take your money, and could care less about doing shoddy work. Having since done some research, I've found out that Construction Pros INC was the name Brian Appolonio came up with to replace the company's former name, ProStruction, INC, which had numerous Better Business Bureau complaints.

Don't know who you are windowman and dont care to. Im the owner of Xterior Solutions. Xterior Solutions has no affiliation with Construction Pros or Prostruction. We used warehouse space from them months ago and received our mail there. We no longer use that warehouse. Our location is in Hyde Park at a private residence. 1 East Market St, P.O. Box 251 is a mailing address for Xterior Solutions. Good job finding out that the post office is at 1 East Market St. Thats usally where the mail is. Im sorry you have no job and have time to write all this, but if your going to write something make sure it make sense. Yes my company started Jan. 2011 your correct. No where on my website or anywhere states that my company started 11 years ago. It says 11 years expierence maybe, which is two different things. Spend some time and make your family proud. Get a job.

Construction Pros is located at 5 Charles St Building B Pleasant Valley NY. Xterior Solutions along with Factor Direct Spas are located in seperate areas of the warehouse park.

Yes Geoffrey you are right in the fact that ProStruction, Inc legally changed its name to Construction Pros. So the company I own ProStruction never filed bankruptcy. Maybe you are referring to a different company called ProStruction USA? Either way it's said that we find out now you were let go from Renewal by Andersen for the same poor performance. I look down on myself as I should have called this company before hiring you for a background check. And now I notice on here that you are also posting ridiculous comments about that company also. Funny how the only two companies you post comments about are the two that let you go. Anyways please stop with the posts as this doesn't need to escalate to court over childish actions.

I am the owner of Construction Pros, Inc. These comments are posted by a disgruntled ex-employee. Also to be clear ProConstruction has never filed bankruptcy nor was I an owner of ProConstruction. Also I am not the owner of Xterior solutions either. I have no affiliations with any company beside Construction Pros, Inc. Please check out our reviews on the Better Business Bureau at http://www.newyork.bbb.org/Find-Business-Reviews/name/Construction+pros/12569/. We are a rated "A" company. Windowman, you should also know that the Apollonio's are yet again starting up another company. Xterior Solutions in Hyde Park and Pleasant valley. If you google there business phone number the address comes up the same as Construction Pros, 5 Charles Street in Pleasant Valley.
