Concord Rents Brand new apartment complex with brand new bugs that can barely be seen but definitely bite

Brand new apartment complex with brand new bugs that can barely be seen but definitely bite. Still pay full rent ($1,050.00) even though There's bugs in the apartments and pest control has to come every single week to keep them at bay. On top of that, construction did a crap job at finishing the apartment, there are holes and things falling apart everywhere in these BRAND NEW apartments, I'm tired of maintenance in my house fixing things. Also, you must pay $25 for parking that should have already came with the apartment price wise. Apparently the floors/ceilings are super thin because I know exactly when my upstairs neighbors wake up and where they are in their apartment. There is nothing for children to do, no sidewalks for safety to anything around the area/outside the complex, not even the school down the street. No pool. A small (very small) playground for children under age 10 but the teenagers are out there doing things that are inappropriate for the younger children because there is no activity for them like a basketball court or field. The front doors open outward, so you could injure someone when leaving your apartment if they so happen to be walking and you open your door swiftly. Or, if there's someone trying to rob you, they could just stick their foot in the door to stop you from closing it. The doors within the apartment open outwards too, causing obstruction. There's no storage besides the closet in the bedrooms, no coat closet, nowhere to put vacuum/broom/mops.. apartment looks great but could use some improvement for sure.

This Company has made my moving process a living hell. I put in a 60 day notice to vacate from their apartments I had a credit on my account because I received rental assistance. I found a house so I'll be moving 1 month early. This company has given me such a hard time. Why accept programs that are the to help people if you're not going to let people use them in a way that is beneficial to them. There are so many companies going up on rents and other things we are sometimes people have to in their lease early in order to be in a better situation for their families. No matter what the reason is it shouldn't matter if a family is doing what's in their best interest in this company has a credit why would they give residents a hard time about leaving? It doesn't matter if our Florida pays my final months rent or if I pay it. They would still have a credit balance on my account. This company is very selfish and nothing they do makes sense to me. Thats such a inconvenience and wrong to make a resident pay them and they already have funds!

This company is full of crap. I half way applied for an apartment but when I went to complete it the website said it is disabled. I called the customer service and they gave me another number to call which was not helpful at all. Do not rent from this company. They are scammers and only want to take your money. I'm glad that I didn't move in but I'm very upset with the experience.

Do to health issues I got behind on my November rent. I told Shanntel the manager of the apartment. that I did a application to Our Florida for rental assistance. I email her my Our FL application I'd number. I was approved and I received November and December rent with the late fee paid for November rent. I paid the rent on December 6 for both months. on Dec 13 they did a eviction for not paying Nov rent. which the rent was already paid even with the late fee. On December 15th, Shanntel told me that I have to moved out by January. I got surprised and ask why? She ask me. Haven't you received the eviction? I said no I haven't and How can you do a eviction if you already have the rent money. Then she told me that the only way for me to stay was, if I paid late fees and lawyer fee. To talk to Our FL and ask for the eviction fees. On Dec 17th, I received the eviction. I answer the eviction and waited for the court to make a decision. After my answer to the Court. Shanntel the manager at River Ridge Apts. call me saying that she received a answer from the court and if I want to do a stipulation saying that I'm going to paid those fees. I told her that I don't agree with the fees because the rent was paid when they did the eviction. I received Jan rent payment from our FL and she didn't want to accept it unless I paid all the fees that they are asking. She ask me for $1190.73 I ask to explain How she came out with those numbers and to write it down. She said I don't have to give you anything writing down. Very unprofessional. On Jan 3rd at the Court hearing. Her lawyer said they got the checks from me but they have it on hold. So they receive the money. Hold it. And evict me. The judge said I'm in default because I didn't deposit at the register the January rent. I was unable to deposit because Court doesn't accept the check from Our FL, because is made to River Ridge. Injustice. Waiting for the 24hr notice.

I was an actual vendor dealing with the cleanjng for 4 separate locations. I provided cleaning for Concord rental management each location managed by someone different. They were ecstatic with our services then we had two evictions to clean out at Cape Morris I contacted management on both because one was infested with cockroaches the other had drugs in it. I cleaned them both out making sure they were live-able and even did maintenances job. I was walking down the stairs when a teenaged female knocked me out of the way to push by me and I attempted to contact management and she told me"she has too much on her plate". The maintenance people were painting over dust and dirt don't fixing the appropriate things so I told management later receiving a letter to cancel our contract because I asked too many times about invoices and pay. They treated myself and staff like trash and just because Brenda is a manager she wanted to add to it and take away cleaning for the last month causing our company to loose neatly $1000. I thought large corporations were supposed to look out for small businesses build them off and help them get to where that corporation is. And for somebody who just started at the company to send me a cancellation with no reason I think it's absurd. I would never recommend this company to anyone nor would I ever provide my services for them ever again. They allow drugs partying and violence on their property.

Ventrua @ ***, owned and operated by Concord Management LTD.
The 1 start rating i'm giving this company is overly generous but unfortunately is the lowest rating i'm able to provide here. Move in was extremely disorganized, walk through inspection we did upon moving in was done by someone on his fist day. He asked us more questions than we asked him. Clearly was new and not properly trained but still a very nice young man. We were assigned parking spots but never provided with parking decals. A few months went by, grounds littered with trash, exposed wiring in the grass, overflowing trash dumpsters, man hole covers open. Dangerous conditions. Vehicle was towed after being in my assigned spot (per lease agreement). Had to pay $400 cash to receive my properly parked vehicle. Went to consult with office who provided no solution other than that they misprinted the parking spot numbers. No refund, no apologies. They force you to pay for valet trash service who only comes occasionally. Trash overflows and raccoons tear it apart. Management sucks, not the office manager but upper management. They have no respect and care about nothing but your rent check. Moved out in June, we are now in September with no communication or deposit refund. I call and get hung up on even though the apartment was left in perfect condition and i even hired a professional cleaning compnay to do the move out cleaning because i knew management would do anything they can to not pay out. If you want consistently terrible service, by all means sign a lease with this company.

My wife and I wanted to rent a Townhouse, at The Reserve at Brookhaven, Palm Coast, FL. They had no units available, so we were told to fill out application, and be placed on waiting list, after the application is approved. Application fee, $170.00, no problem, wife got to the holding fee, $350.00, and paid it, which I would have stopped right there, why are we paying a holding fee, when there is nothing to hold, but it was done. Not long after we came across a Town House we wanted to buy, so we contacted The Reserve at Brookhaven to take our name off the waiting list, and get our $350.00 refunded, but that was not to be, we were told, IN THE FINE PRINT, any holding fee paid, is not refundable. Now if there was a unit on hold, I could understand keeping, somewhat, if we canceled, but because we were looking at a, 1 June 2022 move in date, our application was placed in a hold file until we were 60 days from requested move in date. So, keeping the $350.00, MAKES NO SENSE TO ME, and is NOT right. So, future tenants, beware of the fine print, when dealing with this company, and I would suggest, if they don't have a unit available, don't pay a holding fee, if you decide not to rent, your money is gone.

I live at Marbella Pointe in Orlando and they are forcing me to pay for cable/internet through them instead of through Spectrum directly. It wouldn't be so bad, except they're making me pay for cable, which i don't want, and they want to charge me more than what i'm paying Spectrum! And i still have to pay for phone service separately with Spectrum! i am currently paying for internet/phone $76/mnth thru Spectrum. Management wants me to pay them $89/mnth on top of rent for cable/internet! And i would have to get phone service from Spectrum for an additional $14/mnth! When i contacted Spectrum about this, they said management cannot make me disconnect service with them if i don't want to. Isn't this considered price gouging! it's definitely not right to force me to pay for something i don't want and more than actual provider charges.

If you like to set money on fire, rent, or try to rent, with this company. Was told an apartment was available, I paid application and holding fee on apartment. Turns out apartment wasn't available and the waiting list is at least 6 months long. This wouldn't do as I needed something sooner. I tell them to cancel said application. Come to find out after weeks of talking to people at the Concord rents call center they charged me a cancellation fee that was conveniently the same amount as my holding fee.

I have nothing really too bad to say about them. I applied at Harbor Vista Condo and was fully approved and holding fee paid. I called several times regarding my approval email because it stated I had 72 hours to pay remaining balance for security deposit. I was not able to get someone on the phone. I called *** back to ask what to do and how to pay. They told me the property manager would email me with a Resident ID to register as a resident on the website and then I can pay. I called literally a dozen times and never got anyone then I spoke with Bethany who informed me my move in date was Feb 11 and someone was working on my ledger. I then kept calling after no one called me back and left voicemails and a email Then I called to update my phone number due to recently changing it and got Justin on the phone who then informed me that I was misinformed about my move in and I'm not on his move in list and he doesn't have anything available right now but I will be up next if something did come up. I do think it's unfair because I applied and was approved in December and was proactively reaching out to pay remaining. I am NOT canceling my application because there's literally no where available for a 4bd room and I don't mind waiting for the next available one and I'm not upset at all with Justin because he was trying to find a solution for me. I do think the communication in the office can be better and answering the phones as well can help improve this situation to not happen again. All in all patience is key and I don't mind waiting because I do feel something is coming up soon.

In 2014 I chose to live at Taylor place because of the property manager Marisol. She was friendly, courteous and engaged with the residents and property. The property itself was maintained well. One month after moving in, she advised she was leaving and going to another property. Since she left there have been several property managers. None extraordinary like Marisol, and some better than others. For a living I do collection for a credit card company, so I always try to give people a second chance, I've never written a negative review, because maybe they are just having a bad day. However, recently a new property manager came in named Denise. She is hands down the rudest person I've ever met in my life. She speaks to people with a very degrading tone. She insults you, talks over you and has no people skills. Due to the change in managers, my lease was never sent to me. I received a recertification email, and was 2 days late completing the questionnaire. The notice advising me of the time to get docs in is a full page, which I skimmed through and read recertification has to be done by Oct 1. On Sept 3rd I'd realized as I looked at the paper again it said at the bottom, the questionnaire had to be completed by Sept 1. I completed it that night and I got all the rest of docs in ahead of time. For being 2 days late, I received a 70.00 fee. I asked for a one time courtesy waive as a good, long term tenant. Denise was very rude and then said there's nothing she can do, she said I could send her an email and she would ask Che the district manager. I had Che's number, so I sent Denise the email and text a screenshot to Che. Neither replied. I then emailed Denise twice more and took a screenshot to send to Check. Denise finally replied and then called being very rude over the phone and said she didn't believe I had Che's number and that all she could do was ask Che... she'd said twice before she would ask Che, so apparently she never did. This will absolutely be my last yr here.. concord management does not care about the tenants if they have someone like Denise managing the property.

Concord Rents After contacting *** on April 8th,2020 and speaking with Gina several times regarding the approval process , Move In

After contacting *** on April 8th,2020 and speaking with Gina several times regarding the approval process , Move In availability 5/1 and items needed because of relocating to Florida February 26th,2020 . Gina advised that Concord rents would go off of the last 6 month pay history from my previous job.I explained due to Covid 19 I applied for unemployment and had no income besides gifts from my mother unfortunately that changed too because of Covid 19. I finalized my application on April 12th,2020 online and was charged $85. After this fee was paid another section appeared regarding the $350 holding fee there is an option to pay in person that was not working I waited till am and called regarding this issue and they stated I needed to pay by card. The $350 showed as pending on my bank portal then disappeared 2 days later it reappeared. and funds were debited.Additional information was requested and uploaded to there website. Over the next several weeks I had additional information requested and I completed and uploaded to there portal. Numerous emails and phone calls over time items requested seemed to be repetitive. The last email I received was May 21,2020. I have sent all information requested including notarized documents. My move in date of May 1,2020 has passed. I repeatedly keep sending the same information and call and leave messages. They have not reached out to me regarding messages I left .In the portal it states still pending. I'm requesting clarification regarding my application being in a pending status. If I've been declined kindly refund the $350 holding fee.

I assisted my senior mom in applying and paying all fees and holding deposit for a senior apartment in Orange City, FL. The only time I was able to speak to someone when calling (once out of 10-20 times in 3 months) was before I paid the application fee and holding deposit. I asked the lady over the phone about the process and the waiting list. The lady told me that there was a very short waiting list (this was between June 2nd and June 5th), and that I would have to pay the holding deposit/fee to be placed on the waiting list, and to hold the apartment that becomes available. I have tried calling many times after my mother's application was approved, and we paid the fees/deposit (approximately $400), and have not spoken to anyone since. That was approximately 3 months ago. No updates, no calls, no status change or "line movement" on the applicant portal. NOTHING! I went by the apartments to see if I could reach someone in the office, and it was closed with one or 2 people outside the door, I'm assuming, trying to reach someone. Today, I called Concord Management, located in Maitland, FL, and got nothing but pre-recorded messages, connecting me to different lines, which ultimately ended with a pre-recorded message asking me to call (844) number. Well, after calling that number, I got the same pre-recorded messages, and switchboard connecting me to different lines, to end with the same pre-recorded message I got from calling their (407) number, that asked me to call the (844) number to reach someone. This is clearly fraudulent behavior, and I'd bet they collected money from many people, and are collecting interest on money they conned out of people. They state they do not give refunds. So, what is the law on returning a holding deposit if management mislead people to believe they had apartments that would come available within 6 months or less. Think I will also get the FTC involved. Also, I've noticed that Concord Rents aka Concord Management has been building up lots of properties around Florida in the past 3 years, something is not right.

I have an online application with Concord Rents for a one bedroom apartment at Parc Hill Senior Apartments since July 7. No one answers the phones or responds to my email. I am working with Donna *** through Volusia County Section 8 transferable voucher. I have texted Sarah who is supposed to be helping me with my application. I have questions regarding the property and she doesn't respond.
Please have someone contact me who can answer my questions of concern. It is important as I am trying to relocate from upstate NY within the next two months.
#1) Is water included in the rent?
#2) Is a parking space included in the rent?
#3) Fo they offer internet and TV bulk services?
#4) What is the cost of renting a washer and dryer?
#5) What is the fee for an application?
#6) What monies are due upon moving in?
#7) Where can the moving van park to unload my belongings?

I realize my questions may not be of importance to others, however, I need to know the answers to make sure the transaction goes smoothly.

Thank you so much for your time.
Sincerely,
Victoria *** (Vicki)

Concord Rents I am a current resident of Brittany Bay in Naples,FL

I am a current resident of Brittany Bay in Naples,FL. I am highly upset and disappointed with the response and services of "John " the maintenance employee. I called tonight around 8:30 pm in regards to my A/C unit not cooling my apartment. I received a call from John stating they would not be able to come look at it till tomorrow because of company policies " No calls after hours" and my A/C not working was not an emergency . I informed him that I have two children that also live here both my daughters ages 4 and 1 and at least needed someone to come and look at it. He instructed me to call the leasing office and discuss the matter with them . I have never heard of maintenance not being able to come look at the A/C unit after hours at this apartment complex or my previous residence. I had the same issue happen at my old residence and maintenance was there within 10 minutes multiple occasions at night just to try and give me and my one daughter at the time some relief to try and get it to cool. When asking when did this policy become into effect John responded it has always been this way I expressed to him that he has came over to look at my A/C unit before last year around this time and a few calls to maintenance were made at night and they came out he denied everything I was saying. It is now 10:35 pm my children and I have to sleep in my car just to get A/C and be cool while inside our home is 82 degrees. As a paying resident I felt like we were not made a priority especially while children were involved in the matter and the poor attitude an employee of this company. I have never had an issue with any staff here until now. After this year I am thinking whether or not to renew my lease if issues keep arising.

Concord Rents I am not satisfied AT ALL with how management and the headquarters office in Maitland handle complaints!

I am not satisfied AT ALL with how management and the headquarters office in Maitland handle complaints! I was wrongfully/mistakenly charged a pet violation fee back in January - the day after I received the pet violation fee notice, I contacted the office with my concerns and reassured them that we were dealing with a big mistake, there has been NO pets in my apartment, not visiting, not owned.! They said they would get in contact with the w/d inspectors (I suggested this) cause they are the ones that put my apartment number down in the unauthorized pet list (btw, I've never even seen a copy of that list- would also love to see the original copy that the inspectors supposedly keep as well, because there are other buildings that have the same apt# in my community, Oviedo Town Centre). Seeing that the investigation was taking TOO long, I got in contact with headquarters and suggested that the inspectors come back out ASAP (which I've been requesting since the get-go) so it could be confirmed that there was a mistake, and I also suggested they perform unannounced visits to my apartment to prove no pets. The unannounced visits were performed by my community's maintenance team, and it was confirmed that we don't have pets, but I was later told that the fee would still stick because my apartment number was jotted down in that list of unauthorized pets! I contacted HQ again and it was escalated to my community's supervisor- I even suggested to her that the cameras outside my building be viewed so they could see for themselves that there was no one even visiting with pets, but I was told the cameras were not for that use. Long story short, the $400 was deducted from my Federal Rental Assistance Credit, after several months they still haven't been able to get the w/d inspectors out here, and overall this complaint was handled VERY POORLY! Complaints should be handled with due diligence! If the inspectors would have came out soon after my first complaint, this would have been cleared up and settled long time ago! At this point, even if the w/d inspectors do end up coming back out, I'm hopeful, but not even sure that their memory is strong or reliable enough to remember my inspection from January! Keep in mind how many inspections they do in a day, let alone several months after! I will continue to fight for my rights, and it's such a good feeling knowing that I'm standing on the side of truth!
Yurimar O.

I just want to update my review stating that my case was given a final review and has been successfully resolved! My claim took a while to get properly addressed, but it has since been successfully resolved, which I am very satisfied with

Concord Rents Do not enter residence unless you speak to an adult and I am present

Do not enter residence unless you speak to an adult and I am present. I am unplugging this loud machine and I will be temporarily leaving the unit until everything is properly fixed. I am right now suffering from severe depression and anxiety and I have had multiple episodes of anxiety attacks since this issue started. I can't stop shaking I feeling very depressed and my family members are urging me to just come back home because at the rate because they are afraid of my health conditions are going to get even worse. I don't want my kids nor myself to suffer from this issue any further much medically or mentally. I will have my doctor's to contact your corporate office with my physical and mental issues. Not to mention the physical, mental, and health issues that is arising from the day we came back to ***. My kids are minors they have no business in my living space which was the living room without my permission around my minor kids who did not have access to their living space in their room because of an electrical issue. I don't trust very easily since I gotten here its just been lies after lies. I will be relocating until I can properly conduct a walk thru of this apartment the right way because I stated my issues during the walk through but Maritza Santiago stated she didn't have the form and she will give me all the paperwork on Monday or Tuesday. I emailed about the paperwork and the toilet and to no avail I got nothing. I let her know about these issues before 48 hours per your lease agreement it was not even 20 minutes after the signing of the lease agreement I don't understand if I am being targeted because the color my skin or should I say because I am disabled. This is an act of discrimination and I refuse to be afraid to go to the leasing office with a complaint. Right now I am in fear of my safety and my kids. I would like someone from corporate to contact me immediately in response to my complaints. After this email has been sent to Mrs. Santiago can someone find another way of communicating with this rental office. I plan to go back to Homestead, Florida to live with a family member until this matter is handled. I am opting out of my lease until I speak with someone from corporate which I was told I should have a phone call from them today. I am unplugging this big fan that causing my electrical bill to rise and not to mention the vibration of the unit that is triggering my anxiety to the highest level. Please can you forward this message to your corporate office because you can no longer assist my needs. Thanks for nothing because the first thing gaining someone trust and making them feel comfortable is honesty.

Concord Rents Black mold all in our ventilation

For over a year we have been vocal about our infestation of mold through out our vents. We keep repeating and disturbing it and my children have already been pre diagnosed with a mold allergy prior to moving here. For the past four months my children have been receiving prescription eye drops due to the mold that lives with in our ventilation and ac unit. The pictures is all you need to see, my words won’t do it justice. What exactly do you think it is my 5 children 10,9,8,2 and 1 years of age should do in a situation like this?

Concord Rents The entire company

Worked with/ lived with the company in Naples, FL. BRITTANY BAY.

Moved in after working there over a year. Was there through Hurricane Irma.

Quit the company, and moved out. (Should mention I worked as a maintenance tech. And upon moving myself and my family in (with a newborn baby) I changed EVERYTHING in the apartment. Upon moving in, I requested the carpet to be changed as the previous tenant had animals, that had fleas; and there were confirmed reports of bed bugs in the unit from the previous tenant. Massey pest control came out. Unit still had issues with pests. After a month or so of issues, my family got irritated and decided to move, and I decided to quit working for Concord.

In retaliation; the company lied; gave a whole list of 'issues' wrong with the apartment, when everything in it was less than 60 days new. I should know, I sintalled it all, myself. Down to the kitchen faucet. Soap dishes in the bathroom, and new paint on the walls and ceiling.

Since 2018, they have been sending me collections messages for $1500. That I refuse to pay; in retribution for working for them, and leaving; plus the kept my security deposit.

Shady company to work for, nevertheless to live at; and trust. I wouldn't trust them as far as I can pee.

Desired outcome: Shut the company down. They're ripping off honest and hard working folks.

Concord Rents Improperly charged a fine for not picking up dog poo that I did pick up.

On July 14 2023 at approximately 9:00 am I was walking my two dogs for their morning bathroom walk. I carry a roll of bags on my leashes at all times. One dog went poop and I picked it up. I didn't notice that I didn't have another bag, the roll was out but threw the first one away in garbage. I walked further to get my second dog to go poop and when he finally did next to the office I realized I was out of bags. I was walking towards my apartment to leave dogs in apartment and get a poop bag and my stuff for work as I had to be at work at 10 am. I was yelled at by a office worker and told "you need to pick up that dog poop" and four times I told her "I'm going to get bags...im out of bags". I went to my apartment retrieved a bag and my stuff for work and as I was leaving drove to the office and picked up the dog poop. The office has cameras so it should be very easy to watch the video of that morning between 915 am and 9:30 am that will show me pull in front of the office get out of my car with an orange poop bag pick up the poop and get back in my car with it. I had to throw it away outside panera bread where I stopped to get breakfast. I drive a silver hyundai sonata...i then got home to find a note saying I owe $200 dollars fine for not picking up the poop. However evidence from your video camera will show that is not correct! I always pick up my dogs poop. I also went to the office Tuesday morning July 18th to talk to someone regarding the situation and while speaking with one lady, the lady that saw me and spoke with me walked up and rudely said "I was the lady that saw you and you had no intention of picking it up " this lady who is calling me a liar needs training on employee/customer relations. Also I was told that the manager was on a phone call and couldn't get off but that she would call me this morning its 7:11 pm and I've received NO CALL/CALLS and I've emailed them twice and no one EVER returns emails or calls when you try to contact them.

Desired outcome: REMOVE the $200 dollar fine because it's for NOT picking up poop which is NOT what happened! I picked the dogs poop up!!! Had the office been open that morning (Friday the 14th) I would have taken the poop inside to show them!

Concord Rents First Donna is a*** and rude

First Donna is a*** and rude. I have her on audio. I was giving my key before I could see the unit, they were rushing me, I saw the unit tried to get out the least the same day (proof) the cabinet fell on me, sink stopped up, ants were horrible, tubs were filthy, blinds on backwards, it was a fresh blood stain on the wall they rushed the unit. I had to move in the ants ate us up pest control had to constantly come, it was gray things in the carpet, that a go on the walls. I asked could the tubs be refurbished and was told no, it cost too much so we always had to shower. Fruit flies stayed in my fridge that constantly leaked which I told them the first day when I viewed the unit. I have a hospital report from when I fell. Maintenance half fix everything the screen door and blinds stayed falling down. Now I'm in contact with a lawyer because they kept my deposit and charging me almost $1,600 $994 for some carpet that has things in it. It was two stains in the master and one in the kids room.they told me they sent my credit balance to our Florida who said that they don't have it and advised me to file a police report so that they can properly track it. Tried to speak to someone in corporate who was very rude and hung up on me. I called back and spoke with someone else and told them I did not agree and I wanted to challenge it sent the mail and email also saying the same and they are still trying to add it or put it on my credit. The only thing that was wrong with my unto when I left was my tv brackets was not able to come down but the door, blind on the ground, and carpet and I always kept proof of pictures, videos and emails dated from the time I moved in the first day I also have Karla on audio advising me not to tell my worker about the our Florida, pest control and donna I will be filing a report to the police so our Florida can track it and the lawyer I'm talking to have the audios and pictures and the report from me falling from the fridge always leaking

I Applied for an advertised bedroom Apartment at Mystic Cove, Oviedo-Concord Rents on July 6th 2022 and paid $480 for Fees which includes holding the Apartment. I received an Approval Letter that my Application is accepted but my request to move in June 1st 2022 couldn't be met as no Apartments are available and I will be placed on hold. "Red Flag" June? That is backwards and misleading that Apartments were available in July when I applied and submitted Fees. It has been almost 3 months and not one whisper by them. No explainations, no return emails, no return phone calls, no answer at the office doors..nothing. I had already requested a full refund, via email messaging to them on their website, back into my Account and still..nothing? Dead Silence. I am requesting for Complaintsboard.com to please intervene on my behalf in seeking resolution for my Full Refund? Thank you and have a great day.

I had put in an application and was on the waiting list. Then they called me in to redo an application. I did the application with Maria. She stated my application was denied and she could not tell me why. Then she emailed me back and said I was over the income limit and that's why I was denied but when I did the application. I looked at the numbers and I was fine. I'm really thinking bout taking this to court but I want to try to get this resolved. Then I went to go pick up my $100 deposit and they told me they already cashed it and that I had to wait until it came in the mail and I still have not got my money back and it should've been sent.

9/29/2022 have been living at Uptown Maitland senior apts. for 7 years. On Thursday, September 29, 2022 morning There was a hurricane Ian. which caused flooding in my apt in the bedroom and dining room area. . I am requesting new carpet and baseboards and wood underneath padding and new padding for water-damaged areas or things. First of all the carpet needs to be replaced because it is over 9 years old. Now the carpet and wood and padding is water damaged. underneath the carpet needs to be treated. I have not been unable to stay in the apartment because it is making me sick with headaches and feel like want to vomit if I stay in the apt over an hour. On Wednesday maintenance told me the blower need to be on one more day. On Thursday morning I came to apt at 930am to meet with Alex about removing the blower. he said he did not have time so I cut the blower off at 1120 am. on Thursday. Anything other than new is unacceptable. the carpet, the wood that holds the carpet, and the baseboards need to be replaced with new carpet, new baseboards, and new pads. I am not satisfied with the repair. I found more water damage than maintenance inspections but management want be to accept water damage carpet baseboard, carpet pad, wood and go up on my rent too.

Concord Rents I applied for *** Apartments through them

I applied for *** Apartments through them. I needed help with the application because my situation was special since I was moving from out of state. Before applying, I spoke with Jamerla at *** on Monday. She told me if I pay the holding fee by that day, the would put me on the waitlist and she can start assigning apartments. I applied and paid a $300 holding fee towards the deposit. However when I applied I didn't have the section 8 ready because I'm in another state. I was told that Concord Rents will email me and ask about that information then I'll have a chance to explain everything to the specialist then they'd work with me to gather documents. I thought I'd get approved with any income below the maximum of $35,460 because their website did not list minimum income required. l called to speak to someone about my application responses because I knew I would be at $0 income once I moved. I didn't know how to answer the employment questions. I was told to fill out the application then call Concord Rents if I needed assistance. They couldn't help me with my responses. I asked if I would be assigned a specialist to help me with other concerns regarding the $0 income status (because I would have to quit the agency in OH when I move). My employment is per diem agency work and I'm not guaranteed the work hours. They said yes a specialist will reach out. The specialist emailed as soon as I got off the phone with ConcordRent customer service. I was asked for clarification about employment income and an LLC- I sent the information. I sent the responses and they denied me for "Misleading Information". But in the explanation, it also said I didn't qualify financially. This is the same information I needed help with when applying and was told to put what I have then the specialist would reach out. They are using Misleading Information as a way to keep my $300 fee and the specialist never reached out my concern on how I should answer income question.

9/9/22 received email advising I was approved with $850 deposit and prorated rent. I was told to bring $1452.73 for rent and the balance of my deposit for release of keys. Since I paid online, I wasn't able to change or adjust a the balance which was $1702.73. How can the amount change just like that? When I paid the $300 holding fee after the $90 application fee it said Holding deposit that goes toward the security deposit. To date not including the application fee I've paid $2002. How is that right? I reached out to the office to explain and got no response. Feels like once Concord takes your money you can never talk to anyone again. My account is overdrafted, Concord messed me over

I applied for an apartment in August. They stated they had no available, but an apartment was becoming available in October. They explained an application and approval process is necessary. I explained that I had to move out of my residence by August 31st. I would apply, but would still be looking for other options because I was not sure if or when I would be approved with ***. They stated that they had multiple applicants and to hold my spot I needed to pay a application fee that was non-refundable and an additional fee of 350.00 deposit to hold my spot. If I was approved it would be deducted from my initial security deposit or rent. If, I was not approved, I would get it back. I paid both amounts and filled out the application. They request tons of information, which I provided. They requested more information, but I still had not been told if I was approved or not. They do not answer the phone. I dealt with Nina most of the time. Because the move in date was October and I needed something sooner I kept looking. I found another place and decided to move into that new place. I called Nina and told her I would not be submitting any more documentation and would no longer need the apartment and to please cancel my application. I was told that this would not be a problem as I did not complete the application. I asked for my refund of $350.00. I was told it would be refunded in 7-10 business days and that never happened. I have been calling since then and no one ever answers and when they do - you get excuses and the run around. I never received a cancellation notice nor my refund of $350.00. I finally spoke to Nina and she told me that I forfeited my application because I was approved, so I am losing the $350.00, after I was told numerous times it would be refunded. And she has lied to me and is rude and hung up on me. They are scammers. They have terrible reviews - I know see. I am not alone. I want my refund please! I am 65 on a fixed income. Help!

I applied to*** apts in Daytona Beach, FL which are owned by concord rents. I applied and paid initial application fee and was pre approved, then paid the $350 holding fee and finished application, uploaded my paystubs etc, and based on the amounts I make(42,000) I am in the eligibility range for a family of 7. I then received an email stating I was denied for income! That it was too high? The income limit for a family of 7 is listed as 54,540, I am well below that! This is after they cancelled my first application without me asking for it to be cancelled so I lost $180 app fee! Worst service I've ever had.

Concord Rents Last year was the worst year of my life

Last year was the worst year of my life. I was out sick due to COVID for almost 6 months. During that time I did receive assistance. In the process of applying for more assistance to ramifications of not working for almost 6 months and then still having doctors appointments and more, property of Concord Rents ( Retreat at Valencia) filed an eviction on me. Even though I provided ample information upon request of my request for aid and the responses that I received from agencies to provide assistance. None the less they forced the eviction and one of the agencies was able to expedite their process and approved to pay the amount due thru May. I had already received a letter for renewal and completed verification of income so that I could continue to stay in my apartment. The property manager informed me that the only way they would accept the assistance I was provided for rent was if I signed a stipulation saying that I would need to move out by May 31, 2022. This was given to me in April. I felt threatened and in fear of being evicted so I agreed. Due to the filing of the eviction and the fact that all low income or any type of housing I would qualify for has extensive waiting lists that are 6-12 months out. Most other places within what I can afford are not even available now. I also requested a ledger of all the fees charged because they do not provide access to see all the fees we are charged or pay on their portal. It is very limited. I was denied my request by the property manager and apparently the regional manager. I was also told the the reason they have rescinded the offer to renew was based on a business decision made between the property manager and regional manager. I have had some bad experiences but this takes the cake. I do not feel that I should be forced to move, having to move will create a financial hardship for me and my children. I am begging for help and a response, since I have not received anything from Concord Rents or Retreat at Valencia.

I applied to concord rents, amelia courts locations in june on 2022 based on the information that was provided to me. I know now that this company is a complete scam and just here to lie and steal from potential renters. Before I applied I went to their leasing office and asked very detailed questions regarding wait list, amenities, fee and etc. I was told by their staff that there was a wait of 3-6 months for the apartments at this unit. I was told it includes cable, washer and dryer and parking. Come to find out the wait list is a note book with a fee names on it. I need a 1 or 2 bed room . Was told in August the wait is now 9-12 months so it's best to try for a 3. They called me for a 3 bedroom and told me there is a waiting list for parking. so i have to find somewhere to park or pay a church down the street 140 a month to park there. HOW DOES THIS MAKE SENSE. If i had known that I would've never applied. First of all I had to drive 3 hours to get an answer from somebody. No matter location I call no response. The lady told me I would not get a refund even though the last rep lied. Told me she would have been honest even though she could get in trouble. So this is how they train their staff. This complaint seems like they a making a profit off application and holding fees. I've been trying to contact cooperate about this matter for weeks and can't seem to get a response besides "im sorry you where misinformed. This happens all the time and they never refund the holding fee". Once again proof that this is what the do to scam people. I am applying for a income restricted unit. Does it look like I have money to waste. I made it clear that I was moving here for school and needed to be in orlando by December 1 and they completely lied and told me to complete the application knowing the information was false. I have call sheets of the calls I made, Proof of emails. I hope they can Rectify this situation. This is simply unethical.

Alice F, Assistant Community Director of Hammock Harbor Apartment Homes, accepted two applications for one apartment, but made us pay before telling us it was no longer available. I worked with her for 3 weeks for an apartment and called continuously. I called and left a message before the apartment was open to only receive an email to pay my deposit, which I did in the amount of $1700. She could not say I had the apartment before i paid to which I did in order to get an answer. Then she said someone else paid right before, knowing she had JUST asked me for payment. Shew wanted to to get credit to lease the apartment which move in is supposed to be tomorrow, 9/9/2022. Now I have no money for my deposit and no apartment. I am requesting my money, my application fees and that Alice F be terminated for illegal and false business practices.

I first applied on May 9th, 2022. I gave them all the documents they needed so the application can be approved. I have provided them with exactly everything they have asked for & they keep saying they cannot approve the document when the document they are asking for has all the information the need. Concord Rents are telling me they cannot proceed with the process until having the information they need which I provided them with multiple times.

Concord Rents On march 23rd i received an email about low income apartments becoming available immediately

On march 23rd i received an email about low income apartments becoming available immediately. I called over the phone and asked if it was true i had called prior in the past and was told everything was booked. I spoke to a women and she said yes i asked her what i needed to she asked me how many adults i said 1 she stated theres a small fee and that i could apply online that i didn't have to come in person i then made her aware my lease end in July if that's something that could be done if there was a possibility of me getting an apartment before then if not id be homeless with 2 kids she said yes that theyd had availability & i had good credit. I went forward with the application and saw there was a fee of $90 i paid i was unable to finish the application because everything errored and i had to log back in another day when i log back in that same day i get a notification stating about $600 was taking out of my account witch I couldn't afford unless i was getting an apartment I would use that as a down payment. I applied for low income apartments because i dont have much and im a single mom so that much to me is alot I decided to look them up and go threw reviews where i saw i was not the only one and people were saying they were being scammed out of almost $700 and being denied keeping customers money just taking large sum amount application fees i called and spoke to a women again I explained what happened and that i wish not to move forward with the application she said she understood and that my application would be withdrawn i said thank you & that was it. Now 6 months later i get a call from a man saying i MUST pay all the fees even so my application was withdrawn and i have no apartment or even got a call stating something was available. Making the reviews true i made him aware of the situation and that my bank also investigated/asset the situation letting me know i was being refunded because they spoke to someone to confirm. He said itdidntmatterimobligated

I'm FED UP with *** sound apts, aka Concorde rents! I have been a tenant for over a year and ever since March when a new property manager was hired I've had NOTHING but issues! March they were adding fees to my acct in error & refused to really look at issue until my mom requested ledger & found their error in 2 minutes! They NEVER owned up to it or apologized! Then I was approved for housing assistance due to being a single mom as I lost other father of my daughter. That process was a complete nightmare as *** property manager was not too cooperative towards the end! Prior to my new lease with assistance I had a bundle package with tv, internet & washer/dryer that was incl in my monthly rent. I was NEVER told that when my new rent it would be additional cost ea month! So I cancelled bundle as I was paying fir additional internet cuz theirs sucked & wasn't secured. Fast forward to today my additional internet acct I had was cancelled due to *** out a restriction on my apt to not be allowed any internet with spectrum due to cancelling my bundle with ***... All this without any kind of notice! Now I'm w/o internet cuz no other company offers it in my complex! How is this fair? I was wanting to continue to use the current provider & pay them directly and not have the crappy wifi package *** had with ***! Oh and last week my water heater was checked due to no hot water & maint guys apparently crushed a gas line & left and fire dept had to be called due to gas leak as my apt & one above me was filled with gas fumes! I've emailed newports "property managers" & NO ONE bothered to respond! This complex is a sorry excuse for housing! They do not care for residents, only $$ going in their pockets! I've got numerous emails regarding every event to back up everything! Even called corporate office. Something needs to be done! Gas leak was serious safety issue! Careless maint guys!

I was a resident of Village Park Senior Living, a concord community for seniors. I have been a very long time renter of concord communities, and transferred previously for 2 other communities before Village Park. Have always, always paid rent on time and never have given issues. While at Village Park I asked for a reasonable accommodation to be moved to an apartment that had more light since I am legally blind and losing my eye sight more each day. When I transferred into the 2nd unit I was in my family and I noticed that there were rips in the carpet that could run/rip further and also I did not want to be responsible if I ever were to move - so I complained to the office several times. The community director Barbara finally called out a professional and although he did see rips, he said there was no need to replace at that time. It is noted in my file in 11. Years later Barbara was replaced by a unprofessional person named Dawn, when I told her about the carpet, she advised me that it was wear and tear and that I would be responsible for the replacement. During this time my husband was diagnosed with dementia and Parkinsons, so I did have to transfer to a community close to my daughter as she is our care taker now. I have been charged for the carpet through my deposit, and I have reached out to everyone at concord, with no resolution and no return call from anyone with power and need help to get this resolved.

I'm complaining about our rent increase was not supposed to take effect until 10/01/2022. But they raised it on 9/01/2022 we didn't sign the lease yet; the office worker Rico G at *** at Lady Lake, said it was an error and he would contact billing but as usual I was charged a late fee and ended up paying $273.12. Which was not our fault, when my wife contacted billing, she was told to contact the front office all they do is pass the buck back and forth no one takes any responsibility. They're so quick to charge you but never fix any problems when we report them to the office. The office workers are absolutely useless. They need to hire people that will do their job.

Concord Rents On 1/27/22 at 0645, I noticed my car had been towed

On 1/27/22 at 0645, I noticed my car had been towed. Prior to my car being towed I called the leasing office multiple times and sent an email stating I was requesting a parking spot. When I contacted the towing company, I spoke with Aaron who informed me the leasing office called him to have the car towed. The leasing office was closed until 10 AM. When the leasing office opened, I immediately called and spoke with Maritza. Maritza explained she did not have my car towed but it was my fault for not physically coming into the office. Maritza stated "We don't always check our voicemails or emails." I asked her for corporate number as I was not going to argue or with her. She said, "It doesn't matter because they're just going to forward it back to me and I'm telling you I'm not doing anything for you." I then contacted corporate who sent the information to Norma, the property manager. When I was able, I physically went into the office because I had called countless times and given rude responses by Maritza and the towing company. Maritza said "I absolutely had your car towed!" I asked why she said she didn't. Norma stated she asked the towing company to release the car per *** (manager at*** unfortunately Aaron refused because "she left a negative google review and I am not going to help her. She has to pay!" Maritza claimed she spoke to a general manager of *** named, Gina who agreed with her and did not car that my car was towed nor was she willing to have it released. Norma stated she knew nothing about this conversation. I then asked if I could have Gina's number. Maritza said "No. Why do you need it? I already spoke to Gina." with an attitude. Maritza was unwilling to provide Gina's number until Norma told her "Please just get the number" Maritza then pretended she could not find the number or did not know it Norma then told her there was a business card on her desk. I contacted the local police who said*** should reimburse me

Concord Rents With me as the co-signer, my mother @ I submitted an application for Lee Vista

With me as the co-signer, my mother @ I submitted an application for Lee Vista. Through the Apartments.com website it stated there was a 3x2 available for move in Sep 2021 so we requested information. The next day we were prompted to submit an application @ pay a $170 fee per person. Without knowing, right after we submitted the applications, I Jose, received an email from someone at Lee Vista which went to my spam folder. The email stated there were no more available 3x2 apartments. Under the impression the 3x2 was still available @ without being notified in any other way that it was in fact not available, we were approved @ prompted to submit required documents @ pay a $350 "holding fee" per person not a "holding fee because you're on the waiting list". I contacted Lee Vista the next day to make sure everything was in good standing @ was told everything was processing @ I would be contacted to proceed with the next steps also if additional documents were required. After not hearing back for days I contacted them again @ was told the same thing. After 2 weeks of no response, we disputed the charges and chose to seek an apartment elsewhere as our application was getting no where. 7 months later we get a letter and email stating we each owe a balance of $520 totaling $1,040 and it was going to be sent to collections if we did not pay it immediately. I reviewed my emails from Aug 2021 until now and still received no response from Lee Vista regarding anything, while I reviewed my spam, that is when I realized that email from someone directly from lee vista was sent to me. After kindly responding to John C email I would get nothing but completely unprofessional responses after trying to explain the situation and asking for the charges to be removed. Today I called and John answered. Within 30 seconds of the conversation John quickly became hostile and wouldn't let me speak then hung up. WE WOULD NOT HAVE APPLIED TO AN APARTMENT THAT WAS NOT AVAILABLE BY 9/30.

Concord Rents On Feburary 18 I made a $65.00 application fee to Retreat at Valencia Apartment Homes for a 2 bedroom apartment

On Feburary 18 I made a $65.00 application fee to Retreat at Valencia Apartment Homes for a 2 bedroom apartment. Then on Feburary 19 via email one of the leasing associate contact my telling me that I had to put a $250 holding fee down to hold the apartment. Now at this point my leasing was up march 14 so I was trying to get another apartment early so I could start moving. Infact I had just had a baby in november through casarean. Retreat at Valencia Apartment Homes took me through the run around. I had to keep resending over documents and then I had to wait for rentcafe to respond to me with a decision. Then they started asking for my tax information, stating they need it because they have to report on it every year. I found it very odd for them to be asking for my tax information as I explain to them no where I have ever moved demand my tax information when I provided pay stub. At this point I kept looking for apartments because it was getting closer and closer to my leasing being up and I didn't trust Retreat at Valencia Apartment Homes.I finally found another apartment complex when I had no problem with the paperwork. I completed it one day and moved in a couple days later. I contacted Retreat at Valencia Apartment Homes and let Camy know I was not going to go through with the apartment there again because they are requiring my tax information and I found that very odd for and apartment complex. She stated she know but that's just how they are. Then she told me I will be getting a refund of my $65 and my $250. I waited two like she said and nothing was return so I try disputing it and they only gave me back the $65.00. The next month I reach out to the complex and spoke with the manager and she told me to expect a check in two weeks because it is coming from corporate. Still nothing so I reach out to rent mcafe and they stated that they see my refund but the manager there has not process the refund yet. I reach out to both places over 15 times regarding the matter and still no refund yet.

Concord Rents I moved out and never received a bill so I called several time to inquire of my status not wanting to mess up my credit and was told it would

I moved out and never received a bill so I called several time to inquire of my status not wanting to mess up my credit and was told it would come soo I lived at Heritage park apartments for 5 years. Unfortunately my ex husband did some activities that went against the lease terms so I was given a notice to vacate. I moved out before the beginning of the following month so I would not be charged rent fees. With my lease agreement I chose to pay an option of a one time fee if I left before my term was up and now I am being charged that fee plus rent for May . I moved out 4/30! I contacted the leasing office several times after I moved out to inquire about any fees and was always told someone would reach out to me. Well it wasn't until end of July I receive a bill of $5,011.93 stating it was my final notice when I never even received a first notice. When I called the number on the letter I was told that I didn't leave a forwarding mail but all my other mail was forwarded by the USPS and so was the final notice. I am also being charged for carpet replacement when the carpet has to be replaced anyway and it was only cleaned by the rental company 2 times of the 5 years I lived there. They agree to clean your carpet every lease renewal yet I didn't receive that. I set up a payment plan to pay off my debit and was told it would not affect my credit or rental history but I when I tried to rent another home it shows up on my credit as a "write off" when I was informed of my balance 3 months after move out because I called and not once did anyone try calling me my phone number has not changed nor has my email. And I am being asked to pay for something the company put as a "write off" and incorrect charges. I need this fixed asap so I can move on with my rental history! Account number***. I will pay what I owe but not all the extra charges that are being incorrectly charged. I have been trying to contact the billing department for days to make a payment and close my account but no one is ever available . I have left numerous messages and emails?

Concord Rents I became a tenant at regatta bay on Dec 15 2019

I became a tenant at regatta bay on Dec 15 2019. Prior to becoming a tenant I was asked to sign my contract as I did so. I'm currently trying to purchase a home so I contacted the leasing company to as of any penalties I would be responsible for in the event that I have to break my contract although I expect to complete my contract til final day it was then that they realized that a form was missing. The form that gives you 2 options 1 to pay 2 months rent or pay monthly rent until my apartment is rented. This is the form that was never given to me to sign. Now the leasing office is forcing me to sign this form and has threatened to send me a 7 day notice to sign or vacate after 7 days of notice. I feel that it's my legal right to not sign any other forms that were not given to me prior to becoming a tenant. I feel overly stressed to deal with this decision during this pandemic where I have 2 small children one with autism and developmental delays to be threatened to be vacated if I don't sign this form and threatened to interfere with the purchase of my home by reporting to credit bureaus. It their responsibility to provide all necessary documents needed to be signed prior to becoming a tenant not at this moment 7 months into the contract In which had i not mention the possibility of purchasing a home they would had never noticed their mistakes and now they want to force me. My original contract says I must give 60 day notice to vacate and that was my intention to do so. They made clear to me that my contract will be terminated on their behalf and so I should not be held accountable for any fees since it's their decision to do so. I have been a tenant who has paid on time my rent regardless of this pandemic but now I may have to relocate my kids during this pandemic. I can't say I'll stay with family since they have tested positive for COVID and going there would put me and my kids at risk. Please investigate this matter I look forward to hearing from you soon. It would be crucial to have me vacate and hold me accountable for something they failed to do. Thanks in advance. Product_Or_Service: Leasing contract

Concord Rents Unlawful collection of a non debt I applied for an apartment with Concord Rents in Lake Mary, FL,by the name of Lake Sumter

Unlawful collection of a non debt I applied for an apartment with Concord Rents in Lake Mary, FL,by the name of Lake Sumter. They collected application fees and a holding deposit of $350 which states in the online application that it was refundable if the application was denied. After a couple of weeks of countless emails asking for countless of documents and asking for the same documents over again in a disorganized way. I answered every question even regarding $ 1 transaction on my checking account. My answers didnt apparently convinced them and therefore my application was denied based on unverfiable income according to them. I called the rental office to have my holding fee refunded and the manager said she wouldnt refund it. It states clearly that holding fees are refunded if denied. I had my credit card company reverse the funds. Two weeks later I received a call from the rental office asking me if I was interested in reapplying for this property again which I of course replied with a no. Another couple of weeks later I receive a collection notice from their Senior Collector, John C, collecting an outstanding balance. The letter is written without any referral to what they are collecting, the date of said transaction and the reason why. After I contacted Mr. C regarding this supposedly debt which he also refused to stop from collecting, I received a call by the property office manager informing me that my appliaction was denied. As if she didn't even remember that she herself denied my reimbursement weeks ago. This time she didnt even mentioned the intent to collect the $350 holding fee. This company is very disorganized and dishonest in their practice. They collect this holding fee especially in new contructed apartments without even specifying which unit they have available and supposedly holding for you. I was promised a personal video tour that was never made and after I called back inquiring about it nobody did nothing. They are illegally requesting a payment that I dont owe and I wish they stop threatening to report it to the credit bureaus or a third party collection agency. If the matter isn't resolve satisfactoriIy I am prepare to take them to small claim courts to be decided by the court. I have every email and information needed to resolve this claim.

Concord Rents I have made multiple complaints to the property management regarding extremely bad roach issues

I have made multiple complaints to the property management regarding extremely bad roach issues. Also no one has ever changed my air filter. I am writing to you concerning the severe roach issue at Spring Lake Cove apartments in Fruitland park, FL. I have sent numerous of complaints regarding the issue of the roaches the very first email I sent was on 12/02 the day after we moved in noting the issue. I have been assured every time the roach issue would be taken care of. We receive monthly letters in our door stating we are getting monthly routine pest control. I am make sure I am off the day they claim it is supposed to happen every month and they have only came a total of 3 times. They only came once I send very nasty emails and 2 out of 3 times the pest control guys states they can see there is a roach problem and they will set up an appointment to come back into spray. That never happened, the 3rd time a very nice man came and sprayed the kitchen and bathrooms. I even have dead roaches in my oven clock that the pest control guy said they would take note of and have replaced. That never happened either. It is very sickening to open the medicine cabinet to get my toothbrush and see a roach on my tooth brush. I am also told the air filters are supposed to be changed every 3 months and it has not been done even once because the maintenance guy states the screws are stripped and he cannot get the cover off of it. As a result my finance and my 4 month old are having extreme allergy issues. I am paying close to 1,000 dollars a month to live an APARTMENT, not even a house, but an APARTMENT. I would not mind living here and paying that price if it was roach free which it should be. My neighbors have the same issue and they even state they have sent multiple emails about the issue and we are all told "We will send someone in until I gets fixed" It is ridiculous the price I am having to pay and be forced to accidentally step on them while walking, open my cabinets and see them sitting in my CLEAN dishes, and on my tooth brushes. The only thing I am asking is for the pest control guys to come in and fix the issue which is the ENTIRE building. If you ask everyone they all say they have the issue. Spraying one apartment is not fixing anything. Also I would like for them to come and change my air filter once like they claim they do every 3 months but it never happens. Also, if they cannot get the dead roaches out of my oven clock (that was there the day we moved in) then I would like a new stove. That is disgusting to see a dead roach in your face while you are trying to cook.

Concord Rents Concord Management kept more than half of my deposit for no reason

Concord Management kept more than half of my deposit for no reason. It took them 70 days to issue me a check. When we moved in back in 2014, during the walk in, we noticed that the carpet had some issues and some rips. So we documented the issues in move in / move out form and I am attaching a copy of it here. When we moved in, the carpet was already 2 years old and by the time we moved out it was 8 years old and we kept it in excellent condition. Why did they charge me $100 for repair and $150 for cleaning. I have taken many pictures to show the condition of it last day of my lease. During the 6 years we stayed at this property we had to call twice to get the carpet repaired. Each time they came and glued a piece and each time the rips got bigger and bigger. Two months right before we move out, we placed a maintenance request for carpet repair and the manager Krista told us to not worry about it and not to vacuum that area. If I still have 2 months left on my lease and there was an issue in my unit they should have taken care of it. You can not say later that the carpet was damaged and you charge me for it. Also when we signed a new lease back in 2018 we declined the bundle including parking space and we returned in person the parking sticker and my parking space was assigned immediately to another resident. If you look at my payment history from 2018 and on you will see that we only paid the total rent and nothing extra...Betty Ann was the manager who received our red parking sticker from my wife. I was charged $55 for not returning these stickers? Why? I have attached document showing a part of lease with bundle info. They also towed our car twice and I end up paying $250 to get my car back. I was coming home one evening and some car was parked in my assigned space so I called the office and no one answered and I called the towing guy and he said he is busy so he told me to park in guest parking. Well I recorded this conversation on my phone and the towing man came 3 or 4 hours later and instead of towing the car in my space he took my car in guess parking. In the complex policy it says resident can not park in guest parking space but it does not tell you where you are supposed to park if you come home and find your parking space taken. I tried to take the towing company to small claim and the judge said to take this with apartment complex and their policy is not fair. This complex gets fedral funds from Hud and government to keep it affordable but yet their rent is so high and they thing they don't tell you that you need to pay extra $40 for each parking space and $70 for washer and dryer rent and $70 for cable and so on... they wrote their policy in a way to rip people off and scam them any way they can.

Concord Rents Questionable sales practices

Questionable sales practices. Taking advantage of lower income individuals during a pandemic. Questionable sales practices. Of course, I didn't read the Reviews about the Grove Park Apartments complex Located on Lennard road in Port st lucie florida..until after I had applied. I take those with a grain of salt , usually. However, after my experience , I do find their sales practices questionable. Now the city of Port st lucie was not a choice for concord management here on the Complaintsboard.com website. The Maitland office appears to be the corporate office that is why I simply chose that location. I used my savings account when applying ..this company does insist on a bank account number to apply and then the applicant must agree to pay a non, refundable application fee and a holding fee of 300 dollars to be put on a waiting list. Now when I applied the 85 dollars appeared to be deducted out of my savings immediately ..I received communication that it accepted my payment and then I was preliminarily approved I even thought the message said a partial background check had been completed . Then the next day the money was back in my bank account... I've seen that happen sometimes with other purchases and I just figured it would be deducted again in a day or so. Meanwhile I received an email with an attachment to sign of an addendum basically saying all of the reasons this company does not have to return the holding fee of 300 dollars ... I was told I wouldn't be put on the waiting list until I sign that and turn it back into them. I hustled to sign,it and leave it in the lock box. This was a Saturday when I left the paper work. On Monday in the afternoon , I received some kind of auto terminated cancellation notice doe to NSF funds in my bank account I think it's strange that they waited. until they got the signed paperwork .My access to their account on Grove parks website was cancelled, as well so I couldn't view the information or how they entered it . I know I entered the information correctly and had the funds available. I did express my concerns. in an email and received no response. I checked with my bank and no attempts had been made to deduct the money on my account when they said they did. I did change my bank account and told the bank I was going to do that ..after I no longer had access to their website, and was told my application was cancelled I had never even spoken to a representative on the phone ..and given the reviews on their website... I was concerned that they may be scamming people. I did offer to pay 85 dollar application but only by money order because the did say that that was non refundable. No response to,my email. just a bill for 255 dollars, with the reason being No apartment available a. My requested move in date wasn't even until June. I actually don't think I should have to pay them anything at this point. The did absolutely nothing for me except waste my time and add extra stress to my life during a national pandemic.

Concord Rents Unfair treatment, billing practices

Unfair treatment, billing practices. Unfair & totally unempathic treatment. Excessively charged for unforeseen circumstances. Concord Rents & Trails at Loma are the definition & perfect example of corporate greed. They value money over the human condition. 2020 has been a unprecedented year for all. I lost my job due to COVID during the second peak starting in august. During this peak unemployment benefits were not boosted & I started receiving unemployment benefits of 275 a week. Unable to pay rent on time I reached out to my apartment complex seeing as I had been a resident for over 4 years I expected understanding & help. I had no plans on leaving. I figured I was a college educated young man with a strong resume I should bounce back quick & find a job. I was wrong on both counts. What followed was three months of continuous back & forth discussion s between me & the apartment complex. They threatened me with eviction almost every week. Once they gave me one & a half hours to come up with almost 1700 dollars or be filed for eviction that same day. Whenever I brought up the moratorium they said it wasn't a "blanket moratorium" & that they could still evict. Remember I have been a resident here for 4 years. Even though I was making payments whenever I could to the point that I was almost caught up. They charged me over 600 dollars in total additional late fees. Which made 0 sense to me as I was literally making 275 a week on unemployment putting me in a deeper hole. They were literally digging the hole I was in deeper while asking me to fill it. My lease ended on November 30th. I lost my job august 23rd. I had let them know earlier in July I had planned to renew. They had even thanked me & sent me my lease. Thank god I hadn't signed it! Around October when I noticed that the job search was not going as well as possible I told them I may not be able to renew & might have to actually move back with my parents due to me losing everything. November 1st I told them i had located work but would not start until end of November so I could not renew. My unemployment had one week left. I had run through savings. I had nothing. Melissa in management mentioned sometimes there was a fee but maybe she could do something about it. I have since moved out. I now live with my parents. The other day I received a bill from them. The fee that Melissa spoke of "liquidated damages for failure to properly notify management of ending my lease" they charged me 2458 dollars for that. To make it worse it turns out that they could've charged me a lesser amount of a little over a thousand which is still ridiculous but chose the larger amount. Even though I lived there for 4 years they are trying to charge me for common wear & tear. I owe one month of rent for November that I was unable to pay totaling 1300 & other fees that I accepted totaling about 2500. But the extra fees they added for normal wear & tear & the above mentioned liquidated damages for late notice brought the total to almost 6000 dollars. I honestly couldn't believe it. 2500 dollars because I lost my job due to COVID & couldn't renew like I intended. Corporate America does not care about the working class. Please avoid concord rent owned apartments! I can provide images of the emails of them threatening eviction & me begging them for more time. I have at least 12 of them. One day I asked about the late fees & instead they told me to pay it all that same day instead even though the week prior we agreed to a payment schedule. I really couldn't believe my reality. A place I called home for 4 years. I used to tell my friends "my apartment is the wave" y'all gotta move here. Look at it now.
