I bought a used Kyocera P4040DN from computershop.eu — including a paid 2-year warranty. The printer arrived with a catastrophic defect in the developer unit. Repair costs exceed the price of the entire device. In practice, I was sold a 20-kg piece of scrap metal plus a useless warranty.
After I reported the defect and asked for repair or replacement, I initially received polite promises from Matei Costin (costin.matei@interlink.ro) and Andrei Savulescu (andrei.savulescu@interlink.ro). Immediately after that: total radio silence. No answers. No processing. No refund. No warranty service. Nothing.
My personal and honest opinion after this experience:
This seller takes money for defective hardware and paid warranties and disappears the moment you claim your rights. This is, in my view, not just unprofessional — it feels like a deliberate business model built on misleading customers.
I strongly advise everyone to avoid computershop.eu at all costs.
I would never give them a single euro again.
The case has been reported to the police and legal action is underway.
