Unfair business practices
PLEASE BE AWARE of this companies website! ! I was charged $125.00+ for USVitalRecords.org to send my information to Vitacheck. I could have done that myself and savied $125.00. I did hear from Vitalcheck where I need to fill out another form and then pay further fees plus have the document notorized, Had I gone straight the the recorder and Vitacheck, I should have only had to pay $17.00 for the same certificate, plus a notary fee!
I would consider USVitalRecords.org a SCAM!
Desired outcome: I would like my $125.00 back or at least a large portion of it. Otherwise I will report this company to the Better Business Bureau and possibly the Federal Government.
Refund
Hi my name is Carol Alexander. On October 26 28th I ordered a marriage certificate. Was charged 137.00. I still have not received the certificate or a refund. It is now December 3rd. The certificate is for my marriage on may 4th 1985. In California.
I don't need it now. I have email three times and called three times left my name and phone number. No one has answered the phone or my emails.
Refund not received for birth certificate
Order #12221; ref #20210122CA6D96USPABT. Order cancelled within 3 days of placing order. He has no photo ID to submit to proceed with the application.
Numerous attempts have been made by me to recoup my money for this order. I have made several calls and received no return calls or action on their part. I have filled a refund request and still no response. I paid for this application for my son, Terry Dean Wilson Jr; because he had no money to process this application himself. I just want a refund, my son can pursue a new birth certificate himself; if he so desires in the future.

Request for death certificate

I ordered a copy of the death certificate of my mother on the USVitalRecords.org site and paid $125.00 on my charge card. I have called and left messages and emailed constantly without a response. To date over 3 months later and I have NOT received the certificate!
I would like to receive the certificate or get a refund.

I ordered a birth cert. for my son Patrick Bennett and never got it. I did this in May 2019 and I found that we didnt need it with in a day so I sent an email to cancel the order. I nor my son Patrick sent any documents to you so I should never have been charged for this service. Now I have talked with Donna, Vikcie and the superviser Monica whe has charged my Capital One account even tho I never recieved anything from this company. I was charged 89.73 on my card. After talking to Monica she told me she know I cancelled this order and they never received the documnets Monica didnt care she was going to get this money from me. My computer went on the blink and I have lost any corresondence i I had with this company. Im sure they have it but wont let me have it. All I want is my credit card to be credited this amount. It states that before you will send anything we have to provide proof of who the person is asking for brith cert.. If Monica has proof of this please send it to me. My email is [protected]@mail.com. birth certificate request
BEWARE! Total waste of money! RUN! You can contact Health Dept yourself and pay a much smaller amount and half the time. I thought this was legit company. Paid $49 for NOTHING! I have been waiting a month and still no birth certificate. Called and got run around. They blamed NJ Health Dept. What on earth did I pay for! I had to still pay $25 for certificate.
April 30, 2019 made request. They emailed me application I apparently could get online and just as quickly. Paid them $49 for what?

.Money was taken out of my debit account but never received birth certificate. I filled out papers on 4-16-18 and money was deducted but never received birth

Wasted money and no promised certificate
I ordered birth certificate from the website www.usvitalrecords.org. After that I waited for the call, but no one contacted me. As well as they didn’t send it to me at all. I got only one email from them, where they promised to deliver it within 7 working days and left the phone number, but it was invalid. These people are scammers and liars, who take money and provide nothing. Please post your comments about this company.

I actually got my birth certificate with no problem. The only delay was on my end getting the form notarized and faxed back.
I realized after reading all the reviews This is a scam, I try to cancel after purchasing to get my marriage licence within 24hrs but I couldn't talk to anyone only answering machine says no cancellation and refurnd. Over $85 for a certificate too expensive but no costumer service ever! I will claim with my credit card company to refund and no more future charge
I have not received anything from them. It has been 3 weeks now now and I'm frustrated. I received the initial email and that was all. I did get a phone message to call [protected] ext. 234 each time I call it goes directly to voice mail.
After posting my complaint I got a couple of calls from udvitalrecords here to my cell phone in Guatemala. A step in the right direction. But despite my placing several calls to them and getting their answering machine I was unable to make contacts.
Today I was contacted by someone from "VitalChek Express Certificate Service" They placed several calls to my cell phone in La Antigua, Guatemala and despite 3 interruptions of communication -not unusual in this country- I was able to speak to a real person, Diana/Deanna, who was very helpful. She was seeking clarification re my request re the place of my marriage and after some discussion she resolved the problem. Soon after I received an order confirmation email from the company giving me further information. I am relieved and more hopeful.
Someone suggested that US Vital Records just passes on the request to another company----USVitalChek? or is it one and same company?
On 1/26/2016 I ordered a marriage certificate and received a "Vital Certificate Order Complete" notice. I paid 57.87 and 52.25 for UPS delivery. Have not heard from them. I call their number in English and Spanish and get an answering machine that says they will get back to me. I am still waiting
