ServerSupply.com Dell MD32 controller from Serversupply.

Our company purchased a Dell MD32 controller from Serversupply. The person who was supposed to install the unit could not come into our office because he was sick and didn't want to infect anyone. By the time he came into the office the 30-day warranty window had expired. I contacted Server Supply by email informing them of our situation of receiving a nonfunctioning controller upon delivery. I offered to send the unit back to them so they could see that it was not abused requesting a working replacement. They refused. I believe we were cheated. I don't write reviews often but I felt I needed to warn other buyers to beware.

Desired outcome: Replace the defective unit with an operational one.

ServerSupply.com Disappointed with ServerSupply: Phone arrived without power adapter and poor customer service

Ordered a phone from ServerSupply and was pretty excited to receive it. However, when it arrived, I was disappointed to find out that it didn't come with a power adapter. I mean, what's the point of having a phone if you can't even charge it, right? I tried contacting their customer service to see if they could help me out, but they told me that they didn't carry the adapter and that I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee if I wanted to return the phone. I mean, come on, that's just ridiculous. So now I'm stuck with a phone that I can't even use. Not cool, ServerSupply. Not cool at all.

ServerSupply.com Disappointing Experience with ServerSupply: Poor Customer Service and Overpriced Products

Yo, I gotta say, my experience with ServerSupply was straight up whack. Like, I wasn't feeling it at all. First off, their customer service was straight up garbage. I had a problem with the product I got from them and they were no help at all. And don't even get me started on the price. They charged me way too much for what I got. And then, when I tried to return it, they made me pay for the shipping myself. Like, what kind of nonsense is that? I wouldn't recommend doing business with ServerSupply, fam. Save yourself the trouble and find a better supplier.

ServerSupply.com Disappointing Experience with ServerSupply: Wrong Model Sent and Poor Customer Service

I recently ordered some power supplies for my servers from ServerSupply, but unfortunately, they sent me the wrong model number. I specifically requested the exact model number, but they sent me a different one that doesn't fit. When I contacted them about the issue, they told me that their computer system indicated that it was a replacement for the part number I requested. However, when my tech tried to install it, it wouldn't fit at all.

I was really disappointed with the situation because I stressed how important it was that I received the correct parts as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any response from them, which made the situation even more frustrating.

ServerSupply.com Warning: Terrible Experience with ServerSupply - Don't Waste Your Money!

I gotta tell ya, I had a pretty rough experience with ServerSupply. I was really excited to get my hands on a new server with an original HP warranty, but when it arrived, it was totally dead! I was so disappointed. When I reached out to their customer service team, they told me that the warranty had expired and there was nothing they could do to help me out. I couldn't believe it!

To make matters worse, the server they sent me was a total piece of junk. It was two years old, put together with non-matching parts, and covered in scratches and dust. I felt like I had been totally screwed over. I mean, I spent $3,418 on this thing!

I decided to take action and filed consumer protection claims against ServerSupply. I'm even considering suing them, because this whole experience has been such a headache. I just want to warn other people out there to be careful when dealing with this company. Don't make the same mistake I did and end up out of pocket for a crappy, useless server.

ServerSupply.com Buyer Beware: ServerSupply Fails to Honor Warranties on Faulty Seagate HDs

I bought 21 Seagate HD's from ServerSupply back in August. It was a big purchase for me, and I was excited to get them all set up. However, less than 6 months later, 5 of those drives have failed. I was pretty upset about it, especially since I had spent so much money on them.

When I contacted ServerSupply about the issue, they told me that there was nothing they could do because it was past the 30 day warranty period. I was pretty frustrated by this, especially since it wasn't just one drive that had failed - it was five of them! I mean, come on, that's a pretty high failure rate.

To make matters worse, I contacted Seagate about the issue and learned that ServerSupply is not an authorized dealer of Seagate products. This means that Seagate would not honor their warranty, even though the drives were Seagate products. I was really disappointed by this, as I had trusted ServerSupply to provide me with quality products.

Overall, I would not recommend ServerSupply to anyone looking to purchase computer hardware. Their lack of support and failure to honor warranties is a major red flag, and I would hate to see anyone else go through what I did.

ServerSupply.com Nightmare Experience with ServerSupply.com: A Total Rip-Off

I gotta say, my experience with serversupply.com was a total nightmare. I mean, this website is a total rip-off, and I had to learn that the hard way. I placed an order for a hard disk, and at first, they told me that the part was in stock and charged me for it. But then, the very next day, they sent me an email saying that the part was actually out of stock and that I could either cancel my order or wait for a whole month for delivery. Can you believe that?

And to make matters worse, the amount they charged me was non-refundable! I mean, what kind of scam is this? I was so frustrated and angry, I couldn't believe it. I mean, I trusted this website, and they just let me down like that. It's just not right.

So, if you're thinking about using serversupply.com, I would definitely think twice. I mean, if they can't even keep their inventory straight and charge you for products they don't even have, then what else are they doing wrong? It's just not worth the risk, in my opinion.

ServerSupply.com Terrible Experience with ServerSupply: False Advertising and No Customer Support

I had a terrible experience with ServerSupply. I was so excited to order 8 IBM Fiber Hard Drives Dual Channel from them. I waited a few weeks to install them because I had to schedule downtime. When I finally installed them, I was so disappointed to find out that they were all single channel drives. I was so frustrated that I tried to reach out to ServerSupply, but they never answered back. I even went to my AMEX and BBB, but I didn't get any positive results. It was so frustrating because the part number on the box did not match the part number on the hard drive. I was so disappointed and I felt like I wasted my money. I would not recommend ServerSupply to anyone. If you see a good deal on their website, don't be fooled. Run away from it as fast as you can.

ServerSupply.com Unreliable and Unresponsive: My Experience with ServerSupply

I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend ServerSupply. We ordered some parts for our server from them, and they said they had them in stock. We went ahead and processed their payment and sent them the proof of payment, but then they hit us with some bad news. Apparently, they tested the parts and found out they were faulty. So they said they'd reimburse us.

But here's the thing: it's been over two months now, and we haven't seen a dime. We've tried reaching out to them on Skype and through email, but it seems like they've blocked us or something. Thomas, the guy we were talking to, kept saying we should give them some time and that they were waiting for a credit check to come through. But now it seems like they're just ignoring us.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this supplier to anyone. It's been a real headache dealing with them, and we're still out the money we spent on those faulty parts. Save yourself the trouble and go with someone else.

ServerSupply.com Terrible Customer Service: My Experience with ServerSupply

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with ServerSupply. I ordered some merchandise from them and was left in the dark about where it was shipped. I tried emailing them multiple times, but it seemed like my messages were just disappearing into the void. And when I finally got through to them on the phone, they treated me like I was a total bother. I mean, come on, I just wanted to know where my stuff was!

Eventually, I did get one reply from someone at the site, but it was pretty unhelpful. They just asked "What's this all about?" and didn't seem to care about my previous emails. I even sent them copies of my previous inquiries, but I never heard back from them.

Honestly, unless you happen to live on Long Island and can just drive over to pick up your merchandise, I'd recommend avoiding these guys. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.

ServerSupply.com Disappointing Experience with ServerSupply: Defective Hard Drives and Poor Customer Service

So, I bought a couple of Fujitsu U320 147GB 10K hard drives from ServerSupply as spares for my SCSI disc array. I was pretty excited to get them, but I didn't end up using them until about 80 days after I bought them. Unfortunately, when I finally got around to using them, I discovered that they were defective. I was pretty bummed out about it, but I figured it wouldn't be a big deal to exchange them for some working ones.

Well, I was wrong. When I contacted Serversupply.com about the defective drives, they told me that they couldn't exchange them because it had been more than 30 days since I bought them. I was pretty frustrated by this, but I figured I'd try to work something out with them. I suggested that they take both drives back and just send me one replacement drive, but they refused that as well.

I understand that they have a 30 day return policy, but it still feels like they're selling shoddy merchandise and refusing to stand behind it. I mean, I get it, they're technically within their rights to refuse my request, but it just seems like bad business to me. If they were a good merchant, they would have done something to help me out.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with ServerSupply. I don't think I'll be buying anything from them again in the future.

It has been an absolute disaster serversupply.com. This website is a complete scam, and I found this out the hard way. I ordered a hard disk from their site.

Firstly they confirmed the part availability and charged us for the product. The next day they emailed me saying that the product I ordered was out of stock and that I should either cancel my order or wait another month for delivery!

The charged amount turned out to be non-refundable! This is a complete scam!

ServerSupply.com bait and switch pricing

I ordered several parts from serversupply.com and immediately I recieved an invoice with my payment details. All the parts said they were in stock and would be shipping immediately. Two days later I get a call from a serversupply representative telling me that one of the parts I had ordered was out of stock. She said they would be able to get it in an additional 2 to 3 days but that the price would be several hundred dollars more. To me this was unacceptable as I had purchased the part and paid with my credit card two days prior at one price and now they're trying to tell me that I have to pay more.

In the end I had to cancel my entire order with them. They refused to honor the price that I had purchased the equipment from their website at and their customer service representatives refused to do anything. I will never do business with serversupply.com again and I don't recommend that anyone else does either. Terrible business practices and terrible customer service.

Do not buy anything from this website www.serversupply.com, it's a real scam! Too bad I did not read the reviews!
Our company purchased three servers from Serversupply and two of them arrived completely dead. When we wanted to return them we found out that warranty they gave us was expired! These scammers said that there was nothing they could do. They cheated us, sold us broken servers with an expired warranty and refused to refund our money. We reported these scammers and will sue them if they will not give us our money back. Avoid at all costs!

ServerSupply.com I found that they sent me a scratched up used HARD DRIVE

Stay away from these guys. They did not send a tracking/confirmation email until I requested one. When it finally arrived 10 days after ordering, I found that they sent me a scratched up used HARD DRIVE WD 1600.It were made 06 Nov.2007.They sell usedREFURBISHED DRIVE.Their website and invoice (enclosed in the package!) clearly stated "new". When emailed they did not reply. When I called their Long Island City NY telephone number, they told me that I had made the mistake by sending it back! When asked if they would follow up by sending out a "new" unit they said no. When asked what about my order, they stated, "We will issue a refund"... I can only wonder when!

ServerSupply.com Definitely not a company I'll do business with again

"Definitely not a company I'll do business with again. I'll spend more elsewhere rather than risk not getting my money back for a defective/damaged product because it was a little late being returned. Kind of difficult to trust a company that sees no problem with these kinds of business practices. A company that cares more about the bottom line than customer satisfaction. I am sure that their motto is - There's a sucker born every minute... They will probably lose more because of my lack of repeat business than the $55 the motherboard cost. Which by the way, I paid more for a new one rather than used because I wanted the software, cables, manual, etc. but all that was included was 1 blank cd, 1 sata cable and 1 I/O shield. Out of the numerous on-line transactions I have completed, this order was without a doubt the worst experience I have had... EVER!

ServerSupply.com Will never use server supply again

I ordered a used replacement HDD for a Dell D520 computer. After re-formatting the drive and loading my operating system, I ran the drive for about a week when it started throwing continuous errors, BSOD and so on. After running several disk checks, I realized that this was a failing HDD with many bad sectors and clusters. Much worse than my original HDD that this one was purchased to replace.

I emailed Server Supply with an explanation of the problems and a picture of the screen showing the errors asking for a replacement, but never received a response.

I chalked this up to a bad experience and will never use server supply again but I also want to make sure anyone else who considers using them can at least consider my experience before doing so.

Your complaint is contradictory. You said it ran fine for a week. There's no way anyone could know it was going to fail. Maybe your computer is suffering from hardware corruption due to failing components or some other problem. Nobody knows.

You should have checked the drives' internal controller to see how many hours were on it and whether it had suffered any read errors in the past, before using it. But you don't sound like a tech so.
