Red Bow Photo Will Not Pay Employees

I along with many others, worked the Presidential Inauguration in 2008, in the freezing cold, I have yet to be paid or acknowledged, they did on February 24th 2009 tell me my tax forms that they provided (1099) was wrong and asked us to resubmit a (W-9) which is wrong, since then nothing . I believe it is time that we band together and put pressure on the North Carolina or the US Attorney to stop this company and bring criminal action it is plain that they have no intention of paying people they hire.

I worked for Reggie Bowers when he first started Red Bow in Charlotte. I shot numerous team pictures as well as action work over a variety of youth football games. As I questioned payment his behavior became unprofessional, beligerant and hostile. The quality of work being posted for sale at the Panther games was pathetic.
I was never compensated for my time or efforts and was fired for being difficult to get along with. That after months of calls about payment that never was made.
Look up "shyster" in the dictionary and his photo should be attached.

I have not received any reply YET from Reggie, CEO of Red Bow regarding payment. I understand he might be busy, but it's been since April that all Boston photographers have been waiting for payment. Red Bow Photo Not paid!!!

I got this email from Reginald "Reggie" Bowser last week:

Please continue to send me these messages and post slanderous statements
online. Every one you send will add another month to your sentence. We're
up to 81 messages at this point.

For the record, once again, we will not pay you a dime because we don't owe
you anything. I've implored you to sue me. Of course, you haven't done
that because you know we don't owe you anything.

You have no idea how hard it is to exercise the discipline necessary to deal
with someone like you and remain focused on my business and family. I'm
doing it though, because of the strength you've given me. I refuse to fail
because of YOU, Jason Row. Thank you so much. I swear I mean every word of
this.

I will see you in court. And, I'll come visit you in jail, too. Can't wait
to see you in an orange jumpsuit.

Jamie, Jeff, Officer Graham and Dain, I'm sorry. I couldn't refrain from
sending this. I had a weak moment, but it will be the last one I send to
him regardless of what he says or does.

Wow Jason I thought you would have been paid by now.

Reginald was trying to get me to remove the old post on here and I refused till he paid me, next thing I know it's gone from complaintsboard.com. Anyways he's made numerous promises to send me my check (about $1300.00) and always with a date of 2 weeks or by the end of the month or some other lie.

Glad to see everyone still wanting to get paid and not giving up. Keep in touch.

I still have NOT been paid either. This is ridiculous! I have tried to call Reginald numerous times, and still havent gotten a response.

Red Bow Photo Still Haven't Been Paid!

There was a complaint ("Red Bow Photo - None Payment") about this already but apparently Complaints Board was pressured into taking it down... well here is a new one about the exact same thing. I have yet to be paid by this company. Regardless of whether people were paid or not, the complaints were still valid for a company that waits 5 months to pay its employees.

Red Bow Photo is a company based out of Charlotte, NC, that works/ed fan photography for professional sports franchises such as the Anaheim Ducks, LA Angels, Seattle Mariners, and Boston Bruins (although I know for a fact they no longer have contracts with the first two, despite the advertising on their website), as well as for various one-time events and school sports.

Here is my original complaint from June:
"I worked from April 6 through May 30 and so far have only been compensated for my first week of photos. We were originally told we would be paid every 15 days, however the first payment was more than a week late. Our second payment was continuously delayed until eventually two other payments periods passed as well. So far I have not received any other payment despite Red Bow Photo's regional director promising me repeatedly that the check would be in the mail "in a few days." Reginald Bowser himself called me and gave me a date of June 22, which has now come and gone with no progress made. There are at least 20 of us here in Anaheim with the same exact situation."

And here is my updated complaint from 9/3/09:
"Since then I along with likely all of the other Red Bow photographers received an email on July 3 that attempted to provide "reasons" for which we had not been paid, promising our money and 15% interest for late fees by the end of the month. On July 29 I received another email with very specific instructions on how to get my check involving my approval of what they say they owe me as well as a signed statement that once they send me the check they will no longer owe anything to me. I followed Bowser's instructions and received a reply on August 7 with the amount they said the owe me (which was correct so far as I could tell). After I responded saying I agreed with the amount, I have received no further communication from Red Bow, nor have I received my check, several weeks later."

Since then, some people have been paid, however I have not. It's inexcusable that this has happened and that just because a company pays you after 5 months of owing you money that that justifies being able to take down an entire comment post.

Reginal Bower, owner of Red Bow Photo, has never paid me for my work, photos he uses on line or my time. I have been told at least 7 times "the check is in the mail" or "I have it in my hand & will put the payment in the mail today." This man is a LIAR! He will no longer answer or return my calls. He does not have a NC business liscence for Red Bow Photo.
WARNING; Do NOT do business with him or his company !

Try this one - I was an office contractor for them and after four months was asked by the contract agency not to return. They never paid the bill to the agency! So now after 9 devistating months of unemployment, I am finally working again. Thanks Mr Bowser
