Parallon Vendor credentials

I have been an Respiratory Therapist for 21 years and recently changed my profession. I am now a clinical liaison and I go to certain hospitals and evaluate their history to see if they meet the qualifications to come to my facility. I have very little contact with the patient, no possible way to get to the drugs or any other hands on therapy with the patient. In order to obtain vendor credentials in order to go in the hospitals, parallon has a set of requirements that must be fulfilled before you receive your credentials. I have worked on this for 4 months, going from this side of town to that side if town gathering info that isn't even pertinent to what I'm doing. The final straw came the other day when I was told by one parallon worker that I was finally done . I was excited that I could now go in the hospital with the proper credentials until the following Monday I was told they would not accept my background check done by the state using my fingerprints. I have to now go through parallons PRIVATE company to have my background check done and pay out of pocket for it. No one can explain why the states national data base isn't good enough, they can't tell me who is holding all my personal Information, how it's being kept meaning is all this personal information secure. There are other vendor companies out there and this one is by far the worst! I will give up my hospital before I give these sharks another penny. You originally pay 225.00 to get the credential and if that isn't enough then they come up with a convenient way to say what you've done isn't good enough and you have to do it through us and pay us some more. This company needs to be investigated ASAP and I will do everything I can to make sure that happens.

Parallon UNprofessional company

I applied for a job with this company, who goes through their clients websites to post employment positions.
After I applied, I was contacted via email for a phone interview. After I had the phone interview, I was contacted via email to come in for a personal interview.

So, the day I go to the specified place, at the specified time, I go in and tell the woman there that I had an interview for the position I applied for. She knew NOTHING about any interviews, she said she would go in and ask around. After sitting there for 30 minutes or longer, someone finally came out.

Another woman came back out and set me up on a computer for testing. After I got through with my testing, she said she would contact the person who wanted to interview me.

I sat there another 30 minutes before my interviewer showed up. The interviewer I had was the SAME one I had talked to on the phone interview, and asking me the SAME questions that was asked over the phone! Then after the questions were all done, I was told there would be a second interview by someone who worked in the department that the position was in. So I waited.

The second interviewer came in and asked me the SAME EXACTY questions, for the THIRD time! Do these people NOT communicate with each other?

Then, after answering the SAME questions for the third time, I was told that Human Resources would be calling me for a final phone interview. I asked when this phone interview would take place, and was told "soon". So I thanked them and left.

I waited one week for this final phone interview from HR. They never called. I emailed the person I had my original interview with, asking when this final interview would take place. To this day, I have not received any response.

I waited another week. Still, NO response. I sent another email, asking about this final interview. To this day, again, no response. A few days later I called the number on the card I was given, and got an automated system. There were no extensions or departments listed on the automated system, in which the interviews worked, and their names were not given on the automated system.

There was NO operator or main number/person to contact from this automated system. The HR department and a few people were the ONLY ones listed as contacts and had extensions. So I left messages for a few of the HR people to please contact me about this final interview that was supposed to happen.

Three weeks later, still NO response of any kind from these rude and UN PROFESSIONAL people!

Just as well I DO NOT get a job there, if this is how they treat people!

If they treat applicants this rude and unprofessionally, I can only imagine the horror's that go on there with how they treat employees!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
