Motorcycle Mall / Failure to Disclose Interest Rate

1 Review updated:

I purchased A Yamaha Stratoliner back in August of 2006 during that time the sale person nor the finace person mention that the interest rate would shoot up to 21% after paying 99 dollars a month. So basically I paid 99 bucks for 2 years where they made 2400 dollars and I still have to pay the same amount when I left motorcycle mall two years later. AS they say buyer beware. SERIOUS

I WOULD LOVE TO TELL YOU THAT YOUR COMMENT IS WRONG AND MISLEADING, BUT THAT WOULD BE A MERE UNDERSTATEMENT. IF YOU WERE TO RECALL YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT THAT FULLY DISCLOSED THIS INFORMATION TO YOU, ALONG WITH A TIER RATING FOR YOUR CREDIT. YOUR CREDIT IF AT 21.99% WOULD BE A TIER D. FURTHERMORE ANYONE WHO FINANCES A $13, 000.00 VEHICLE AND MAKES MINIMUM MONTHLY PAYMENTS CLEARLY PAYS JUST THE INTEREST AND SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A CLASS IN UNDERSTANING SIMPLE CREDIT MANAGEMENT. IN CLOSING YOU SHOULD ALSO REALIZE THAT YOU PAID THE BANK NOT MOTORCYCLE MALL.

This comment from the Motorcycle Mall is very disturbing. I also run a dealership and I would never address or speak to a customer in such a disrespectful and unprofessional manner. The complaining customer may have failed to properly read his or her contract, but the comments made by the Motorcycle Mall were completely unnecessary and undermining (and i must reiterate, UNPROFESSIONAL). I too have done business with the Motorcycle mall recently and experienced rather mediocre service, but fortunately was never spoken to in this way. However, this comment has demonstrated the standards this organization holds and I also will not be returning for any future purchases. I hope management at The Motorcycle Mall realizes these critical issues and makes an effort to correct them - Best of Luck
