Look Fantastic / The Hut & Hermes Courier review: refund

Awful awful customer service, I cancelled an item a few minutes after ordering it but they still attempted to deliver it TWICE despite me rejecting it at my door and telling Hermes I had cancelled it.

Then when I claimed a refund, Look Fantastic said they had not received the parcel back as Hermes had allegedly not taken it back despite me having CCTV footage of the courier taking it back and having issued me with a receipt.

Then when I threatened the Ombudsman Hermes suddenly said they can trace it having been sent back to Look Fantastic, who now confirm they received it back 2 weeks ago, yet they hadn't bothered to send me any acknowledgment or refund and I have had to be proactive, calling managers, receiving stupid pro forma emails back asking me to do surveys about their "service" and stubbornly refusing to do joined up thinking, apologising for not delivery the item to me when they kept missing the point that i'm waiting for them to RETURN it to the company.

Cognitively-challenged, indifferent staff.

Both Hermes and Look Fantastic are rubbish.
I've been told I'll be refunded in a few days, will keep you posted.
