Lastingimpressionsfoam.com Is a SCAM! They sold me a faulty mattress which stated it "Encourages a Deeper Sleep"

The fact is, that I slept worse when I got the mattress because it wasn't in fact the real THING and it was just a replica knock off! You might be wondering why you can save this much $$$ at this site (You save $1, 079.67)

On this item here:

http://www.lastingimpressionsfoam.com/products/Cal-King-Size%3A-10-Inch-Memory-Foam-Mattress.html

Well I can honestly say that you're able to save so much money because the product isn't all that good. It also feels like imported memory foam. I would highly recommend buying a memory foam mattress some where else so that you don't get scammed by lastingimpressionsfoam.com

Also I wouldn't have posted this if they honored their "money back guarantee" but they clearly do not. BE WARNED

LASTINGIMPRESSSIONSFOAM.com = SCAM

www.lastingimpressionsfoam.com Scammed my mother as well. I attempted to buy her a high quality memory foam mattress so that hopefully she would sleep better because she has a really bad back. She said that the mattress feels the same and it's not worth the $ in her opinion

I'm attempting to get a refund back but just like the last guy said. it's pretty hard dealing with lastingimpressionsfoamscammers.com

I purchased my king lasting impressions mattress in January of 2011. it is now March of 2017. This mattress has been a great investment, Back in 2011 i paid $419.00 for this mattress and it has far exceeded my expectations. I do not work for this company nor am i receiving any remuneration for this post. when we are in need of another bed, this will be where I purchase it. thank you lasting impressions foam.com for making a great affordable option.

OMG this is the exact same complaint I have right now. I received my mattress on December 31, opened it January 2 and it has never expanded to the 12" that I ordered. I call at least 2 times a day and have also sent emails with pictures. I also put a dispute on my credit card.

I've purchased 6 of their mattresses over the years and loved the mattresses. I sleep good on them and I feel good. I've referred many people to them. However, I'll never be buying another one ever again. I needed to speak with someone about an issue with my king bed I JUST got. For a whole month now I've sent 9 emails, left 4 voicemails, tried calling dozens of times on different days and times... no one answers the phone and no one responds to the emails or voicemails. I had to dispute the charges oh my credit card. I'm baffled. I recommend going elsewhere.

I love these lasting impression mattressess. so much that i bought 6 of them. I melted them down and formed a nice mattress out of them. It cost a little more that way but it is one way to get a good mattress.

I have no idea how there could be such bad reviews... I got my first one about 5 years ago because my husband and I visited home (Oregon) to see family before my husband deployed for the first time, and the guest room we stayed in had one. I thought it was the best bed I ever tried. Mostly because I am curvy, so a traditional mattress hurt my back in every position, or my boobs on my tummy. So I was going to get a tempure pedic, but my mother advised against it. They bought one and said it slept hot. So anyway, we decided to try lasting impressions and thought you can't go wrong with just a few hundred dollars. If we didn't like it we would use it for our guest room. But we ended up loving it. The only bed I've had so far that didn't hurt my back. Since then, I left my husband two years ago and I bought another for me and one for my daughter. I have a 12in king and she has a 10in full. The only complaint I have is I wish it was deeper because sheets don't fit all that well. And it can sleep hot, but I'm also in Fort Hood, Texas. I've also had guests sleep in my bed while they watch my house when I travel back to Oregon to visit family and they love it too and some have ended up buying one themselves. My roommate bought one for his room too. So I don't know. I guess everyone's body is different. But in my opinion, it's really good for the price. Oh and I read someone's broke? How do you break memory foam? Lol! These come in a zipped up mattress cover that you don't take off. It protects the memory foam. Just saying.

It's my first time buying in lastingimpressionsfoam.com, I found my satisfaction here. It is essential that you explore your options before making any decisions. The market is full of diverse options, and knowing what to look for can make the difference between good sleep and big headache. It is important to do your research and be informed in order to get the best bed.

As a father with 2 kids, I am very satisfied with the memory foam I bought in lastingimpressionsfoam.com. Most of the time I don't need to read bedtime stories to them because they fell asleep already. two thumbs up for people in lastingimpressionsfoam.com

I bought a king size from them. I emailed them to see if they had irregular one to sell, got email back stating they had some with a stain on them but that the cover hides that. I bought it at about 200 off their selling price. it arrived in a few days and we unpacked it there was no smell and we have loved it now for about 3 years and are going to get another one. I dont get these reviews on here.and for the craigslist advertising why not its free and you dont have to jack up prices to pay for free. believe what you want but again I am happy with mine.

I have purchased three Lasting Impressions mattresses a king, a queen and a queen size for our daughter. All are super great and we love them. No breaks, no problems, no smell...nothing but contented sleep every night or nap. We have had ours for three years and would not trade it for any other mattress. Going to buy another for the 5th wheel we bought. I am not paid to advertise for them, but several friends and family have purchased a mattress from Lasting Impressions and also have NO complaints. You have a return guarantee in so many days if you don't like it. The best part is that it comes UPS ASAP to your door shipping included! What a bargain as far as I'm concerned. After all a mattress topper from Wally or BB and beyond cost $200/250 or half this price for a whole mattress from Lasting Impressions. You can spend your money anyway you like and I like Lasting Impressions mattresses. Happy in Texas

I bought a 12" queen size memory foam mattress from lasting impressions in May of 2012. Within 6 months the mattress was useless. The foam got so soft it started sagging everywhere except where our feet lay at night. I emailed the company about the warranty. I was told to send the mattress back so they could look at it to determine if it would be covered. They also wanted pictures of the foundation the mattress sits on to verify its the proper foundation. I bought the foundation at Sams Club which is made especially for memory foam mattresses. I guess my question to the company is How are we supposed to be without a mattress while you determine if its a bad mattress and if the foundation is correct? All I have to say is, they DO NOT stand by their product. They make it impossible to get a replacement or a refund. Im not going to sleep on the floor for weeks until they make a decision so no matter how you look at it, your screwed.

Just want some real answers! So sick of the pandering back and forth. I want to hear some real information about this product not "I got scoliosis and love it" or "I got fibromyalgia and I love it". I am also sick of hearing "my friend got scammed" and "freaking scammers". If the bed broke how did it break? Only one person has said on here how the thing broke down and I am not even sure that is creditable because I have not seen anyone say the same thing.

I just wanted to say that the original complaint is nothing more than childish and immature slander. It's amazing to me that someone would go through such great lengths to write a bad review about a company, make new accounts, and comment on their own complaint! That's just silly.

If you all want real and honest reviews about this company check out their reviews section in their website.

These are honest and truthful reviews (unlike this BS complaint) from real customers all around the globe.
That's all I've got to say about this complaint.

I disagree. Tempurpedic is not a supplier bought product. They make ther own. It is not even patented because they do not want any copycats of their methods or products used to manufacture. It is a premium product at a premium price. A price I might pay, if I could. Cheap knock-offs are just that, however Simmons and Serta do make quality foam beds also, just not as good as a Temp-P. However, it is how you sleep, year after year, that will decide if your bed, no matter what price, that will decide if is was good or bad.

Just a thought for everyone who says that the memory foam mattresses are so cheap. Well, foam is not that expensive when you buy it wholesale and two pieces of foam and an inexpensive cover come to about $100 to $150. It does not matter if it is a Serta, a Tempurpedic or whomever the manufacturer might be. They all buy from the same wholesale distributors or factories that produce the product. Bottom line is that Tempurpedic even though they have an additional foam layer inside is making a tremendous profit off of you. What more do i need to say, having been a buyer, It is the profit margins that that you have to question by the BIG NAME companies. Even the best produce lemons now and again whether it is a car or a mattress. Just something to think about. I would rather keep my hard earned money that give it away. Good luck.

I have never posted a review on LastingImpressionsFoam.com but I have purchased a mattress from them AND recommended them to my friends and family. I will be ordering my second mattress in a year from them later today to replace the mattress in our guest room because we are so happy with our 1st mattress. I knew when I bought it that i was spending 1/10 what a Tempurpedic would cost and if it only lasted a couple years, I'd be fine with that. It's been a year now and it's still as good as it was when we first got it so I'm really not to concerned. If I wanted really security about it, I'd shell out the $$$ for a name brand product. I figure I can't have my cake and eat it too... so that's my take on it. Every company/product has some negative situations, but people - they're not all bad. They're not all good... that's the case for the company where I work so why would I expect anything different here... I don't.

I'm glad you think so. I hope your experience is better then mine. But my mattress has two permanent sunken spots where my wife sleeps and where i sleep with a BIG lump in the middle.

My guess for the reason of such great feedback is people usually leave feedback shortly after they get their item.. Not 4 or 5 months later. My mattress is now 5 months old and it's completely deteriorated.

Good luck with your purchase.

Hi, im also very happy with my 12" matress over 10 years later but i will say that the direction on the matress were to rotate the matress 90° every few weeks or something to that affect until the matress was fully broke in. This was to eliminate the sunken holes in the matress with the lump in the middle. I weigh 350lbs and my wife is also big and we did rotate our matress like they said although not as much and as long as they said. I know when you turn the matress 90° it is a little shorter but this is only to be done until it breaks in. Although we do have really small impressions in each side and a small lump in the middle we did not do it as much as we should have and like i said we are very heavy people. We have also had the matress over 10 years and we still love it. We talked my parents into getting one too and they love theirs as well. Thats just my experience

WANT THE TRUTH? I am also looking for a memory foam mattress and was researching this company. I found this board but I thought it was very fishy that the fist 2 responses were by the person that originally made the complaint and it was on the same day. These kinds of things don't often get many responses especially on the first day. So I went to eBay and found this company's eBay Store (http://myworld.ebay.com/mawandpawsbargains) and they had 99.7% positive feedback from 12600+ sales which sounds pretty good to me. I also went through some of the customer feedback and emailed the customers to find out if they were still pleased with the purchase 1 and 2 years later. I got two responses from people and both were still very happy with their purchase.

I know of a company that has beat up by the BBB even at times when the company is not at fault. They even dropped their accreditation and membership because the BBB issues. The BBB will allow complaints and post information about a company even if they aren't members. Thanks for the information about maw and paw.. I'll be sure to add that info as I see they are the same company it's obvious by looking at their website.

A business has to join and pay a membership fee to the BBB to be listed and have the BBB look over their shoulder and assist in complaints. The BBB actually gives the business advertising support by allowing the business to state they belong to the BBB and use the BBB logo. The BBB doesn't really care about non member businesses and any complaint you file won't get much investigation.
The cheap memory foam mattresses your buying from the websites listed are in fact, cheap memory foam mattresses. If you get one that lasts a while than be happy! It's better to save your money until you can afford a memory foam mattress from a local dealer. At least then you'll have someone to talk to. Even Wal-mart sells their 8" Queen memory foam mattress for $219.00 online with free shipping to the local store. There, at least, you have a good return policy. Lasting impressions foam and maw and paw bargains dot com are the same people out of Sikeston MO area, they protect their sites with Domains by Proxy so you can't look them up. In fact maw and paw bargains dot com are heavy hitters on ebay. They've been getting complaints since 2008 on ebay.

The below is MY experience with www.lastingimpressionsfoam.com This may not be the outcome you have had or you would have if purchasing from them. I think it's important to state up front they have NOT violated their warranty/refund policy however I BELIEVE their warranty and refund policy is laid out in a way that consumers would rather they a loss then pay outrageous shipping costs.

I purchased a 12'' king at the end of June. It was great at first, I thought I was in heaven.

I have multiple sclerosis and one of my major symptoms is that if there is pressure to any part of my body it causes pain, lots of pain. So finding a good mattress has been a expensive and long process. I bought an off brand memory foam mattress for our camper last year off woot.com and except that it's a little too soft it's been nothing but wonderful!

When I ran across the ad for lasting impressions on craigslist I was skeptical at first. But after reading their website, warranty and other sites reviews I was confident in their product or at least their ability to work with you. Yes I found some negative stuff but you'll find negative stuff on any company. What was most impressive is there were no complaints with the MO Attorney General or the BBB.

Well that is no longer the case.

I got my bed at the end of June, at first it was great. By September (after the money back guarantee ran out) it was less then desirable. Now after about 4 months of sleeping on it. It doesn't recover, it's lumpy and therefore its uncomfortable. I emailed them hoping to get a refund or replacement without paying the shipping costs. They replied and told me I was a scam. So now I've filed reports with the BBB and Attorney General and am on a mission to spread the word about MY EXPERIENCE, so that others can make a more informed purchasing decision.

I now believe that this company is a complete fraud. I think they know they are selling a crap product and I also believe they will stand behind their warranty and refund policy. HOWEVER, I think they figure because it's so expensive to send it back most people will just take a loss and figure lesson learned. I've decided, if this is the case then I for one am going to stand up to them. I am going to wait and see what happens with the BBB and AG, but if those results are not what I want I plan to take this further.

What I'm trying to do now is collect information from people who have actually purchased from this company and are unhappy. These need to be legitimate complaints and orders. In order to ensure that these are legitimate I ask a few things. 1st File a complaint with the BBB and MO Attorney General. Next contact me let me know how long ago you purchased, what you've done to try to resolve your issue and what they outcome with them was.

I find it strange that with all these negative reviews there are no ill reports on the better business bureau website. I would not be surprised if these are competing companies just bad mouthing each other on the internet through hired keyboard jockeys. I think if you had legitimate complaints the first place you would go would be the better business bureau rather than an internet complaint board. I have not had any contact with the company, but plan to call in the next month to order a mattress. Depending what their reps sound like will help me decide whether or not to place the order. If I do get it and it sucks I'll probably just order a fancy tempurpedic and use the lasting impressions foam mattress for my English Mastiff's bed...he could use a new mattress anyway. http://www.bbb.org/stlouis/business-reviews/mattresses/lasting-impressions-foam-in-cape-girardeau-mo-310328713/complaints

This company is scam. I bought a king size 12 inches mattress, but they sending me the 10 inches. I talked to a guy name Roger, and he told me to donate the mattress to any donation center, get a receipt, and they will send another mattress to me. I have to pay a guy to bring the mattress to Goodwill in Houston, and they accept the mattress, give the receipt, even thou their policy do not take mattress. This guy name Roger did not send me another mattress based on Goodwill policy. Anyways, they are scam artist. If any of you have similar problem?

Hi. I bought the king size 12" one on last days of June 2011, and I think is ok. I was expecting a terrible odor, but, truly, it was not that bad. I let the mattress air for like 2-3 days before sleeping on it, so it would get its proper shape and odor could go away. I am not going to lie. The mattress was very firm the first couple of nights, then it kind of softens in the place where I usually sleep. It does get back to its form in the morning. I ordered this mattress bc I had bought one for my daughter from a friend who bought it I don't know where. That one is very soft, and I was expecting the same on this one. Well, this is a lot firmer than I like, but I am hoping it will soften with use since I have seen some other mattress (from family members do). Lets hope for the best, and I would like to think I made a good purchase.

I have bought 35 of there mattresses for a hotel I own and the customers love them. It has been over a year and there still just as good as the name brand memory foam mattresses I use at my own home. Just make sure your not a cheap skate and get the 12 inch. If any of you who complain did any research on how memory foam works the thicker the better. That is the reason that the Tempurpedic brand mattresses are about 16 inches thick. I can say that friends of mine have bought cheap china made memory foam and after 6 months they turned into poop. At least they make these in the USA.

Well I was going to buy one because it was so cheap and the bed was for a guest room. A lady answered and did not identify herself or answer as a professional business would. Red FLAG! I started asking questions, density, type of cover, material... she could not answer then handed phone of to a man who seemed to be just woken up...Red FLAG! Needless to say, I have not bought one yet and am still looking.

I haven't bought one and will not because the prices are too good to be true. C'mon people! Everyone has seen knock off products at least once in their lives and surely this is a poor product. Only one thing you can look at that will tell you that this is a poorly run company and that is the BLOG on the the company's website. Poor grammar always means little attention to detail and normally points to poor operations and other areas.

I agree with lmurray...Ive been using Craigslist to buy everything from a car to furniture to anything else i find on there and 99% of companies selling things on Craigslist are scams (not to include car dealers, although the prices are outrageous). Before I even thought of buying from them I Googled them to see how much of a scam they are. Now I cant give you a definite yes or no as to tell you if they are scammers but based on the several websites Ive gone through and experience, I would advise everyone to stay away.

Its amazing what you will find with a little help from Google these days, just dont believe everything you read weather it be good or bad...thats my 2 cents

Yeah i dont believe everything i hear, thank God because i wouldnt have the best matress i ever owned right now! I can say that i did not get ripped off, in fact its the best decision i ever made on a bed matress. On another thought, if most companies that sell on craigslist are scams then why is that the only place you buy from? That in itself is suspicious to me! I can in fact prove that they are legit

lmurray9141, I can assure you lastingimpressionfoam.com is made right here in the USA. And with American made products. I know, I am one of there vendors. If you don't have facts and can't prove things, like every record I have of shipping them and such, why would you comment like that unless you are a competing mattress company. I have been to the plant in MO and know excatly everything in the product. I never get involved with complaint boards considering I know how many mattresses they ship a week and how many complaints they have is nothing compared to what they ship. I learned a long time, that many complaints come from unhappy customers that want revenge on a company. I have sold or been in furniture for many years now and I know when a product is good. I am not saying that their foam is the best but it's better then most. I know this because I deal with all of these mattress companies. Here's an idea for anyone that post negative or positive reviews, why not attach to the post your order number or a tracking number for the shipping company that brought you the mattress? That would prove if you have purchased that you really purchased it. By the way, I know my memory foams and I can assure people out there you can't tell if memory foam is imported or domestic, even if you tried. jessicae I wonder where your creditials are to subject people to an accusation of where the foam is made? Just my thoughts...

Oh and yes I know I only posted once but thats because I am researching this company as I am looking for a comfortable low budget matress. My ex ran off with our 1200 dollar Serta back care and the one I have now is awefull. But amoungst things she took when she split was the money and left the debt. I ran into this company on craigs list and was curious how legit they are. You guys can do what you want... Id stay away.

This may have no bearing in what people are looking for with this company. You probably came here hoping to see some bad reviews compared to the stellar ones from Lasting impression's Website. I would just like to point out that the person who started this post has only ever posted here. As well as almost every post here. 90% of these people have only posted one thing, and it is on this very string. Also "jessicae" seems to be commenting on her own posts she wrote "I'm attempting to get a refund back but just like the last guy said. it's pretty hard dealing with lastingimpressionsfoamscammers.com" there is no "last guy" minus her. She has also never posted anything again. So wading through this is difficult especially for one who is legitimately attempting to research this companies product. But for the record, I have not seen any other complaints, disregarding this site. But I will keep looking.

I purchased the queensize 12 inch Lasting Impressions Foam bed and LOVE it! I have sever scoliosis and couldn't get any sleep on a traditional spring mattresses and certainly couldn't afford a Tempurpedic. I was very skeptical about their prices as well but decided to buy one because I desperately need to be able to sleep and wake up without all the aches and pains as before. I think the quality is great, it's not as firm as Tempurpedic but still 100% better than springs. I ordered online straight from company in May 2010and have no problems with mine as of now. Just my opinion but might consider that maybe the affiliates or outlets are the ones selling knock offs also the smaller 8 & 10 inch mattress may not be as good as the 12. Would be helpful to list your mattress purchased to see if its all or just some sizes.

This isn't all that important in light of the Age of Dumbing Down America, but has anyone noticed the blogger's ('Adrian') use of written English? It's terrible! Poor syntax and an incredible misuse of the article at almost every turn. In fact, it reminds me of many of my European ESL students whose native language doesn't use articles at all, and that makes me wonder if, depite being located in the heartland (Cape Girardeau, MO), this is a U.S. company at all. Caveat emptor, as always.

Hi, I just noticed this board because I was shopping for a Lasting Impressions mattress. I am wondering what the heck happened. I purchased an 8 inch queen about a year and a half ago. I like it so much that I was planning to buy a new one and put my old one in my camper. After reading this, I wonder if they have changed their product or supplier or something. Maybe those of us who are happy with them got them longer ago. Can those of you who purchased recently post when and which mattress you got? I'm a little leery now. I want more info before I buy; don't want to get burned. (Please don't copy and paste from some prepared ad. That's just rude and its not a good way to ENcourage a purchase) Thanks

I got one of their mattresses through mawandpawsbargains on ebay. It came with a large stain, but I didn't want to return it because of that because I had my own cover. (I was also aware of the insane return shipping costs)

Within weeks, however, the mattress softened a lot, memory foam and base foam, in the stained area and where we were sleeping. I contacted them about it because I was getting back pain. Eventually they agreed to take it back for a refund, but I had to pay for shipping. Try to ship something like that! I was luck in that they allowed me to ship it in pieces, bringing shipping down to $65, but I asked them to review the foam because my measurements showed that the memory foam was 2-3/4" instead of 3" thick and weighing only 3.4 instead of 5 lbs per cubic foot. I naively thought mawandpawsbargains got scammed by them.

I just had asked them again whether they looked into that, but they keep insisting that the product matched their advertising and got quite rude. Turns out that my vendor might like the deal they have with lasting impressions a lot or they are just one and the same company altogether. Their way of dealing with my complaint shows me that their false advertising is their system, and the insane shipping costs per mattress are protecting them from the flood of refunds. Unless you live in Missouri (and can return it yourself) don't buy from them! And don't get fooled buy the good feedback on ebay - I left good feedback, too and cannot change it anymore!
