Excellent Math and Science Help
I have used Khan for science courses including biology, chemistry, and anatomy and physiology on the university level and am very satisfied with the layout and length of the videos and problems. My kids use it as their primary source of math education as homeschoolers. Sequential learning experiences for FREE to anyone are provided for learning of many subjects. Khan Academy focuses on understanding requiring few problems, but mastery which I prefer over multiple problems of "busy work." There is also an option to "test out" of material already mastered. We find the site exceedingly helpful.

This website is horrible
Maybe it works for people who are trying to learn PART of a topic, but for people who are working seriously, this website SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
I missed a unit of trigonometry and my teacher told me Khan academy should help me get caught up. He was planning to help with me with parts of it, but expects me to learn the majority of it on Khan.
I got on. Looked through the trigonometry lessons. Looked through the precalc lessons. Searched the videos. Scrolled through dozens of options.
THERE WAS NOTHING.
According to my textbook AND teacher, this was the most important unit in trigonometry, and Khan had NOTHING on it.
The website is awful. Stay away.
Mixed Feelings About Khan Academy: A Student's Review
I gotta say, I got mixed feelings about Khan Academy. I mean, I get why some people like it, but personally, I don't think it's all that great. I had to use it for school, and let me tell you, it was a real drag. I mean, I get that it's supposed to be this big, fancy math tool, but honestly, I didn't learn a thing from it. And I'm not the only one, either - I've talked to a bunch of my friends, and they all feel the same way.
Now, don't get me wrong - I'm not saying that Khan Academy is completely useless. I mean, I guess if you're really into math, it might be helpful. But for me, it just didn't work. I found the lessons really confusing, and the exercises were just way too hard. And don't even get me started on the videos - they were so boring, I could barely stay awake.
So yeah, I guess if you're really desperate for some math help, you could give Khan Academy a try. But honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. There are way better resources out there that are way more helpful. So save yourself the trouble and skip Khan Academy. Trust me, you won't regret it.
Review: Khan Academy - A Free and Easy Way to Learn
Khan Academy is a website that I used to really enjoy. It was a great way to learn math and made it seem like a fun activity. However, after using it for a while, I started to lose interest. The website has great graphics and the quality of the site is really good. However, there are some problems with the wording of some of the questions that can be really confusing. Additionally, some of the content just isn't that engaging. I'm sure that most people would disagree with me, but I just didn't find it as interesting after using it for a while.
Despite these issues, Khan Academy is still a great resource for learning. The website is easy to navigate and the lessons are well-organized. The videos are also really helpful and make it easy to understand the concepts being taught. The website also offers a variety of subjects to learn about, not just math.
One thing that I really appreciate about Khan Academy is that it's free. It's a great resource for people who can't afford to pay for expensive tutoring or classes. The website also offers a lot of practice problems and quizzes, which is really helpful for reinforcing what you've learned.
Overall, I would recommend Khan Academy to anyone who is looking for a free and easy way to learn. While there are some issues with the website, it's still a great resource for anyone who wants to improve their knowledge in a variety of subjects.

Khan Academy Review: A Rollercoaster Ride of Learning Opportunities
I have been using Khan Academy for a while now and I must say, it has been a rollercoaster ride. At times, I feel like I am on top of the world, but at other times, I feel like giving up. There are some issues with the website that make it difficult to learn, but I wouldn't go as far as saying that it should be shut down or sued.
One of the problems I have encountered is the videos. Sometimes, they are too fast-paced and I find it hard to keep up. Other times, they are too slow and I get bored. Additionally, the hints provided are not always helpful. They can be confusing and make me lose points.
Despite these issues, I have found Khan Academy to be a useful resource. The website covers a wide range of topics and the exercises are challenging. I have learned a lot from using it and I feel more confident in my abilities.
Overall, I think Khan Academy has its flaws, but it is still a valuable tool for learning. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a free and accessible way to improve their knowledge and skills.
Improvements Needed for Khan Academy: A Review
Khan Academy is a website that can be very helpful for learning new things. However, there are a few things that could be improved. For example, once you have learned a skill, it should stay learned. It can be frustrating to have to go back and relearn something that you already know.
Another suggestion would be to teach the subject before trying to do it. This can help to avoid bringing kids' averages down. It can be difficult to learn something new if you don't have a good understanding of the basics.
One thing that could be improved is the instructor Sal. Some people find his way of talking to be lazy and hard to pay attention to. Additionally, his handwriting could use some improvement. It's important to have clear and easy-to-read handwriting when teaching others.
Overall, Khan Academy is a great resource for learning new things. However, there are some areas that could be improved to make it even better.
Khan Academy Review: A Serious Resource for Math Mastery
Khan Academy is a website that is known for teaching math. They provide math problems and videos, but some people say that they don't explain the concepts very well. It's not exactly "fun" either, which means that kids might not be interested in using it because it's just math and nothing else. However, if you're someone who wants to focus on studying and mastering a skill, then Khan Academy might be a good choice for you.
In my opinion, I wouldn't recommend Khan Academy for people who want to have fun while learning. But if you're someone who is serious about studying and improving your skills, then it might be worth checking out. I give it a rating of 3 out of 5 stars. One point is for the encouragement that they provide, and the other point is for the explanations that they do give.
One thing that I think could be improved about Khan Academy is the way that they explain things. Sometimes it can be hard to understand what they're trying to say, and that can be frustrating. But overall, I think that Khan Academy is a good resource for people who want to learn math. It might not be the most exciting thing in the world, but it can definitely help you improve your skills if you're willing to put in the time and effort.
So, if you're someone who is looking for a fun way to learn math, then Khan Academy might not be the best choice for you. But if you're someone who is serious about improving your skills and mastering math concepts, then it's definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared to put in some hard work and dedication!
Warning: Khan Academy Ruined My Grades - A Cautionary Tale
Khan Academy ain't no good, folks. I'm telling you, it's a real doozy. It'll mess up your life and your grades. Don't even think about using it, and don't go telling your friends about it either. It's a real academic disaster. I used to be a straight-A student with just a couple of B's here and there. But then, someone told me about Khan Academy and I thought, "Hey, why not give it a try?" Well, let me tell you, it was a big mistake. My grades plummeted to F's and D's in no time flat. I knew I had to stop using it, and fast. I tried other programs and eventually got back to all A's again. So, take my advice and steer clear of Khan Academy. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Khan Academy Review: A Great Learning Resource with a Few Flaws
So, my dad made me do Khan Academy because I was way ahead of everyone else in my class and wasn't doing enough work for online school. I signed up for grade six math, and the first question they asked me was, "What's 5+3?" I mean, come on, that's too easy for me. But I guess it's good for people who are just starting out.
One thing I didn't like about Khan Academy is that you can't restart quizzes. I accidentally pressed the wrong button and checked, and I had to do the rest of the quiz without being able to fix my mistake. That was frustrating.
But overall, I have to say that Khan Academy is a pretty good learning website. They have a lot of different subjects to choose from, and the videos are really helpful. I especially like the math videos because they explain things in a way that's easy to understand.
I also like that you can earn badges and points for completing different activities. It makes learning more fun and gives you a sense of accomplishment.
So, even though there are a few things I don't like about Khan Academy, I would still recommend it to anyone who wants to learn something new. It's a great resource, and it's free!
Khan Academy Review: Frustrating and Unhelpful - Not Worth Your Time
I gotta be honest, my experience with Khan Academy wasn't great. It's frustrating when you get one question wrong and have to redo the whole practice or test. It's like, come on man, cut me some slack! And the videos, while they do explain things, I didn't feel like I was actually learning anything. It was more like I was just watching someone else do math problems or explain concepts to me.
The practices were the worst part for me. They gave me a headache and I felt like I was just banging my head against a wall. I mean, I get that practice makes perfect, but this was just ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend using this website if you're looking to actually learn something. It'll just frustrate you and make you want to pull your hair out.
I gave it a one-star rating, but honestly, it deserves even less than that. It's just not a good resource for learning. I mean, I'm all for free education and all that, but this is just not the way to go. Save yourself the headache and find a different website to use.
Overall, I would say that Khan Academy is not worth your time. It's frustrating, confusing, and just not helpful. Spread the word, people! Don't waste your time with this [censored] website.
Review: Khan Academy - Helpful or Not for All?
Khan Academy is a website that offers educational resources for students of all ages. While some may find it helpful, others may not. One issue that some users have with Khan Academy is that it can be difficult to understand the complicated formulas that are presented. While it is important to have these formulas available, it is equally important to define what each variable means. Unfortunately, Khan Academy does not always do this, leaving users confused and frustrated.
Another issue with Khan Academy is that it can be too minimalistic. For example, when trying to understand how to derive F01, users may be left scratching their heads. Instead of providing clear instructions, Khan Academy may simply say "add all the scores," "input the greatest score," or "average the scores." This lack of detail can make it difficult for users to fully understand the material.
Despite these issues, some users may still find Khan Academy helpful. However, it may not be the best resource for those preparing for the SAT. This is because Khan Academy often tries to condense complex concepts into a single sentence, when it really requires a more detailed explanation.
Overall, while Khan Academy may be a useful resource for some, it may not be the best fit for everyone. It is important to keep in mind that different people learn in different ways, and what works for one person may not work for another.
Khan Academy: A Great Learning Resource with One Major Flaw
Khan Academy is a super cool website for learning all sorts of things. You can even learn how to code and make your own games to play when you're supposed to be doing school work. It's like a secret hideout for learning and having fun at the same time. But, let me tell you, there's one thing that really grinds my gears about this place. The math grading system is just plain awful. I mean, seriously, if you get one question wrong on the unit test, you have to do the whole thing over again. And let me tell you, those unit tests are no joke. They're like 17-20 questions long, and if you mess up just one, you're back to square one. It's enough to make me want to throw my keyboard and PC out the window. But, despite this one little hiccup, I really do love using Khan Academy to learn new things. It's just so easy to use and the lessons are really well explained. I just wish they could fix that darn grading system.
Answers are too specific
I have experienced many occasions where my students' answers are not accepted because the answer is written in a form that is accepted in class, but not by Khan Academy standards. I work with many kids in our town's special education population, and Algebra 2 can be hard enough for them to grasp without the extra stress of making sure we know which form you expect.
For example, when factoring 4x-12, one would take out a 4 as the GCF. The answer would be 4(x-3). On a recent practice quiz, it was expected that the student factor that 4 back into the answer, so her answer was incorrect.
I understand you are all doctors and professors of math, but I would encourage you to try to relate to those of us who are not. I would suggest having all acceptable answers put in to the computer, so the kids have a chance of passing these quizzes.
I would also suggest making the lingo a little more understandable for those of us who did not major in math. My job is to support my students, and I have four years of experience in Algebra 2 classes (with three different teachers) and I work for a good school system. Please, please make your program more down to earth and inclusive. I would not use your program at all if it were up to me. I hope you take this feedback seriously.

Website math problem answer buttons not working
I just registered on Khan Academy a couple days ago. I am in my 50's and want to learn math and science. When I was in public elementary, middle, and high school, the requirements were different. We were not required to learn science and math beyond the very, very, very basics. What is now required of children to learn was considered college, masters, and PhD level back in my childhood.
I want to learn math and science, BUT, I cannot learn them if Khan Academy's answer buttons do not work. I already reported the "technical issue" to Khan Academy. I am still waiting for them to acknowledge they received my notice, and I am still waiting for them to fix the problem.
They do not have any problem emailing me excessively about having my child on their site more due to coronavirus. First of all, it is me and not a child that is registered on your site. Second, what is the purpose of me wasting my time if your answer buttons are not working? Third, you splatter on the main page about donations... FOR WHAT?!?! If you are going to have a website with defective buttons, you are serving NO benefit and therefore don't deserve any donations from me nor from anyone else!
FIX YOUR BUTTONS!
data distributions
On the practice program for comparing data distributions, on the Olympics backstroke question. I was comparing two sets of data for the semifinals and the finals times for Olympic backstroke. It asked if the semifinals were greater on average than the finals and I said yes, which I know is correct because I calculated it on my calculator. But, Khan said the finals were greater on average than the semifinals. I might be wrong, but I am pretty positive I am right. It was a very slight difference, but still a difference. Thank you for your time, I hope you can prove my point wrong or update your question.
website
Hello sal,
I am a student and I contacting you on the behalf of my finance class. We are currently in class and are all on the verge of tears due to the frustration that your website brings. We understand that you are a very smart man and work with very smart people. So, you could certainly fix it. The problem is how your videos don't play when you click on it. Try taking away auto play. It misses everything up.
I understand your frustration. I am in my 50's and want to learn math and science which was not a requirement when I went to school. I feel extremely illiterate because first graders are now being taught Algebra, and I have no clue what the kids of today are talking about. Khan Academy's answer buttons do not work and I cannot get them to fix them nor even get them to show me the courtesy of emailing me with this simple professionalism:
" I am so sorry for the technical issue you experienced on our site. We pride ourselves on providing a high quality problem free product, but unfortunately, problems do occur. Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention. We are now trying to resolve this issue and request your patience with us."
I understand your frustration. It is understandable. I also have to acknowledge that the frustration is going to be harder on the young like you than for an "old dog" like me. Over 50 years of my life I have seen people and businesses that have no work ethic. Who just do not care about "an honest days work for an honest days pay". Who provide as little effort as they can but expect you and I to provide them with much profit. These people and businesses have no desire to change. The only thing we can do is look elsewhere for a reputable source and pray for them.
As you get older and are out in the world, you will find a large portion of people and businesses are crooks. Yes, I agree. It should not be this way, but it is.
From an "old dog to a young pup": be different. Considering this world is filled with "crooks", the world doesn't need any more "crooks".
Or if you want to look at it a different way:
You have to choose a major. What you want to do the rest of your life. Don't choose to be a crook because the position is already taken and overpopulated. Choose a career that has a shortage of workers and therefore you will be in demand. Which careers?
Honesty, Integrity, and Scruples.
account creation
I don't like how if a student already has an account, they cannot create their own "Non-Child account". because I want to submit programs to browse projects, but I can't upload programs. when I try to create a new one, I just get taken to my dashboard. If it is possible to fix that, please do. If there is a way to create an account, please tell me.
video problem
I am using khan academy for the last 5 months. It was all right when the videos were played directly from youtube. But from the last one week, the videos are not played on youtube. The videos are of HD quality. So I cannot change the quality of a video. Also, the pink play button remains even after the video is playing and the screen cannot be played in expanded view. Therefore it is a request for you to fix the problem since the videos are extremely useful for me.
Thanking you.
Hoping for a quick service

ps-I have attested a screenshot of the problem below.
stay away.
They don't provide lessons they require you to learn. So if you have to learn something serious for exams or that kind of stuff, you better choose another website or hire a tutor.
I'm 35 and it's hard to say I'm a student, but I need some knowledge for my job, so that's why I needed those lessons to learn Electrical engineering. And once I missed several lessons because of my job.I contacted the Khan tutor and was advised to find needed lessons to run my course down. I tried to find them, but I didn't. Nothing has helped me to find them.
I'm disappointed.
don't trust tutors from this website
I have problems with the Math, but I need to pas exam soon. I contacted the company www.khanacademy.org. I explained my situation and the rep offered me to ask with the tutor. He gave me his contact details. Unfortunately, the tutor was really dishonest and he earned money deceiving people. I swallowed his bait and lost a lot of money. Now I need to get this sum back and be ready for the exam.
fake charges and impossible to reach them
I was interested in the website www.khanacademy.org. I signed up for them and subscribed for news letter, but they provided me some rubbish. After 4 weeks I noticed that they charged me for something and it was made without my notice. I tried to reach someone from this website, but they ignored my emails. Maybe someone has any idea how to track this company...
