This was supposed to be delivered today, prior to christmas so I can cook christmas dinner for my family. Delivery company arrives. It is pretty obvious that the unit has been dumped off a fork lift. Top is completely misaligned, back is completely dented, top is scratched, parts are following out the back of the oven it is so badly damaged. I spend one hour on the phone with ge crappy service and am informed, "sorry but we can't do anything until 12/26. We can compensate you but can't tell you what that might be until after it is delivered because it is our policy. Otherwise we can deliver it to you next saturday." what the hell? Not only is ge's incompetence ruining christmas but you can't even tell me what the compensation for ruining christmas is so I can't make an informed decision as to whether or not to cancel the order and go with a competent company?! Really?! No wonder ge has a one star rating! Add to that that my mother is in town and visits only once per year. I spent four hours waiting for the delivery of the defective product, one hour on the phone with ge (which incidentally they refused to provide me with written confirmation of the second delivery 12/26 and my onine delivery still shows today so I have no idea if you all are delivering or not), and now have to spend another four hours on 12/26 waiting for delivery of another possibly defective product meaning that I will have wasted nine hours of my time with my mother who I see only twice a year and ge will have ruined christmas since I can't cook christmas dinner without an oven. Do you think anyone is taking dinner reservations on christmas this late in the game?!
