Fitness Evolution / Horrible customer service
Concerning Fitness Evolution in Uptown. I cancelled my membership in
January for reasons other than customer service. After cancelling, I
received a bill in Feb. and March. Again, I called to ask why I was still
receiving bills after I cancelled. I was informed that I had signed a year
contract (I was not aware of that or else I would not have signed an
agreement) and that I would have to get billed until my contract was up.
In the meantime, I never attended the gym b-c I thought my membership had
been cancelled. I was informed that after the year the contract ended, in
March, that I would not be billed again. To be sure, I stated in my phone
converstation that I would not get billed in April. This was confirmed.
Lo and behold, in April I get billed AGAIN! I called the gym to find out
what was going on-my job is not to hound down a gym whose membership I
cancelled three months prior- and the owner said that I was handling the
situation wrong and basically not being very nice. Boo hoo. Deal with it,
especially if you're the owner. On a seperate note, while still an
'eternal member', I called to use my supposed 'free' personal training
session. I called twice to set up an appt. and no one ever responded back
to me. Horrible customer service, not worth it!
