Participated for the first time in 2017 and there was a change in administration from 2016 to 1017. The administration this year was wonderful and I really enjoyed the professionalism and response time for any questions I had with this but I also heard that there was past friction between administration and faculty from 2016. Does anyone have any information to help me decide if I should continue my association with this organization going forward?

The Epsilon Camp Board of Directors experienced firsthand the difficult situation of disagreements with faculty who chose to resign at the end of Epsilon Camp 2016. Despite a challenging behind-the-scenes environment, Deborah worked tirelessly to ensure successful completion of Epsilon Camp 2016 and to develop and implement a succession plan for 2017.
We thank Deborah for her hard work and dedication to Epsilon Camp.

None of the claims are true and Deborah Elizabeth Stone Saret is not to be trusted. Deborah Debbie Stone Saret is unable to work with others, not a team player. Insubordinate and defiant to authority. Deborah Debbie Stone Saret is only interested in self promotion at the expense of the organization and the team.
Plausible deniability is Deborah Elizabeth Stone Saret's game and Deborah Elizabeth Stone Saret is only willing to use others. Once Deborah Elizabeth Stone Saret finds a resource to be of no use to her she will toss them aside and move onto another source.
Deborah Elizabeth Stone Saret is best to be described as a parasite. Beware. This individual is cancer. She is a person who has only one agenda and that is to promote herself. She presents herself as a person of high integrity and honor but if you speak to her former employers you will find that she has conducted herself in the most inappropriate manner. She lies, she purposefully hides information and data, she deliberately avoids situations which she was personally responsible for makin toxic. On more than one occasion she has been seen yelling at camp administration and her superiors. She is verbally abusive in order to get her way. Deborah Elizabeth Stone Saret is insubordinate and deceptive. She will alter her resume to avoid any former employers giving negative reviews and will most likely not mention her involvement with this organization to keep future employers from finding out about her treachery.
Was there in the 2016 and have heard that 2017 was a dramatic improvement in the application communication process. Maria Samuelson is wonderful and was very friendly. A breath of fresh air. The previous director Deborah Saret was pretty cold and not very approachable both on the phone and at the time of the camp. On several occasions we could hear her having a meltdown and yelling at different members of the organization in a very disrespectful and demeaning manner. Definitely not the well polished individual she portrayed to the public. We stayed in same residence hall as her. I am surprised she was the face of the organization. She clearly didn't have the skillset to be a leader. Many people speculated that she was the cause of the mass exodus of faculty in 2016 and it was a topic of discussion when many of us attended the new camp which formed from that exodus. Regardless, the organization is in much better shape now that all the old administration is gone. Dr. K supposedly has retired, which is a shame. He was amazing. Dr. T and Maria are a valuable asset and we I hope to return for many more years.
