Eden Cosmetics is a rip-off company. They use the ploy of sending you a "free trial" of their cosmetics for $1.00 and then in 10 days they will bill you for $130.41 for the "free" trial if you don't call and cancel. You don't even get ten days to cance because the shipping time is usually more than half of that time if you live in another state from PA. My wife fell for this scam in November, 2009, but thought better of the idea before she finished filling out the info on the web site and hit the cancel key. They, of course, did not cancel the order but sent it anyway. We had a death in the family days later and were in no position to deal with this rip-off when a man called my wife about her order. She told him to cancel the order and hung up. We were out of town for a few days and when I checked my debit card on my on line banking account, there was the $130.41 charge in ten days like they said would happen--- even though my wife cancelled the order twice!
When I called Enen Cosmetics and tried to get an RMA number to return their product, they refused of course! So, I contacted the PA Attorney General's Office and filed a formal complaint against Eden Cosmetics. The PA Div. of Consumer Protection sent me a copy of a letter from Eden Cosmetics saying they had issued me a credit of $131.41 on Jan. 6, 2010. But, my OLB Debit account has not been credited with the $130.41 only for $1.00. I have been calling Eden and have sent two more letters to the PA Attourney General to try to get this fixed. I have called Eden and they say to give them a few more days. Maybe they are in the processing of skipping town.
