Am a 24 year guy who was facing hair loss since last two years i visited DHI as per their advertisement to regain hairline and hair density as it was before . The sales lady at DHI jaipur, told me to go for hair transplant along with 4 seasions of PRP to gain hair density, she as well as the doctor there claimed that after having PRP and hair transplant i do not needed to apply minoxodile or other medication and can live happily till next 5 years . How silly i am, instead getting some research I BELIEVED as per the name of DHI, but now after having hair transplant and all PRP"s am loosing hairs at rapid speed as compared to before . Now am feeling totally looted and hopeless just because of false promises and advertisement made by DHI .
Just because of this guys now am not having my most precious hairs . I hope DHI being an global brand can help me with this issue .

Writing genuinely to make you aware of the fraud. They said hair after 6 months I am still bald. Lost money.

theynare not helpful in answering when the money is returned they are fraud people many Sweet ladies calling for compromise they are ready to flirt also as I threteaned legal action

Non ethical company don't fall to their trap

I had a transplant here in Havelock town. cost Rs 250, 000. They only did 1 inch of hair. and results not good. So I went back for money back guarantee. When I go Roshan Bandara the owner will not see me. Reception lady took photo and say will call back later. No call. When going always they say he not there. Later I find that Roshan Bandara is a well known fraudster. So be careful of DHi Sri Lanka and Roshan Bandara. No hair grows. No money back also.

DHI Sri Lanka trick me. Some thug called Roshan Bandara and some Indians run this place. The Indians are involved in big times money laundering and they use DHI to clean money from various scams. They charge big money for hair also but only few can afford so many avoid from this DHI trick. I too could not get hair as money cost too high but went for less costPRP inject which is rubbish and waste of time. They are crooks be carefuland stay far away.

This is to warn you about DHI Sri Lanka. They charge high fees to identify high net worth individuals. They then get your id details bank account details and address. Bandara is well connected to the local underworld. They then send someone to collect money with threats or gradually empty your bank account. So be careful dealing with this company. It gas now happened to me and 2 others I know of. We complained to the police but as usual nothing will happen to underworld criminals. Roshan Bandara is a well known under world figure so be very careful and avoid trading with this business.

I got this PRP blood injections and laser from this jokkers DHI sri lanka. A man pretending to be a docotr called Roshan Bandara told me my hair will grow excellent just pay Rs 150, 000. He say PRP is latest method to grow hair. All movie stars get it. Well now many months no hair grows. But all hair falls. I more bald than before. That is what PRP does. Waste of money plus injections have to be taken many times. Much pain. This DHI are jokkers and shame on you for tricking people with this nonsense. Our hard moneys wasted. Please compalain to ministry of health Sri Lanka if you have got this PRP and hair not grown or more hair fall. This company must be stop from thieveing money.

The owner of this business is a well known crook in Sri Lanka with Mafia connections. He is now running this DHI business to money launder drug money. They charge many laks of rupees for simply planting hair on baldy people and use that money for drug trafficking. The hair they plant doesnt grow and anyone complaining is assaulted. so be ware of this crook. When you go DHI he pretend to be a doctor. He has never even been to school forget medical school.

I had PRP treatment for Rs 80, 000 at DHI Sri Lanka to treat my baldness/hair loss. 1 year now and no results. I am balder than before. Hair is falling faster after the injections. They now refuse to answer my calls. The procedure was very painful. PRP does not work. Don't waste your money. I have met many people fooled into getting PRP at DHI.

I write this as a warning. Im a victim of DHI Sri Lanka. Sad to say i had this DHI procedure done at Amarasekera mawatha. It was expensive and very painful. No results to show after now nearly 11 months. In fact baldness is much worse. Extraction area is covered in scars. DHI Sri Lanka refuse to answer my calls to discuss this hair growth failure . Be aware that this DHI method does not work. Don't waste your time or money here. Better to be bald and healthy. Best wishes.

I read about this DHI treatment for hair loss now available in Sri Lanka. The company is called DHI Sri Lanka. The doctor there is Dr Bimantha Gunasekera. He introduced himself as a plastic surgeon but I later discovered he was not a specialist and certainly not a qualified surgeon. He is actually an administrator at a maternity hospital and works part time at DHI Sri Lanka. He is not a very good doctor. Also why he is now passing himself off as a surgeon seems very odd and very unscrupulous. I have visited DHI in Mumbai and they have an excellent facility there. But as the prices were very high I could not afford it at that time in addition to travel costs and accommodation. So I was very happy when a DHI office opened in Sri Lanka. However the staff here lack experience. None of the technicians are qualified or trained it seems. The doctor Bimantha is an office administrator and not a clinical doctor. That is very dangerous in emergencies. I had PRP/laser and DHI. This was one year ago now. It cost me a lot of money but they assured me that I would see results in 3 months. But now nearly one year on very few hairs have grown. Some point the wrong direction. It is really ugly. I think due to the PRP I have constant headaches. Im also worried about infection as my skin is still slightly swollen. My hair is really thin and bald and for a woman it is very embarrassing. They are refusing a refund. But i will take the matter to court. I would strongly recommend you travel to India for DHI. It is worth the travel costs. Do not do DHI in Sri Lanka or you will just waste you money for endless suffering and no results as promised.

DHI hair restoration is available in Chennai India. So I was excited when DHI opened an office in Sri Lanka. When I visited they scanned my head and said I could choose to have DHI hair for 300, 000 or go for PRP and lazer at Rs 150, 000 to grow my hair. So I took the cheapest option first. PRP involves takin my blood and injecting into my bald areas. So I was confused how this would help but the doctor at DHI Sri Lanka Bimantha assured me it would work. However 6 months after treatment my hair loss was worse then ever. The injected areas had turned a strange color and it was still very painful. When I complained they told me that some people dont react well to the PRP and that I should go for the DHI now. So I spent another Rs 300, 000 and got this done. But I made sure I got a guarantee in writing. Total now Rs 450, 000. The surgery was the worst pain ever and i got massive swelling of my face. They promised results in 3 months. But 12 months later not a single hair visible. This time I was angry so I called and complained and threatened them with legal action if they fail to refund my money. They now avoid my calls. When I visit there they say the doctor is out of the office. But I got a lawyer friend to write a strong letter threatening leagal action. We shall see what happens now or i have waste my hard earned money for nothing. So ignore the advertisning. DHI Sri Lanka is very bad for hair growth and for customer service. Better to go to DHI Chennai or Mumbai.

I under went a DHI procedure at DHI Sri Lanka with 5 sessions of PRP and Laser for Rs 400, 000 12 months ago. That was such a waste of money and effort. I was promised great results in 3 months with no swelling and pain after the procedure. Not only was the procedure painful it caused massive amounts of swelling which took days to improve. I looked like an alien for a good few days. The area transplanted now looks hideous and my hair loss is worse than ever after the PRP/laser. The extraction are has huge scars. This is now 12 months later. The DHI planted area is very unnatural in appearance with only a small amount of hair re growing. I think the main problem is that while DHI clinics overseas are usually run by plastic surgeons, the clinic in Sri Lanka is run by a non surgeon called Bimantha Gunasekara. He is not experienced and his work is very poor as you can see from my results. The staff are also very inexperienced and amateurish. I would not recommend them at all. If you wish to have DHI visit DHI Chennai instead. It is only a short flight away. Avoid DHI Sri Lanka if you wish to get good results and not waste your money.

I attended at this DHI clinic on Amarasekara Mawatha 10 months ago. They advised me to get a hair transplant to treat my hair loss. I had some hair loss in the two side of my head and in front about 1 inch. They asked for Rs 300, 000 for this. They are advertising in magazines promising amazing hair growth results in 3 months showing with photos of famous tele actors who got treated there, They said there treatment is the best and promised no scars a natural result and no swelling of the face, I was so foolish to believe them and waste my money. I don't know about the team of DHI overseas but these people in DHI Sri Lanka are not experienced or professional. I had so much pain when they injected to numb the skin. I was crying. It was so bad. The staff were so rude too and laughing at my pain. After the procedure my face swelled like a balloon and I was in pain for 9 days. 10 months now the results are very poor. Growth is so little and very far apart, doesn't look natural at all. Also after the PRP injections within a few months all the rest of my hair fell out and I am now more bald. Also I have big scars where they took the hair out. Many hairs grow in the wrong direction. I would have been better going to DHI overseas for treatment than DHI Sri Lanka. Please be warned these rogues at DHI Sri Lanka will tell you lies and take your hard earned money. Please go to DHI in India instead, there is one in Chennai. They are very professional and much experienced. DHI Sri Lanka tells lies, promises a lot and gives nothing but suffering. A reall fraud!

I had an hair transplant surgery at DHI Global who are at New Cavendish Street London W1. They promised me the hair would grow fine. After 18 months of evaluation and every 3 months check ups, only minimal hair has grown, and where the hair was thinning, it has worsened and they tell me the hair is falling out therefore I need to have the surgery again to fix hair loss problem? Is this a scam company? Scammers making money out of us FOOLS?
DHI Global not recommended at all, so you wiseguys beware! Complete waste of hard earned money! I am certainly a very unhappy customer!

Hi my name is Aman Katiyar, I would also like to share my experience about DHI clinic DIRECT HAIR IMPLANTATION. I was losing hair since 2002, when I got typhoid. I consulted homeopathy doctors and they told me to take medicines and the hair fall would stop, I kept on taking those medicines and relied on the fact that I am taking medicines and I will be able to save my hair fall, but after 6 years or by 2008 I lost hair almost half of my scalp on top. Then I got really tensed since it was my 2nd year of job and I had started looking old, I tried changing few hair styles also to cover as much scalp as possible but nothing actually worked. Toppik and other fibre use to give only some coverage or volume only, and I use to apply when I used to go to some function or gathering, but then even that wasn’t a permanent solution to have head full of hair. Finally happened the disaster, I got my strip surgery done with Dr khanna, when he convinced me saying strip is the best technique of hair transplant in Kolkata and in country and the remaining hair can be saved by minoxidil application. Due to my limited knowledge I believed the doctor and went ahead for the surgery of 3000 hair. I went through excruciating pain and never ending process and healing process of that surgery and even after months I had swollen scalp. My results were also not natural. It seemed that I used to look better before hair transplant surgery only. He also told me that this hair transplant technique is the best and beware of other techniques like FUE. I tell you beware of this doctor. Guess what after noticing swollen skin continuously and non healing of my strip after 2 months, I went to DHI best hair transplant clinic – or I would say masters of hair transplant. They told me that there is something wrong with my transplant and finally they found that Dr khanna has left a stich inside, while closing the extracted unit behind my scalp. And I was shocked. Then DHI assured me of giving me good results that too with their most advanced technique. It was wonderful to be there under the expert hands of MD doctors. They told me clearly how much coverage they can give me without any confusion and showed proper calculation of extracting hair and there has been no concern of DHI cost, since they are very reasonable, atleast after having such bad experience of local doctors like khanna, who claims to be master’s. I was happy with the kind of processes they have. They assured me of European standards which are same at all of their clinics. I was so relieved after getting rid of that continuous pain. Now after 8 months I have pretty good coverage, though I wont say that my head is full with hair, but it looks definitely better than before and i am happy to restore my looks at this cost at DHI. Now they have told me to come back after a year, for more hair. Seeing the results I think I should get another transplant done. Anyways there is still 4 months left, will see it then. I would like to say all of you people who are worried about their looks and hair fall, do visit DHI clinic and have clear understanding and knowledge first, don’t just believe any doctor, like I did. Its one time thing and I think should be done with the best ones. Last but not the least, BEWARE of Dr. Khanna.

I had a DHI session 9 months ago. I am more than satisfied with my result and the professionalism of the company. I had my session in Glasgow Clinic and i must admit that nobody believes that i had a procedure. The result is so natural. Before choosing the company i saw some live results.Now i am 30 and i look 25. I think some people are just jealous..!

DHI is claiming to have a patented procedure (unique method) of hair replacement (hair transplant) in India.
The truth is that it is nothing but FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method which is performed by several other doctors and companies in India and across the world. FUE method on its own have some serious limitations and once must learn them loud and clear!

DHI is claiming this procedure to be a Non-Surgical (Cosmetic) procedure.
It is a complete lie. The truth is that, it’s a Surgery performed by plastic surgeons after giving anaesthesia. It is a matter of common sense that without performing surgery how can a surgeon remove and plant follicles from and into human scalp! Yes the surgeries in last 5 years have gone to a different level and its much more harmless and simpler but to call it Non-Surgical is a big huge fat lie!

DHI is claiming this procedure to be a NO TOUCH procedure.
A big marketing gimmick and a blatant lie. How can anyone remove and plant follicles without a surgical equipment touching your scalp? Are they trying to say that they don’t touch your scalp with their hands? If yes, then wherever in the world FUE or FUT methods are performed all the doctors and companies plant follicles without touching your scalp with hands and only using surgical equipments anyways!

DHI is claiming that there will be no scars.
All the doctors in India and abroad when they perform FUE method it create small dots and FUT method a fine line, there are no scars anyways. And the fine line or dots are only slightly visible if you shave your head so Its not something new or different what DHI is claiming or doing.

For anyone undergoing Hair Replacement (Hair Transplant) procedure the ultimate role is played by a Doctor more then a method or a company. Bottom line is how skilful, artistic and experienced the doctor is and how many surgeries the doctor has performed and what kind of final results he has achieved. That matters the most and not the method! DHI has recruited 3-5 newly passed outs doctors in India to perform FUE method, who are only trained for 6 months and these doctors have no or very limited experience and track record! Do you want to risk a surgery with new kid on the block which will determine how will you eventually look for the rest of your life?! Think twice!

Giving more importance to the Method then a Doctor!
DHI (Direct Hair Implant) is a company and the procedure they perform is FUE method. By calling their procedure DHI procedure they are trying to misguide people of India. As they have Non-experience doctors, they are trying to promote FUE method as DHI method but they don’t tell any patients know as to which doctor would be performing the procedure! Yet again, question of common sense that the maximum importance should be given to the Doctor, his experience, his track record, his own end results and many more areas related to his background and not to FUE method performed by DHI.

The biggest limitation of DHI and in what they perform which is FUE method is that in 1 session they are not able to plant more then 3, 000 hair! More then 90% doctors across the world disapprove FUE method and the reason is every human is born with approximately 100, 000 hair. The area which is prone to hair loss (Top of the head) has 50, 000 to 60, 000 hair. If a person has lost even 20% to 100% hair on top of his scalp that means (minimum of 15, 000 to 50, 000 hair), DHI can only give you 2500 to 3000 hair back! Million dollar question is that what about the remaining 12, 000 to 47, 000 hair?! How will you get that back?! Can 3, 000 hair compensate the actual requirement of 15, 000 or 50, 000 hair?! How would you style your hair with 2500 to 3000 hair when the requirement is of 40, 000 to 50, 000 hair?

The other big limitation of DHI is they are only able to plant new hair through FUE (DHI method) where the follicles are dead in bald areas. They are not able to save your existing hair which you’re born with!. So tomorrow if you get 3, 000 new hair, what about the areas where you still have your own natural hair? How will you save it? Tomorrow if you start losing your own hair, it will start developing very ugly looking patches on your scalp. The last thing you want is to have ugly looking patches on your scalp! Imagine your appearance with patchy scalp?!

DHI is hiding a very important point from all the clients and doing something which is highly unethical. In FUE method (So called DHI method), the wastage of follicles is minimum 20% to 25%. That means if they remove 100 hair follicles, they are planting only 75 to 80 hair on your scalp but they are hiding this from client. A minimum of 20% or more is wasted in the process and are not replanted! When a client is under anaesthesia, he does not realise what is removed and planted and what is wasted! But when it comes to charging people they charge people on the basis of what they have removed, and not on the basis of what they have planted! That means if 3, 000 follicles are removed, less then 2400 are planted and 600 or more are wasted but you’re asked to pay for 3, 000 which is highly unethical.

From a client’s point of view every human has a limited amount of hair at the back of their head (donor area), which can be planted on the top of their scalp. So why would you want to waste 25% of your own follicles after they are removed which are priceless. At the same time why would you want to pay for something which is not even planted? Rather what is wasted?!

Budget wise DHI is charging Rs.100 to Rs.150 per hair follicle. That means to get 3, 000 hair you will be spending a minimum of Rs. 3 lacs to 4 lacs but you will only get 2400 or less hair on top of your scalp. Lets go back to the fact that if you need 40, 000 to 50, 000 hair on top to restore your appearance and if you only get 2400 hair after spending more then 3 lacs, what results and satisfaction would you get? If you want 40, 000 hair, will you spend 40 to 60 lacs ($100, 000 USD)? Even if you want to spend 1 crore rupees to get a full head of hair, unfortunately no doctor and no company can remove and plant that many hair on top as clinically its proven that your donor area in 1 session of surgery will only allow 2500 to 3000 hair through FUE method and 5000 to 6000 hair through FUT method but not more. You can always do multiple sessions of surgeries but maximum through FUE method you can get 8, 000 to 9, 000 hair and FUT 9, 000 to 15, 000 hair but they cannot fulfil a requirement of 50, 000 hair.

Virendra Sehwag is DHI’s biggest lie on the basis of which people are misguided in 3 major areas.

- Virendra Sehwag only got 2800 to 3000 hair at the front through FUE (DHI method) so he only from the front he looks as if he has full head of hair but when you see him from the sides or back he is still more then half bald and when he bowls in any cricket match, you can see his bald areas that are clearly visible.

- The pictures used by DHI in magazines and newspapers is only from the front and is computerised otherwise we all know how he looks today!

- In Virendra Sehwag’s TV commercials they use wig to cover his bald areas at the back (crown area) but when he is on the cricket field and is bowling, we all can see that he is more then half bald!

The truth is that Virendra Sehwag’s surgery was performed by doctor called Dr. Eleftherios Papanikolaou who used to come to India from Greece but even he could only give Sehwag less then 25% of his hair back compare to what was required and he is still more then half bald. The bigger truth is that Dr. Papanikolaou no longer comes to India to perform surgeries. Why is DHI showing results of Virendra Sehwag to India of a doctor who doesn’t even come to India? Why are they trying to sell their highly new and inexperienced doctors by showing results of a completely different doctor?

DHI is claiming to perform surgeries for many bollywood actors but can someone ask them for a proof ? These are all false claims. If they have performed surgeries for even a single bollywood actor, why are they not using the name of the actor, his before and after results, pictures in newspapers and magazines. Why are they only using false and unethical images of Virendra Sehwag?

India, beware of DHI. This company by franchising the business to make money is misguiding Indian people in countless areas like

• Calling FUE method DHI method
• Trying to hide serious limitations of this method including the wastage of follicles.
• Promoting 4-5 inexperienced doctors who are newly passed outs and hiding these serious facts from people.
• Hiding the wastage of follicles part and charging people on something which is not even planted!
• Hiding a million $$$$ fact that after spending 3 to 5 lakhs rupees you will only get 2500 to 3000 hair and they will not be enough to restore your appearance!
• Showing Sehwag’s computerised image when the truth is he is still more then 50% bald!
• Hiding the truth about who performed Sehwag’s surgery to promote inexperienced doctors.
• False claims about bollywood and other people without having any proofs!
