Costume Craze Lost my costume and money

I made an order and purchased a costume from www.costumecraze.com. I followed their size chart so I was sure I ordered the correct size. But when my costume arrived it was way too small and did not fit. I contacted Costume Craze and they replied that I can send it back and get a replacement. That seemed like a great deal so I agreed and shipped it back. Later I received a message from them stating they did not have my size in stock and was promised a refund. Never heard anything from them again. I lost my costume and did not get my money back. Costume Craze is not to be trusted, don't bother buying from them, they are very bad!

Costume Craze Return Policy Hidden On Pet Costumes

I ordered a dogt Halloween costume. It arrived and was twice the size that I wanted. I reordered it. Then I called to see where to mail back the costume that was too large. They told me that pet costumes are not returnable due to hygienic reasons. They told me that I had accepted their policy when I placed the order. I never even tried it on the dog because it was way too large.

My complaint is - they should have printed a warning on all pet items that they are NON RETURNABLE. I feel it is deceptive marketing of their products.

They could have placed a message when I was completing my order indicating that some items might not be returnable.

Costume Craze Terrible experience

I bought a kids fire costume from Costume craze. My 4 year old took it out of the box ripping open the plastic bag it was in and tearing the box. Played with it for 5 minutes and one of the metal buckles feel off the coat. The next day another buckle feel off. I called them and said my son ripped the original packaging it was in and the box it came in. It broke why he was playing with right out of the box. They said send it back to us. I paid to send it back. They received it never called me I had to call them were they told me they would not refund it since it was not in original packaging. Plus it was worn. They also said if I wanted it back I would have to pay for it to be sent back. They told they will not send it back to the company that made it nor resale it. So I am not sure why they are not refunding a defective product. Costume Craze has a unsatisfactory record with the BBB.

Save your self time and money and don't buy stuff from Costume Craze!

I had placed an order and when i got to checkout to enter my billing information and all they told me that my visa card was declined and somehow they charged my credit card four times for that one order...i cancelled my order but they still have charged my card four times to many...i would like all my money put back on my card asap

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! save yourself the headache and the stress. Don't let them fool you with their prices, you pay a bigger price! HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE< DEFECTIVE COSTUMES!

THE WORST company i have EVER dealt with! I ordered a costume from them and paid very expensive shipping in order to receive it the next day. I did NOT receive it the day they promiseed delivery. In fact, they never even supplied me with a TRACKING number when the delivery was with UPS. Their Customer Service is HORRIBLE! They have "24 hour chat" service, they have a 24 hour "phone line". However anytime you try to chat with a representative or call there telephone number, no one is there to answer you. Instead you are prompted to send them an email. They promise you you will get a rely within 48 hours, which was NOT the case. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! It seems like no one is there to offer "customer service". When i finally managed to get someone on the "chat" service, they took so long in answer a simple question, my problem was never resolved! They have a bad reputation for a reason! Buyer Beware!

this is a terrible and dishonest company. they lied to us about shipping and after waiting for delivery for 20 days we gave up and purchased the item at a premium. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. FIND ANOTHER PURCHASE OPTION!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They charged my PayPal account before informing me that my item was out of stock. They promised an immediate refund. However, it has been weeks and my money has still not been refunded. They continue giving me the run around about it. I've had to file a claim with PayPal and the BBB in Utah where they are located. I will never purchase from this company again and I recommend that others do the same. They will rip you off.

I just dealt with them and talking to a CSR rep also to the supervisor was a nightmare. They have a simple fill out form when you order your costume, however it doesn't prompt you if a shipping address seems incorrect. SOOO I had to pay $11 to have the package re-routed to me. It's like HELLO! if you see a customers name listed also IN the ship to address, wouldn't you contact your customer to confirm a shipping address? They do NOT do this. They don't even look at that information at all because they rely on automated shipping services to do everything correctly. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. I will never buy from them again.

I found a costume i liked in early July. It said "Pre -Order now" I did amusing I was Pre-Ordering for this Halloween Season. Its the 12th of October and I still have not received my costume but the money had been taken out of my Paypal account in July. I called to inquire and they told me that "Pre-Order" was a nice way of saying "Out of Stock" and that they could not guarantee It would come in at all. They could have let me know this ahead of time before my friends ordered costumes to match mine. Now I am left with no costume and I am waiting for them to refund my money. I do not suggest using this company!

Costume Craze Poor customer service

Back in September, I ordered what appeared to be an adorable Halloween costume for my two year old son ($40). When it arrived, I was very shocked of the quality and the condition of the costume. It was flimsy and was rolled up into a wrinkled ball. The bag looked like it had been stepped on, opened and restapled shut. I wasn't happy so I called their customer service number and asked them what their return policy was. The girl stated that I would be receiving a credit within two to three days after the merchandise was received. Additionally, I specifically asked the girl, if there were any fees associated with the return other than the shipping of course. She said no. You are only responsible for the shipping. Okay, so I send it back, weeks go by, nothing. I call them again, spoke with another girl and when I asked her about receiving a credit. She giggled and said "oh, we're really busy lately, who even knows if your package is even here". I asked her if she could go find out and that I had sent it out weeks ago. She said, no and that I'd have to wait until after Halloween, which was weeks away. Okay, so I wait a week after Halloween, spoke to another girl. She tells me that I was credited this morning, which I didn't see on my statement. When I asked her what the amount was, it was the not the amount that I was anticipating. They charged me a $15% restocking fee which is funny considering that was the question I had originally asked, I was told no. After an hour of pleading my case on the phone about how I was mislead through this whole process and wanted that add'l refund, the girl said, "sorry there's nothing we can do". When I asked for a manager, she said, sorry there's no manager here. This has to be the most unprofessional response ever... I will never ever buy anything from them again nor would I recommend their products. I was stuck paying shipping twice and a restocking fee for a piece of garbage that was used. I hope the people who returned it the first time weren't charged a restocking fee, because it wasn't restocked too well..they were ripped off.

I ordered a "princess leia" costume from costumecraze and mine came in incredibly shoddy condition as well. Rolled up in a ball, with pieces falling off, including one piece that had already completely detached itself. I was in the hospital when this costume came so I quite obviously could not open it and inspect it at the time. I emailed them and was very friendly the first time around, just saying the costume was in poor condition and unwearable and I understood it wasn't their fault. In the first email, I was given the return instructions and said it was fine to send back. In subsequent emails I was told I could not because I missed their "48 hour return policy." First off, 48 hours for a B&M store is ridiculous, let alone an internet purchase. We all have lives, and often, boxes sit for days before being opened in my household. Secondly, they are apparently sending shoddy products to many people and therefore, making it ridiculously hard to return on purpose. DO NOT order from them. You may end up with a terrible product and no way to return it.
