I've been there as well, but what I'm trying to figure out is, who and what are these people, they can be from these EARTH, because it takes certain kind of people to sit at a phone and call people a person and speak to them as if they are not human. Next thing is, How in Gods name do they think they will accomplish anything by there actions. No wonder they are hurting. Probably on the verge of Bankruptcy. Also, people are train by either the owner or someone under them. Can you imagine the training class...A BIG JOKE.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
The calls are being made from a cell phone, and can be coming from anywhere in the world. I live in IA, but the phone# that was left on the answering machine was [protected].
Call the Federal Trade Commission, and your local Attorney General, report what calls, threats, telephone numbers, names you have been given to them. I was recently being harrassed by a man with a very thick foreign accent. He (from what I could understand) claimed to be an officer of the law, " ____? Lincoln", and that charges were being filed against me by somebody. Since I have no idea who could be suing me for anything, I don't answer the phone, (I have caller ID, and the calls are "unknown name, number"). He has left messages, with a phone #to call him back. I have reported him to the FTC and the Attorney General. They really can't stop him, guess nobody can, but if you don't return the calls, or answer them, he will stop, especially if he knows you are wise to this fraud, and have reported it, the calls will stop.
I have received calls from this company stating that I owe money. I do not. I have the same name of the person they are seeking but I have no such outstanding debt. They are rude and call me late in the evening and at work. I thought this was illegal. Please advise what is legal recourse for such harrasement. They have to have consequences for thier behavior. All of the rest of society does, they are called laws. Who do I call? I live in Virginia but they are calling from IA. Who has jurisdiction? I know filing is only a $5 fee, it is well worth my time and money to cause them legal bills for the discomfort they have caused me. Does anyone know who we file with?
