I admit naivety here - I actually believed when I first contacted The BBB with this consumer complaint, they were going to help.
August 13th 2006: My disabled, senior citizen wife simply asked the Seaside, Oregon, Motel 6 desk clerk at check out time if we couldn't receive a discount for having been assigned a substandard room.
November, 2006: When I went to make a reservation to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary at the coast, I was told at that time the manager, Lee Judson, had put us on his nefarious Do Not Rent list because of this innocent question asked 3 months earlier;
I've rented at that motel for over 10 years and other motels and hotels over half the planet for a half a century and never even heard of a Do Not Rent list, let alone being put on one. So I Googled it and found out it is a tool used by some hospitality managers to keep drug dealers, prostitutes and their ilk out, and rightfully so.
11/06/06 I complained to the West Coast BBB; Judson flat lied to the Washington BBB – he gave them a list of tortuous, felonious activities he said he puts guests on his list for saying we met the criterion. He later told the truth under oath to a BOLI Inspector.
So I set out on a crusade to set the record straight. For the past 12 months I complained to everyone and anyone who would listen about this egregious action without success, so as a final resort I was finally driven to try and deal with this libelous, defamation of character issue in Small Claims Court. Through his attorney, Stan Gish of Beaverton, Judson played the bully and filed a frivolous countersuit for $100,000 moving the case to Circuit Court forcing me to hire an attorney I can't afford.
What did the BBB do? They just flat lied as well and said I indicated that I considered my complaint to be resolved...! They're a joke. I complained to them and they got mad at me, told me to stop contacting them! Wow. I'd heard all the horror stories about that organization but didn't believe them - I'm a believer now, for sure!
I'll be reporting them to the Attorney Generals in Oregon & Washington when I wrap up here.
refuse to give a refund after canceling our service. we paid on December 09 2022 for three months service. canceling because thier price keeps going up. canceled service January 2, 2023.
12/30/2022 trying to get hold of the businesses check department put me on hold for 1 hour never got back to me and I couldn’t resolved my issue
I received an email saying I had a warrant for my arrest and owe them money? What kind of scam is this?
I bought pain patches from this company, there is a 60 day money back guarantee! Said no hassle, no questions asked but I can’t get them to send me a return form, so I can return them! I spent about $400 they don’t work, so I want my money back! Thank You,

I make my car payment every month they cash the check I have bank statement to show they got the payment and every month they lie and say I did not make the payment
I ordered propane gas 12/10/2022 and I also paid my tank rental on 12/10/2022 but they haven't delivered our propane gas yet. We would like to get better service since we always pay our bills on time. We had this same problem for the last 2 years. We filed a claim last year and it still took 3 months for them to deliver the gas.

Oriole Clear Us withdrew $141.95 out of my checking account for the second time today in two days. The first time I called them and the money was returned. Today they did it again. I couldn’t connect with them on my phone.

in March, 2022, Honesty Cool and Heating was hired to get my air and heat ready for use. My air condition was completed. In April Honesty, placed a new furnace in my attic and left. In October I tried using my new furnace and found out the furnace was not hooked up. As of today 12/23/2022 Honesty has not returned my calls, text or email.
on 12-12-2022 charged a deposit then said they refunded it that it would take 7 to 10 days to get it back didn't say anything about this charge I have stayed in hundreds of motels including Supper 8's and have never been charged a deposit sounds to me like a way to temporarily trick people out of their money
The parking attendant refused to issue a receipt with printed date, time and amount. He also refused to accept card payment.
He has not explained prior to parking that he will no print the receipt and he did not explain he would not accept a Card.
I need a receipt to receive reimbursement for parking fee. This happened twice.
Ordered some products from the company called Cotosen on line. Paid with my credit card but never received the product. Place the order on November 25th. thinking I would get the product before Christmas because they are gifts. The order number is #[protected].
I went too Lemandale limits for ther business, 30 day trail, $49.00 a mouth. I email them rolled them to stop my account, but they big not. I woke like a refund and stop my account. Thanks.
December 15, 2022. I came home & witnessed my vehicle being towed from my property. I stopped the driver who was from a company by the name of hns recovery dfw, tx. He stated that titlemax ordered a repo on my truck that I purchased from LSO Auction in August. There was damage to my vehicle during the process. No one want to pay for the damages.
I bought items online from nowaistallowed. I never received my items. I contacted nowaistallowed and they told me to contact UPS which I did. UPS informed me they never received the package only the label was created. Nowaistallowed refused to refund me 64.50 which I spent, they refunded me 20 dollars.
Did not deliver my sim card. QLink sells locked phones I paid 30. QLink needs to refund me my thirty dollars after I mail them back their locked phone.
I have my car in the shop for repair. They called and said I have to pay the deductible and $299 of the repair bill. I don't think that is right. I am a disabled senior who cannot work. I always thought all I would pay is the deductible. Please help.
The Roofing Group out of Naples received a deposit of $4,000.00 to complete a roofing project. On 11/24/2021, as of today nothing has been done. Every time I call, I get the runaround. The license number is CCC1333076. The contact person is Katie Wallace [protected].
I purchased a watch from Garmin. The watch bands broke. Garmin sent me new bands that did not match my watch. They suggested I take the white pieces out - could not reasonable do that myself without risk of destroying the bands. Now their option is to buy a new watch.
I mailed a notice to JCI on September 15, 2022 non-renewing my service. They now contend that they never received and want to impose cancellation charges and penalties.

I was charged $17.50 (first announced as $24.09) in "brokerage fees" for a parcel shipped at sender's expense in Canada. Furthermore, even when I paid the fee, the parcel was never delivered. In my mind, UPS are fraudsters.

QLink wants $5 to redeliver their chip they didn't deliver. Its a scam. QLink is scamming the public using the Federal Government backing them up
November 5, 2022 Bought a used 2014 Lincoln MKZ. Over a month has elapsed and they apparently failed to file for a license plate. Plus the car needed $2000.00 worth of repairs
I received mail today stating I was being charged $349.85 for Norton security services. I never requested nor accepted a security upgrade to my phone or computer. Their phone number in the mailing I received is [protected].
I called and could not get anyone who spoke clear English.
I've been trying for months to cancel my subscription with no success. the provide directions but then have no links to complete the cancellation.

Worst after-sales customer service. Inability to talk to anyone beyond customer service. Scripted answers with no point of escalation. Asked for to cancel my order, said they could not because it was already shipped, even though said order was never delivered. No head office or ability to speak to anyone running the organization. Just terrible.
I ordered 2 personalized tumblers for Xmas gifts on November 20th, 2022. They took 71.89 off my credit card. They have never sent a tracking number or any info on my order. I’ve emailed support several times with no response. I believe I’ve been scammed. Order number #P84-69138
Insurance Benefit Potential Fraud-[protected] senior/elderly benefits scam
On 12/1/2022 a scam recording/call that tells you are being recorded and tricks you into saying "yes".
When you call the phone number [protected] back the recording gives a website www.benefitadvisorusa.com and gives you an option for a do not call list.
I was scammed out of money from my bank account by a company named PLCRA2GR.COM. They withdrew funds from my account on 12/2/2022, $39.95. When I attempted to contact them, they stated that the money they initially took was gone but would not pull out any more funds from my account. They said that they represent "Spotprime.net.
One month later and still no license plate or title. They hardly qualify as a car company.

The apartments where i live in are charging tenants $12.50 a month added to our rent for renters insurance, selling it with a coverage but there is no such policy available .Other tenants are thinking they have renter s insurance but its all a fake to collect rate.
I had them do work for me .Gave them 65,000.cannot get the rest of my money that. Thay owe me.
I ordered this product on December 1, 2022. I tried to install the product and it didn't work. I tried over 7 times to contact the company for help but never received a response. This makes me think the company is a scam. I paid for this program, they sent me the license key but the program never worked.
Bought a 10x20 portable building added a window before it was built they forgot to install it been going on 3 weeks to come and install keep telling they are coming out on 4 different times never call or show up .

bought a samsung fridge 5 years ago now the ice maker wont work ,the readout is wrong .wont hold a temp .,runs and never shuts down,fan works sometimes .light wont work problem began 11/27 /2022.
There is intermittent hot water at Lamonte Townhomes 3737 watonga. Complaining does no good. I suspect the system needs a major overhaul that local managers don't want to be responsible for. I'm a dialysis patient and like to shower before I visit the clinic.
