BEO Service Group review: firing 18

I, along with several other employees, have been fired and re-hired, then fired again on several occasions due to unrealistic reasons. I drive tractor trailor hauling water to gas wells. I was told to work up to 24 to 30 hours straight at times, drive past my DOT regulated hours or face the chance of being fired..The Supervisor Jason fires employees at will. This time I was fired for driving to slow. Although, he called to apoligize the very next day, I cant go back to a job where you never know when the next firing is coming..This company is very unreliable and tell the new employees what ever they need to hear to get the job done. They are a company based on making a fast buck and nothing else.

I agree gashole77. So many so called truck drivers rush in to make a quick buck. Those are the guys that can't work more than 8hrs a day and ### all the time. If you don't like the oilfield shut up and get out of our industry. Cry babies...

I haven't be at BEO long but have dealt with the gas industry for 2 1/2 years. This business things change often do to various reasons. so you have to understand that when there are 10 companies on location that makes for a nightmare. cause if 1 part goes down it can damage the other 9. Yes was told things when i was hired that i found out later that wasn't true. But this is the GAS INDUSTRY! the pay is good. The hours are there. just go to work do your job and go home. To many people rush and cause something to happen. that's life. To anyone reading this, there is always 3 truths to a story, yours theirs and the facts.. I have an expression "Thou Shall be Flexible as not to get bent out of shape"

BEO & NORTE r a freaking joke anybody that associates with these losers r nuts. EQT will figure this out in time. All your experience of 31 years Uta tell ya that your in the wrong job ya and as far as equipment sure its new but very much abused by drivers that cant shift to save their ### maybe u should have some driving school before you hire newbies. Jason e. is the biggest down fall of the hole entire operation. Eion and Sharron should kick this guy out and tell him to get a life. His charismatic ### kissing suck up bipolar skitzo attitude is something to admire.

BEO and Norte is nothing but a joke and the positive comments are from the owners or their paid off flunkies. I'm not a disgruntle ex-employee but I know enough about these companies to tell anyone to stay away from them. They will tell you anything you want to hear just to hire you. Then fire you just for the sake of firing you. BEO and Norte have a bad reputation in the oil and gas industry with some of the top gas companies...so bad they are band from their sites. Go ahead owners and operations manager try to type a rebuttal. Your actions out in the field speak louder than any comment you can put on this website. There are too many people in this area who know the truth behind BEO and Norte.

Any job is what you make of it. Yall made the decision to fill out the app and take a chance that it was a good job. Weather you sucked as an employee or you did your job and got screwed, they have alot of new equipment, you can work mad hours and make mad money. Not to mention most of the people that work there are pretty cool and look out for each other. Just get another job and move on.

I've been with the sister company now for some time. Norte is a good company to work for, so is BEO. Just as a few other comments above you will have a few disgruntled employees that will say anything to make a company look bad, as far as truck pushers, it's a business and they have to know what they are doing if not then they can go down the road. It's pretty sad to have people run a company down, just because they are unhappy, they don't want anybody else happy. I make good money doing what I do, I'm happy where I'm at. All a driver has to do is show up for work do your job safely do your paper work correctly and go home to your family. What's the problem ? By the way I've been in the trucking industry for 31 years. the comment's above probably don't even add up to 31 years.

Honestly, I had never worked for a company. That went thru as many Employees as BEO, in a 1 year time span!
I Would if I was an Owner be looking at My upper Management. Because truly does seem like this is where the problem starts. Have no issues with BEO, had no problems with management. after 1 year employment was fired. Because I put a 15 hour shift in. Running water and training another employee. Next day took some time off. after being away from my home for 18 hours. Got some rest and returned the following day to be told I was fired ( thru a text message ). Was never given a chance to talk to anyone about the matter. Tried to contact management a few times.

Two years?...I don't think this company has any employees who have lasted two years. Majority of them are not fired, but quit because BEO does not follow through with its promises to the employees. I disagree with the above two comments. Obviously one of the owners found this site and is now posing as an employee and writing positive comments, because there is nothing positive about working for this company!

I agree with the comment above. It's a shame that web sites like these are only for those who have been fired for their own insubordination or bad conduct on the job. These comments above are full of lies from only those who have been fired and are mad at the world. I have worked for this company for 2 years now and find it to be one of the best run and managed companies I have ever worked for. The bulk of their equipment is brand new and all has top notch maintanence. Any good company needs to weed out the bad apples.

doing their cocaine? what kind of a ignorant fathead comment is that! No wonder you were fired!
Another disgruntled ex employee. With drivers in such demand in this area, you must be one horrible
driver to be fired in this maketplace. Most of these companies will give a driver a chance over and over to try to keep them. You must be one big screw up, and I'm sure they are happy your gone!

I was there for almost 3 months, never had 1 complaint against me, always traveled out of town when they asked... was working in Waynesburg night shift, and the next day I was called to the lead driver's room, along with 2 other drivers, to be told we was "let go" ... when asked why, they said for bad talking the security guard on site, funny thing is EVERYONE on night shift told the lead driver it was bull and that not one thing was said about him on the radio, but yet here I am sitting at home, and not one phone call to find out my side of the story, Jason just ignored all our phone calls and Ian told us to talk to our supervisor and have a nice day...and I know dam well they are partying this weekend, doing their cocaine and not giving a care that they fired us for no reason. All we know is they will have another lawsuit on their hands come Wednesday if this is not taken care of!

I agree, and sympathize with the above employees who were treated poorly by these nut cases that are pretending that they know how to run a business. BEO Service Group is now located in Williamsport, so I filed a complaint that is listed under that category. I hope enough people get the word out there about this company.

BEO isnt the only company servicing the gas field that does this my husband has woork for 2 local companies that are known for doing the same thing. This state need to open their eyes to the violations and risk to public safety. My husband hauls water into well sites and like yours he has to work the ungodly hours. His first job ended because the company was making money hand over fist and wouldnt provide Health Insurance for spouses and families. I have a medical condition and need the insurance. The job he has now he has to travel over 2 hrs to get to their locations so a 14 or 16 hr day turns into 18 hrs some days. All this drilling is good for the economy but the companies suck.

What I dont understand in today's world is how can someone like BEO and others get away with breaking the law. My husband was fired from them because the trucks tires were so bad that he could not make it up a hill, after trying several times he called in to tell them and was told to come back and park the truck. He was fired. He still has not received his last check. Sharon told him it was in the mail. NOT. He was also told that several people were being fired, Jason included. I have been a manager and business owner in a nother state and what I keep seeing in the state of Pennsylvania and the way that businesses can fire people at will keeps me at home with no job. We moved here 5 yrs ago after my husband got out of the Army and I hate Pennsylvania more and more every day. The laws need to be changed. There are hard working families here that are trying to get a good job to be above "making ends meet" but with companies like BEO it will always be hard to do. How many doors need to be opened before these good workers will get a chance to prove themselves?

I agree with you! I was just fired as the Office Manager because I supposedly wasn't working out. Even though I ran the whole office while they were travelling back and forth to Uniontown and How Jason and sharon both said I was doing a great job. But after last week when I was working there and I was told to lie to the OSHA consultant, I realized how much this place was a joke. They fired people left and right and they fired one of the dispatchers because her boyfriend was diagnosed with Cancer. That is ###! I am glad that I am out of there because when they get caught by OSHA or DOT they are not going to have a business to run!

We work there also. are experiencing samething. working over 24 hour days. Told we are not under DOT regulations. Just keep driving when well needs something, you must go no, dosesn't matter if you are up all day. Just get the work done. Have no concerns for public saftey. Also alot of equipment needs work and service done.
