I recently purchased a home where the previous owner received a catalogue from Appleseeds. When I called today to cancel the mailing, I was informed that they would not process my request over the phone, I had to tell the postal carrier to stop delivering to the home. The previous owner recently over 50 catalogues (I've lost count), and all other companies have been willing to accept my request to discontinue their catalogue, except one, Appleseeds. I strongly encourage you, don not provide this company your email address or request a mailed catalogue. Otherwise, you will be stuck for life receiving their unwanted solicitations. Horrible, horrible, business practice.

I thought Appleseed's catalogue was very nice and the prices were not too steep when I received it the mail. I attempted to order from my tablet and was able to the bring the order of clothing down with the promotion codes to $110.00, which I thought was amazing.

I didn't want to put my credit card in on-line so I called them. The clerk was very pushy and submitted my order, which came to $150.00. I then gave her the promotion discounts to apply and she said it was reduced to $130.00. I informed her that the on-line deal was lower, but she said the discount is different when you order over the phone. So I agreed anyway with the $130.00 purchase, because she was hurrying me off the phone. This morning, I look at my phone purchase through my bank account and she charged me the full rate of $150.00. She really didn't give me a chance to decide whether I wanted to pay that price. This company is very underhanded. If, when I call back for the reduction and I don't get it, I will contact the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. I'm wondering if I don't like the clothes and send them back, will they give me my money back! I had no idea they had so many complaints.

Hi, I ordered 2 shorts from Appleseed's and since I had questions about my order, I called customer service. I subsequently received my order, it was as expected, but when I didn't hear from them concerning my payment, I called again customer service, not wanting to pay late fees. I wasn't late, but when I received my bill a couple of days later, I saw that Appleseed's had charged me with the amount of $17 for having called customer service twice - it was clearly stated on my invoice.
They had sent me their credit card with my order, so I promptly cut it in half, not wanting to do business with them again, ever. I sent my full and final payment to the bank and wrote an email to the company telling them that I found both the fact that they charged me for calls to customer service and the amount outrageous, and that as a protest, I had cut my credit card in half, not wanting to order from them ever again.
The only reply I got was: We are sorry you experienced problems with your credit card, but for this you have to contact another department..., in short, they are stonewalling.
Ladies, let's boycott that company, that is so consumer-unfriendly!

I returned 3 items that I got from Apple seeds, worth about $70.
They gave me a return amount of $6.70.
What a ripoff! No longer will I buy from Apple seeds!

I returned a sweater and two tee shirts that did not fit properly. It took them over a month to credit me and then it was $6.70 for about $70 worth of merchandise.

I am flabbergasted when the Customer Service person told me this is their standard policy. BE AWARE! If you are unsure of sizes do not buy from Appleseeds. Their shipping costs are high and RETURNS are a disaster!
I want a refund that is closer to the costs I paid for the items.

When I made an order I saw that there was a free shipping option so I clicked it. I had no idea there were some hidden fees! Received my order in reasonable time and was satisfied with what I got and was planning to order some other things. But then they charged my card and took a monthly membership fee! I never wanted to become a member! These people never asked my permission, they just took my money and that's all! Called them and they said that I agreed myself and that it was not their problem! My advise - stay far away from Appleseed's!

I ordered two skirts for my mother from the website www.appleseeds.com. I placed the order a month ago. They took money within couple of minutes, but these dishonest sellers still haven’t provided my ordered stuff. I’m really disappointed in this website and want to get my money back, but no one reply to my emails. Total scam, so be careful if you buy from them. Maybe someone has any idea how to reach these sellers.

I ordered dress and jacket for my birthday from the company www.appleseeds.com. I placed order two months in advance, but these jerks decided to fool me. They provided all necessary info, but after that they started to ignore me. When I sent them emails and asked to provide info, this awful staff simply returned all my emails back and without any reply or explanation. The worst services and not recommended company.

I never ordered anything from this company and I began receiving catalogs. I called and requested termination of their catalogs in Oct. 2012. They told me it would take a few months to get me off their mailing list. I have called 3 times and spoken to the supervisor and gotten the same story. It has been 9 months and I'm still getting their junk. How do I stop this unwanted mailing? Clearly they are not going to stop.
Help! They are killing tress.

I placed an order with Appleseeds on-line in December (Christmas gift). I started getting calls from a phone number in California on my cell phone, when I called back I got strange recordings. Then yesterday I happened to answer the call from this number, and it was a Telemarketer - asking to do a "survey" on my recent purchase from Appleseeds and The Tog Shop. I answered some pretty routine questions, then they said our call was going to be "recorded" which gave me a HUGE red flag. This is when the Telemarketer started asking me if I wanted to save 20% and a flat $5 shipping... I knew at that point it was not Appleseeds, but a Telemarketer, and I told them to NOT contact me ever again on this number. I searched the internet for the phone number, and yes it is a telemarketer, that I assume Appleseeds sold my contact information to. I've contacted Appleseeds and they've continued to lie to me about it, referring it as an "outbound calling group" - in other words a TELEMARKETER. I can't believe they gave my cell phone number out to a Telemarketer to contact me trying to sell me a SCAM discount membership - I've read on line they've done this to others and start charging their credit card every month... REALLY? It's a shame this is how they treat their customers.
